Mount Vernon Statement, CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATISM, A STATEMENT FOR THE 21ST CENTURY, We recommit ourselves to the ideas of the American Founding, Constitution

Mount Vernon Statement, February 17, 2010.

THE MOUNT VERNON STATEMENT
CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATISM:
 A STATEMENT FOR THE 21ST CENTURY
        We recommit ourselves to the ideas of the American Founding. Through the Constitution, the Founders created an enduring framework of limited government based on the rule of law. They sought to secure national independence, provide for economic opportunity, establish true religious liberty and maintain a flourishing society of republican self-government.
        These principles define us as a country and inspire us as a people. They are responsible for a prosperous, just nation unlike any other in the world. They are our highest achievements, serving not only as powerful beacons to all who strive for freedom and seek self-government, but as warnings to tyrants and despots everywhere.
       Each one of these founding ideas is presently under sustained attack. In recent decades, America’s principles have been undermined and redefined in our culture, our universities and our politics. The self-evident truths of 1776 have been supplanted by the notion that no such truths exist. The federal government today ignores the limits of the Constitution, which is increasingly dismissed as obsolete and irrelevant.
       Some insist that America must change, cast off the old and put on the new. But where would this lead — forward or backward, up or down? Isn’t this idea of change an empty promise or even a dangerous deception?
       The change we urgently need, a change consistent with the American ideal, is not movement away from but toward our founding principles. At this important time, we need a restatement of Constitutional conservatism grounded in the priceless principle of ordered liberty articulated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
       The conservatism of the Declaration asserts self-evident truths based on the laws of nature and nature’s God. It defends life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It traces authority to the consent of the governed. It recognizes man’s self-interest but also his capacity for virtue.
       The conservatism of the Constitution limits government’s powers but ensures that government performs its proper job effectively. It refines popular will through the filter of representation. It provides checks and balances through the several branches of government and a federal republic.
       A Constitutional conservatism unites all conservatives through the natural fusion provided by American principles. It reminds economic conservatives that morality is essential to limited government, social conservatives that unlimited government is a threat to moral self-government, and national security conservatives that energetic but responsible government is the key to America’s safety and leadership role in the world.
        A Constitutional conservatism based on first principles provides the framework for a consistent and meaningful policy agenda.

It applies the principle of limited government based on the rule of law to every proposal.
It honors the central place of individual liberty in American politics and life.
It encourages free enterprise, the individual entrepreneur, and economic reforms grounded in market solutions.
It supports America’s national interest in advancing freedom and opposing tyranny in the world and prudently considers what we can and should do to that end.
It informs conservatism’s firm defense of family, neighborhood, community, and faith.
       If we are to succeed in the critical political and policy battles ahead, we must be certain of our purpose. We must begin by retaking and resolutely defending the high ground of America’s founding principles.

  2. America is awakening. They are beginning to return to basic fundamentals that were the ideas that made America the greatest country in the world. They are beginning to see the difference between real concepts that work compared with progressive concept that fail.

    For years progressives have promoted their ideas as fashionable, the latest latest, and the path to guaranteed popularity. I have often wondered if those people who so naively supported progressive ideas truly underst00nd them or did they go along with the crowd to avoid rejection?

    It is our job to promote the reality progressive ideas are a path to the destruction of a nation and ultimately the personal rights of its citizen. Our inalienable rights acknowledged by the Constitution are not negotiable on any level. Any idea that opposes that concept must immediately be rejected by all Americans–in spite of the risk of losing popularity with progressives.

    It is our job to support and promote the Mt. Vernon Statement and conservatism as the best idea on the planet to protect America’s highest and best interest which ultimately protects all in their individual lives.

    Returning to the ideas of our founding fathers is the path we must all follow if we are to take back America and restore it to the great and honest nation it was and will again become.

    After a year of observing the growth of the Tea Party movement, and hundreds of conservative web sites, groups and individuals, I have more confidence than ever, we will suceed. The signs of progressives failing are every where.

    Remove the fraud from office in 2010. Failure is not an option. Yes we can. Yes we will!

  3. The Republican Party will not support her as a Presidential candidate because they will not let go of the “good ‘ole boys club.” After all, look who they have chosen to lead them…Steele.

    Neither party will support Sarah Palin. However, she will be a thorn in the side of both IMHO because she is grassroots savvy, and both parties are too far removed from the needs of the average American.

    Happy Day…Linda

    Great comment and right on.
    I believe the GOP will fully support her BECAUSE by then the GOP my have a totally different mindset and Leadership.

    The Conservative are coming!
    The Conservative are coming!

    You can see them already starting to change their tune because they see how ineffective they are against this Conservative Wave as proven by the election results.
    Conservative have won almost every election, RINOs and LIEberal has lost them.

    *******************************************

    The Republican establishment started running from her when she was the Governor of Alaska….she outed her own party……she has to run as a Repub because that is the party that brought her to the dance…..it doesn’t mean she is one of the establishment though…..quite the opposite…..that is why when any Repub is asked on national tv about Palin running in 2012 for Prez watch how they all react…..first complimenting her for something or other that is good then excusing her as a real candidate who could win….YES THEY ARE ALL AFRAID AND RIGHTLY SO…..she will clean out the RINO’s and the game is over!!!

    What a wonderful synopsis of the Mt. Vernon Statement! Thank you, wholeheartedly!

    Those of us who have been closely following the
    “progress” of the Progressives have been alarmed at the blatant disregard for our Constitution. We have watched as they have methodically destroyed our economy, disparaged us internationally, and ignored our pleas to “stop” the spending!

    I am encouraged by the CPAC Conference, its speakers, and its “call to arms.” I am also encouraged by the numerous patriot groups that have sprouted up all over this great nation to “fight for freedom.”

    We keep hearing about “going forward.” It is the “buzz phrase” of the Progressives. It is my contention we must go BACK to the principles our Founding Fathers laid out for our precious Free Republic. Then and only then, will we be able to move “forward” into the future secure in the knowledge we have provided for the needs and success of generations to come.

    Thanks for this most encouraging post…Linda

    Sestak says federal job was offered to quit race
    Not so, says White House

    By Thomas Fitzgerald

    Inquirer Staff Writer

    Rep. Joe Sestak (D., Pa.) said yesterday that the White House offered him a federal job in an effort to dissuade him from challenging Sen. Arlen Specter in the state’s Democratic primary.

    The disclosure came during an afternoon taping of Larry Kane: Voice of Reason, a Sunday news-analysis show on the Comcast Network. Sestak would not elaborate on the circumstances and seemed chagrined after blurting out “yes” to veteran news anchor Kane’s direct question.

    “Was it secretary of the Navy?” Kane asked.

    “No comment,” Sestak said.

    “Was it [the job] high-ranking?” Kane asked. Sestak said yes, but added that he would “never leave” the Senate race for a deal.

    A White House spokesman this morning strongly denied Sestak had been offered yesterday. Before the spokesman issued the denial a senior Pennsylvania Democrat yesterday said White House officials there were angered by Sestak’s account.

    CitiBanks “WithdrawalGate” Warning

    February 19, 2010 in Campaign 2008, Campaign 2010, Campaign 2012, Capitalism, Economy, Politics, Uncategorized | Tags: Citibank, Corporate bonuses, FDIC, SeekingAlpha, Sheila Bair, WithdrawalGate | Leave a comment

    Seen on a recent Citibank (C) statement: “Effective April 1, 2010, we reserve the right to require (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking accounts. While we do not currently exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, we are required by law to notify you of this change.”

    Whoa. Is this an April Fool’s joke? A contingency plan to defend against the idea of what “would happen if thousands of [bank] customers pledge to withdraw their money from the bank on a certain day, unless the bonuses are capped?” A strategem cooked up by Citi’s new shareholders from the hedge fund industry, an industry in which such withdrawal gates are common? An idea backed by Citi’s big shareholder, Uncle Sam, or one of its regulators, Sheila Bair?

    I called Citi about it and they said the warning applies only to customers in Texas and that the notification had been mistakenly included on statements nationwide. Whatever the explanation, it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in Citi. I’ve got nothing against Citi as a general matter — I have friends who work there, and know some account holders who are generally satisfied customers. But it’s hard to believe a bank would be sending out a notice like that on its statements.

    As man becomes more and more dependent upon himself and his contrived systems, he becomes less dependent upon the Creator.

    As man shifts to thinking himself a god, God becomes less of a factor in his life.

    IMHO, God is in control and manifests Himself into the universe that He created. Thus, God will have the last word, and there is nothing man can do to prevent it.

    Matthew: 26-28
    “Therefore do not be afraid of them.
    Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed,

    What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light;
    what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.

    At one time the Celts and Lusitanios (Portuguese) were very close. The original Cubans are from CUBA in South Portugal which gave the name to Cuba Island and than Nation.

    Lt Colonel Allen West: “They’re Running”
    February 20th, 2010

    Washingtoons 18 February 2010
    Lieutenant Colonel Allen B West (US Army, Retired)

    “They’re Running”

    Greetings Wheels on the Road (WOTR) readers, fellow South Floridians, and all Americans, time for another monthly political assessment….with a bit of satire. Speaking of satire, I am writing this missive to you all from beautiful, sunny, cold, and snow packed Washington DC. I am here for the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) where I will have the distinct honor to speak.

    LTC Allen WestBeing here, I would almost postulate that DC has seen more snowfall recently that the Winter Olympics venue in Vancouver. If we could just get President Obama and former Vice-President Al Gore to apologize to God reference “man-made global warming/climate change” perhaps we would not all be freezing, even in South Florida! Coming to DC is always an experience because I always seek to find out what the politicians up here are drinking, so as to avoid.

    Yesterday, Wednesday 17 was the anniversary of the “American Economic Recovery Act” legislation, better known as the Stimulus bill. I listened to the President and the pundits and just wondered, if we stimulated the economy, why is unemployment in Florida close to 12%?

    Now today, I understand that the President is signing an Executive Order….how many is that now in first year….that establishes a panel to discuss how to reduce the deficit. LOL LOL LOL

    Earth to President Obama, I can answer that, STOP SPENDING! Of course the President is lauded as being insightful, deliberative, and pragmatic. Heck, wish he had been those things a year ago before he tripled our national deficit and allowed the Nancy Pelosi Congress, and my good buddy Congressman Ron Klein, to vote for a $1.9T increase of our national debt, to $13T.

    What is in the water up here?

    That brings me to the topic of this month’s piece, “They’re Running”. In these last few weeks we have seen several members of the US Senate and House call it quits. Most recently Senator Evan Bayh and Representative Patrick Kennedy, a Kennedy, have said they have had enough. We have seen in Florida Senator Mel Martinez, Representative Robert Wexler, and Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart all quit on their promise to serve the people. Why is it that all of a sudden these individuals are stepping down? Simple answer, the American people are FINALLY starting to hold elected officials accountable and that is such an amazing paradigm change. The reelection rate for Congressional incumbents has always remained rather high in America, now they feel challenged, actually scared.

    What angers me the most is that these individuals have brought us to the edge of the abyss and now walk away? They are completely complicit but yet find these inexcusable reasons for stepping down. I would prefer they all just said, “I have failed the American people”. However, that would require the very intangible ingredients missing in Washington DC; Honor, Integrity, and Character. As Plato warned, we are truly being governed by our inferiors, and in some cases criminals.

    What should unhinge everyone who shall read this is that the American taxpayer will be providing a retirement salary to all these individuals, full 100%. It took me 22 years and a few trips into combat zones to earn a 55% retirement off my base pay. It takes a member in the Senate and House just 6 years to earn their full salary retirement for THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!

    Therefore, realize that the inept, incompetent, and oft time corrupt individuals who granted themselves automatic pay raises, caused the economic morass in which we find ourselves, and quit to leave the American taxpayer holding the bill. This bill falls not only upon us but our children and grandchildren for this debt and deficit, and also to fund their retirement.

    Why not quit, they have made for themselves the most excellent of schemes. But there is another side of “They’re Running” and that is the solution, an awesome shift which we have not seen since post-World War II. That is the resurgence of former Military who are running for Federal level political office. It has truly become en vogue to mention that you have prior military service, as opposed to touting that you are a career politician and lawyer.

    Groups like Combat Veterans for Congress and Iraq Veterans for Congress are thriving with close to 20 candidates out there, Senate and House. And of course, yours truly is counted in those ranks.

    America is once again looking for those Men and Women who clearly understand the ideals and principles which made this Country great. Moreover, the American people are seeking those who have taken that special oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic and bear true faith and allegiance to the same”…and have put their lives on the line to honor that oath. America is turning to those who have a lineage of service, sacrifice, and commitment to that which is greater than them. Americans are rejecting the self-serving politician whose interests are no longer in alignment with that of the people.

    However, let me issue a word of caution, test us and make sure we are indeed American Warriors and Patriots, not just former uniform wearers. This past Sunday I was appalled at the interview of National Security Advisor General James Jones, former Commandant of the US Marine Corps (and it is not pronounced corpse Mr President) by Chris Wallace of Fox News. I find individuals such as Representatives Patrick Murphy and Joe Sestak repulsive. Former Army Generals Colin Powell and Wesley Clark have lost all my respect and regard…therefore, never believe that having served in the Military gives a carte blanche, because even we have self-serving persons whose commitment may have been well intentioned at one time……but have lost their way.

    This 2010 election cycle represents an impeccable awakening of the American people, regardless of what the mainstream media and liberal progressive pundits assert. It is an awakening causing the ruling class presumed intellectual elite politicians to run away. However, based upon yesterday’s New York Times front page article, the left is already preparing for their assault on grassroots movements, Tea Party, in order to marginalize their influence. I offer them a word of caution; Americans are on to your game, hence why your viewing and reader subscriptions are faltering. It is funny to me that far left groups such as ACORN, Code Pink, SEIU, and anarchist groups can roam about freely spewing their venomous version of protest being applauded, while concerned Americans are attacked.

    Finally, I know the liberal progressive political mantra is personal attacks aimed at character assassination, since they are unable to articulate principled solutions. When dealing with former Military combat Veterans running for office, stick to the issues….Congressman Ron Klein……because we are unlike your typical politician. We welcome an attack and we will fight back, as we always have done, to protect the Constitution of the United States and the American people.

    It might be best for ole Ron Klein to run away as well.

    Steadfast and Loyal!
    LTC A B West (USA, Ret)

    PRWH……………………………………

    Who said old people are incapable of learning things. Hell I just got History, and Social Studies lessons all rolled into one. Great work PRWH. LOL Now if our US school system would do the same thing we probably would need only HALF the teachers, and educating our young people would theoretically cost half as much.
    \\\\\\\\\\\\ ////////////////

    Someday I should write a book about Old STyle Disciplined Education and Progressive FARSE EDCUATION.

    I garduated school in Portugal at the age of 11 completing the four yrs that were required and went to work. Came to USA at age 14 not knowing one word of English. I went to a bilingual program for 6 month and then was placed on 10th grade even though I could hardly speak English. I had 4.5 yrs of schooling .5 of which was after being out of school for over 3 yrs and in a totally new language and was placed with kids that had at least 9 yrs of schooling on their native language.

    I graduated High School with my class 3 yr later with very decent grades.

    NOW for the school size shocker.

    The school I went to in Portugal was one room one teacher about 60 kids divided in four different grades in the same classroom at the same time. We learned like crazy, because we had no distractions, obedience and DISCIPLINE.

    So I laugh at the HOAX of overcrowding and student to teacher ratios that the Regressives in the Teacher Union and Education Dept talk about all the time.

    A good teacher with disciplined kids and parent support can teach class sizes of 100 -1000 kids or more. When you can’t discipline and have to babysit an ignorant parent’s baby you need two teachers or more per child. Soon a classrom full of teachers per one child will be needed if we keep listening to the Erosionists.

  49. This is an interview that Kevin from Hillbuzz did with Andrea Shea King. Kevin is on the streets in Chicago near Obama’s cesspool of corruption. It is about how we Democrats (center right-moderates) will do everything we can to help the Republicans gain seats at the end of the year. Part of it is re: Tea Party info and NOT to form a third party (so Obama does not win) but to move to the Republicans and the dirty tricks the Dems are going to try to pull-like we haven’t seen most of them already. Andrea said the Tea Party folks in Florida are onto their scams and will do everything in their power to stay pure Tea Party-the reason we all participate in it. The Dems in DC are so out of it, it just boggles my mind. They don’t care about the American people at all, for them it’s money and power-crazy people that is all I can say. Part of it also covered the absolute destruction of the Democratic party-we hope and pray-they are too out of control to be trusted with anything.

    Nope. Will get the flu screen results on Monday, and will also learn if my local hospital can do those specialized Lyme tests; if not, we’ll have to send the sample to CA for testing.

    Doing OK, thanks. I’m on heavy antibiotics right now, and I’m monitoring just to see if there’s an overall improvement in my mobility; that may indicate Lyme, as antibiotics are usually prescribed for it.

    General Alexander Haig, in memorial

    http://lamecherry.blogspot.com/2010/02/general-alexander-haig-in-memorial.html

  60. If there is anyone left – except for the Flying Monkeys – who does not understand that the putative president has nev er shown himself to be legally eligible to hold the office he now occupies, just follow along …

    If you go to the Mario Apuzzo website and actually read the Initial Appeals Brief of Jan 19, 2010, you’re in for a real eye-opener (as are the DOJ attorneys “defending” Obama using our tax money).

    That’s doubly ironic since these attorneys – and their bosses – took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemies foreign AND domestic but they are now in the position of actually attacking that very document rather than defending it and are trying to get an obviously ineligible man to remain in an office he has never shown himself to be eligible to hold.

    The wonderful Apuzzo Brief is a primer on both Constitutional law, the meaning of it, the Founders’ intent vis-a-vis Article II of the Constitution and a forceful put-down of the lies and misinformation put forth by the Obama Flying Monkeys such as “smrstrauss” and others.

    I’d urge everyone to read the Initial Appeals Brief from Attorney Apuzzo’s website along with the many essays by both Mario Apuzzo AND his Lead Plaintiff, Charles F. Kerchner. While there, it would really help to donate even a small amount to the publicity/education fund presently used only for full-page newspaper ads in the Washington Times National Weekly Edition.

    The Brief gives a very good overview of the original action AND it puts the lie to the many false arguments by the Obot Flying Monkeys about why BHO is either (their words) eligible to hold the office he now occupies OR that it (their words) doesn’t matter that he is not eligible. Your understanding of the relation of the U. S. Constitution to We The People will be forever enlightened.

    Actually, Obama’s whole life seems to be nothing but a work of fiction. The man has never shown himself to be Constitutionally eligible to hold the office he now occupies.

    If you’d like to see something from a different point of view, watch the two short videos below which, even though they start slowly and have a bit of fun, contain a wealth of factual data – more than we’ve seen from Obama.

    In fact in the second video a famous senator is quoted speaking about someone that sounds for all the world like “Our Boy” and really strikes a chord.

    Only thing is the senator was the Roman named Cicero speaking in 42 BC – but the message is still very directed and pertinent for all of us:

    Three Little Words

    Merry Christmas OmeriKa!!

    Hi Linda(r),

    I meant the ‘attached’ flotation devices, if ya get my drift 🙂

    Yup, what a pair! I’ll tell ya, though, I plan to keep kickin’ just to see them all kicked out! You keep huggin’ the rug and I’ll keep bouncin’ off the walls…

    I do think I have to get a third kid. Lucy is young and peppy and Mitzi is older, and has just lost her buddy; Mimi and she were a bonded pair. I’ll have the same situation with the bunnies when one passes. I’m in the process now of adding a pen; will add the pig as soon as everything’s ready! I will bring Lucy with me for the intros; looks like we’ll be going back to CT.

  62. SueK // February 20, 2010 at 1:03 pm

    I won’t be doing any “kicking” for a while so will have to rely on others to do that! As far as “bouncing” is concerned, I’ll leave that to you…you are good at it! LOL 🙂

    I think taking Lucy Lou with you is a great idea. I used to take my dog with me when I needed to replace a cat, and she would pick out the best “buddy” so think that will definitely work.

    I would imagine, too, Mitzi is still grieving so she will be hard-pressed to accept a “new” pal.

    Geeeez…you had better get better soon for your next trip to CT. Rest up, Bood Guddy, you will need your strength for the next trip! It’s hard being a mother, isn’t it? 😉

  65. Something else to ponder: What if Beck is working so hard to derail Medina, because he, and his handlers, know she’s a loose cannon, and may be privy to allowing an eligibility suit to come to fruition in Texas?

    I know they don’t want her to win, because it’s a blow to the NWO and globalist, but what if they also don’t want her to win, because she may push the AG to look into all the lawsuits filed in Texas pertaining to Obama’s citizenship?

    She’s not a dummy, and she apparently knows about the NWO agenda (she does frequent interviews on Alex Jones show), and she seems hell bent on stopping it.

    I think her main priority is Texas and stopping the NWO, but if she knows what we know about Obama, she just may be willing as Governor, to help push the AG to open an investigation, and FOX would not like the possibility of Obama getting derailed by Medina.

    Just a thought.

  70. SUEK……………………………………….
    I hope that you can determine what your illness is pretty soon. Feeling sick,and out of it all the time really gets old quick.
    I can’t believe that a LYME test has to be sent to California for analysis. Mine was sent to a place in St. Louis MO. They done only the Western Blot on me. They may as well not even have done the test to start with. The Western Blot like most of the other tests can only detect ONE antigen. Burgodorferi can generate up to 23 different antigens,but not always the same ones or even all of them in varied circumstances, so there is a substantial variable right at the beginning. The Johns Hopkins data base information now says that several tests must be done over a predetermined period of time. This is necessary because it relates to the life cycle of the antigens. Even if only one of these ARE detected there is a strong enough probability of the presence of Lymes to justify getting a treatment regimen started. If you are intolerant to the DOXY, there is another of the same family which is tetracycline. It has some side effects You must avoid direct sunlight. That also applies to DOXY. Levaquin was used with the Doxy in my case, in an alternating regimen. As I said there is a long list of meds,and even a lot of treatment procedures that have been developed since I was treated for it. You are fortunate in some ways because the more of an epidemic it becomes the more research will be conducted by various institutions, out of which more effective meds, and treatment will no doubt emerge. I spent several years not knowing. I used that time to research everything that I could read that related to the illness. Sadly there are STILL even many doctors who do not have any grounding pertinent to either detection of Lymes OR treating it. You must find a doctor who has already successfully treated Lymes. I was forced to go to Indianapolis to find such a practioner. He was an INTERNIST. Leave no rock unturned……………..Good Luck.

  71. Connie,

    Hope you don’t mind if I respond.

    Every person has varying levels of melanin in their skin. White folks do too.

    Skin will become darker according to how much melanin exists. This is how many blond Europeans for example can have dark complexions, that get even darker when exposed to the sun.

    No surprise in that picture.

    Just one more thing that I didn’t get said in my last comment. While it is the burgodorferi spirochete that makes you sick it is the various ANTIGENS that it generates which make you SICKER. That is why the tests are oriented towards detecting the antigens.

  79. For all our talented artists, those hillbuzz guys are always thinking. This would be a riot.
    http://hillbuzz.org/2010/02/20/photoshop-challenge-alice-in-wonderland/
    The new Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland is coming out in March. It’s going to be a massive hit (unlike “The Princess and the Frog”, which bombed, its images will indeed become part of pop culture).
    We think it’s smart to start making photoshops of Dr. Utopia as the Queen of Hearts…and all his minions as the various other creatures of Wonderland in service to this queen.
    Jabber-Biden just sort of writes itself.
    Pelosi and Reid as the Tweedles is another obvious one.
    Dr. Utopia is an effeminate, radical, lunatic demanding complete control of the country…much like the Queen of Hearts as played by Helena Bonham Carter.
    We tried depicting Dr. Utopia as Dr. Facilier from the Disney cartoon “Princess and the Frog”, because that character was clearly based on Utopia visually, but so few people actually saw the movie that it never registered who we were lampooning.
    Things will be different with Burton’s Alice…a movie about Alice’s quest to bring down the evil queen and restore freedom to Wonderland.
    The Golden Age of Hope and Change under this madman is as surreal as any “wonderland”.
    Both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin can take the role of Alice…though Palin will be the one most likely to come face to face with the Queen of Hearts in 2012.
    We think we can do serious damage to the White House with this imagery…so we’re trying to get ahead of this before the public sees the movie so the images stick.
    If you can start work on some good images, email them to us at HillBuzz@gmail.com
    Thanks!

  80. SueK @ 1:03 pm

  81. PRWH………………………………………………………
    I firmly believe that people who try to use an overabundance of either artificial, or natural sunlight to darken their skin are introducing a high percentage of probability of contracting skin cancer in reward for their efforts. This can also include the possibility of psoriasis as well.
    While we was eenroute to the Marshall Islands in early 1954 many of our gang layed out on deck for a couple of hours at a time in the direct sunlight. As soon as the Corpsmen in sick bay got wind of it they posted a warning in the quarters of all departments that TOO long of exposure at a time or a cululative overexposure could result in skin cancer. This slowed some of the sunthbathers, but it didn’t stop them. As we got closer to the Marshall Islands it got hotter. People just didn’t seem to be interested they kept on doin it.

    I think Beck is ‘conservative light’. He had the perfect opportunity to stand up for freedom, and true conservatism by pushing Debra Medina.

    He showed his true colors.

    Apologies for the delay, and I won’t take up a lot of CW’s space!

    Although taking Lucy won’t guarantee a perfect match, at least we can see how they interact; long trip, though.

    I feel bad for Mitzi, with Mimi gone then, a parade of piggies, two of whom fought with her. She gets extra attention from her human!

  114. Ginger // February 20, 2010 at 1:14 pm

    Hi Ginger,

    Please don’t pre-judge rats! Everyone always thinks of the Norway rat, scurring around cities in the shadows, carrying disease and eating garbage.

    Domestic rats are *wonderful* pets and are very smart! I fostered one several years ago before she went to her forever home, and she was just amazing! She’d ride around on your shoulder all day if you’d let her. She did go to a good home.

    Funny, but hamsters, guinea pigs, and rats are all members of the rodent family. Hamsters have a little stub of a tail, and pigs have no tail, but rats do. I truly think it’s the tail that bothers most people, but they’re kind, bright, clean pets. I’m not set up for rats, but if I were, I’d have a few of them, too!

  115. I went to town to our little cafe which doubles as the republican headquarters. It was closed but there was a huge Debra Medina sign out front. No globalists for governors here in my little town in East TExas. Does anybody know if Medina is going up in the poles again.

  116. SueK, we have a vole (what’s a vole?) at work, and he got into my chips. We tried to live trap him but he’s too smart for that…he gets the peanut butter and gets out.

  117. Hi OldSalt and thanks for the Lyme primer! I’ve been doing a lot of research, too, even though my Neurologist doesn’t think it’s Lyme; yeah, and he told me last year that there was a 90% chance I had MS….

    I’m familiar with the tests I need; this company, IGeneX in CA supplies free test kits to docs and hospitals. I’ve ordered the full screen-the first one listed, the complete initial Lyme panel:

    http://igenex.com/Website/#

    Yes, react to Doxy, but there are a host of others out there. Ths problem is finding a doc; most won’t go near this due to the liability of treating with antibiotics over a long period of time. If I do have it, my insurance company will help me find a LLMD (Lyme-Literate MD).

    I’m sorry you contracted it-you’ve really had more than your share lately! Hope you’re completely cured of this thing! The first step, as you know, is the diagnosis then, who and how to treat it.

    Will keep you posted…thanks again!

    Hi Michelle,

    Well, most days, my mobility is limited; tough to get moving. Trying to work full-time takes everything I have sometimes.

    Yes, the critters keep me going, but they’re also a *ton* of work! Still, I feel as though rescuing those I can house *comfortably* is the reason I’m on this planet.

    I’m praying for Lt. Col. West that he gets in to do what he knows needs to be done!

    Please post whatever you hear about the election? Thank ye!

    What you need is a Hav-A-Heart trap (size: small). They’re available at Agway, or any feed/grain store in your area. Put some peanut butter, or bird seed in there, and set the trap. Her/his feet will trigger the trap, and the door will close behind her. You can take her/him out to a wooded area, and open the door so that she/he can leave. He/She’s just hungry and it looked like she/he loved your chips!

    The rats at the pet store was the first ones that I have seen in many, many years. I guess it was when I was 5 or 6. We lived in the country in a big two story house in bad repair. Our heat was a pop belly wood burning stove. We had rats! Lots of rats! One morning we woke up and saw a lot of blood along the floor all the way down the stairs. A rat had crawled in bed with my mother and it bit her on the toe. We were sooooo scared for her and us! After that we all took turns and sat up and watched for the rats. It just brought back awful memories. 😦

    Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate aren’t actually about that piece of paper — they’re about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.

    The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America.

    Next time someone talks about Barack’s birth certificate, make sure they see this page.

    I see two glaring problems on the web-site. One native citizen doesn’t cut it for potus. What court would take that document in a court of law for proof since it just points to another document? and don’t they have three different adjusted copies of the same thing? Without true documentation of everything, we can be sure of nothing. We have more documents relating to George Washington President of the United States, than Obama whatever he is.

    “…most military personnel are simply regular people, not angels, or demons, but normal individuals like you and I in an extraordinarily difficult position.

    For them, the search for a stable life and perhaps a college degree has led them into unjust wars based on the lies and political maneuvering of Elitists, fighting an enemy created using smoke and mirrors magic tricks and CIA compartmentalization. Now, they must fight a “war on terrorism,” a war which can never be won because anyone can be labeled a terrorist, and therefore, the enemy never disappears, he is never defeated, his face only changes from one campaign to the next.”

    The Next Fake Enemy: Homegrown Terrorists

    The move to brand anyone who opposes globalization, or anyone who supports a Constitutional foundation as a terrorist is made quite obvious in a recently leaked DHS supported document now known notoriously as the MIAC Report.

    This report was part of a wider effort by the Virginia “Fusion Center” and their work on “threat assessment.” The documents they released were so broad in their definitions of terrorism that in fact, under their guidelines, almost ANYONE could be labeled as a potential terrorist. Not only this, but the documents also set the stage for false flag attacks. There will come a day when any event, real or engineered, will be immediately accredited to “homegrown extremists” regardless of evidence.

    I read about this years ago in Chicago. To get rid of rats you get a Ratapult, something like a catapult. The rat enters something-it flips it in mid air and drops into a bucket (that it can’t get out of it was hysterical.
    http://www.bobcongdon.net/blog/2004/05/ratapult.html
    We’ve had some animal control issues in my neighborhood. The main problem has been a family of foxes. One of them was in our garage a few weeks ago. A neighbor saw one chasing a cat through their back yard. In our last house we had problems with unwanted animal guests inside the house: mice and bats. The other day we were discussing how to get rid of such pests. I was reminded of the ratapult. The idea was a trap that would fling its victim into the air, striking a wall and then dropping into a bucket. I can’t find the original reference but I did find an article from Time Magazine that mentions the ratapult. It’s a funny idea but I doubt that anyone, even in a factory setting, would accept rats flying through the air.

    We’re not talking about Obama, we’re talking about getting America back to America, and ending the Federal Reserve System.

    But I suppose that doesn’t matter. Let’s just focus on the fact he didn’t say anything, and ignore where we’re really at, and what it’s going to take to fix it.

I thought seriously about voting for him, but because of some differences that were important to me…the “inside job” theory as well as uncomfortable with some of the “Israel” stances. I certainly am not in the category of don’t ask questions and have always admired Paul’s boldness to ask questions and be who he is. If I were a one issue person and only weighed in on my pro-life stance then I woulda voted for him. I have nothing against anyone who did vote for him or didn’t.

    I agree with SueK. No one person can fix the mess and we can all only do our best and do as our conscience will allow before God and our Country. I do believe that every person here is doing the very best they can.

  217. Let’s look at how money is actually created, and at what cost. If the Federal Reserve wants to print 1,000 one-hundred ($100) bills, their total cost for ink, paper, plates, labor, etc. would be approximately $23.00 (according to Devvy Kidd in “Why A Bankrupt America”). Now, if you do the math, the total cost of 10,000 bills would be $230.00 ($.023 x 10,000). But, and here’s the catch – 10,000 $100 bills equals $1,000,000! So, the Federal Reserve can “create” a million dollars, then LEND it to the U.S. Government (with interest) for a total cost of $230.
    That’s not a bad deal, huh!
    The banking industry calls this process “seignorage.” I call it outright THEFT. Why? Well, regardless of the immense profit margin ($1,000,000 for $230), plus the huge interest payments, our government then needs to STEAL the American people’s money to payoff their debts via a Mob-like agency called the IRS. So the bankers steal from the government, then the government turns around and steals from the people. I’m no genius, but who do you think is getting screwed in this process? US – the people at the bottom rung of the ladder.

    Did Rick Perry’s Clear Channel Connections Sink Debra Medina?

    Philip Martin
    Burnt Orange Report
    Saturday, February 20, 2010

    Last week, I argued that Debra Medina was set-up by Glenn Beck and Rick Perry (“Gut Reaction: Team Rick Perry Used Glenn Beck to Attack Debra Medina”). As you’ll recall, Medina was skyrocketing in the polls — it was certain she would force a runoff, and becoming increasingly possible that she would be in that runoff herself. For Medina, a quick appearance on Glenn Beck’s radio show probably seemed like a terrific idea — Beck’s constant promotion of extreme right-wing views appealed to the type of people who were supporting Debra Medina.

    But Medina was not talking to Glenn Beck the activist — because there is no such thing. Especially not when Beck’s boss is such a major supporter of Rick Perry. According to the Texas Ethics Commission, Clear Channel CEO and Chairman Lowry Mays has donated almost $300,000 to Rick Perry.

    Clear Channel CEO Donations to Perry
    Year Donation
    2001-2002 $51,400
    2003-2004 $55,000
    2005-2006 $80,000
    2007-2008 $50,000
    2009 $50,000
    Total $286,400

    Source: Texas Ethics Commission

    Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and countless other right-wing radio station personalities are owned by Clear Channel. Beck is paid $10 million by a Clear Channel subsidiary for his radio show (Source: Forbes). Is it any surprise, then, that he ambushed Medina the way he did — and subsequently told all of his radio listeners to support Perry? After he finished his interview with Medina, Beck went on to pronounce his love for Rick Perry (Source: Radio Interview Transcript):

    GLENN: I think I can write her off the list. Let me take another look at Kay Bailey Hutchison if I have to. Rick, I think you and I could French kiss right now.

    PAT: Let me tell you something. He’s a damn handsome man.

    GLENN: He’s a damn handsome man.

    PAT: Looks good in a pair of jeans.

    GLENN: Wow.

    PAT: He’s a handsome man. GLENN: Wow. The fastest way back to 4%.

    The set-up by Beck was quickly echoed throughout the mainstream media. The Dallas Morning News went on to immediately call it a “game-ending-gaffe.” Few in the media, however, noted Perry’s financial ties to Clear Channel and Glenn Beck — or took any moments to repeat the absolutely bizarre conspiracy theories Beck puts out on his own. After all, this is Glenn Beck:

    It sadly is not surprising that violence can result when Beck proclaims that our government is marching towards fascism, or when he salivates at the thought of the rising up of a militias, or when he warns that “we are a county heading towards socialism, totalitarianism, beyond your wildest imagination”. Distrust and hatred of government are not unforeseeable results when Beck tells his audience that “everything” reported on by the traditional media “is a lie”, or when he claims that the AmericCorps bill “indoctrinates your child into community service through the federal government”. When Beck muses aloud about the various ways he could kill Michael Moore, or lashes out at the “the war against the American way”, and when he claims that the president’s budget is enslaving and “out and out evil” (more evil than extraordinary rendition, according to Beck), he cannot feign surprise if and when the seeds of hatred and panic he sows bear fruit.

    When he flatly and unequivocally states that the “destruction of the West is happening”, or when he shows photos of the president transitioning to photos of Hitler, Lenin, and Stalin and asks “is this where we’re headed?”, he is not merely playing the role, as he puts it, of the “rodeo clown.”

    Debra Medina’s gaffe — set-up by a suspicious line of questioning from an employee of one of Rick Perry’s top contributors — could end up being the turning point from the election going to a runoff to Perry winning the primary outright.

    IF YOU READ THE INTERVIEW, IT’S CLEAR THAT MS. MEDINA IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE BUT IS A LIBERTARIAN ON MOST ISSUES INCLUDING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. IN THE LAST BELO TELEVISED DEBATE, MS. MEDINA SEEMED MORE CONCERNED ABOUT “RANCHER’S RIGHTS” THAN ABOUT THE RULE OF LAW AND PREVENTING THE INVASION BY MEXICO. Familiar with your work. Aside from you I’ve never gotten a response from anyone about that info from the FTS site. Started harping on it before the election, I think at TD’s, RS’s, OC and here. So many jumped on the born-in-Kenya bandwagon, when by his own admission, he does not claim natural born status.
    \\\\\\\\\\\\\[…]/////////////

    I and many others have talked about this and pointed it out many, many times. He himself has never said or proved that he is ELIGIBLE. Furtehrmore he actually made statment that should automaticallt disqualify him if we were a country of sicko racists that use race to Erode America. He said that he was born British. He admitted that his daddy’s citizenship is the citizenship that ruled and he followed. His books are dedicated to the people he sides with the most even though the white side of the family are the ones that raised him. He was born Brittish became Kenyan along with his daddy and when he didn’t reaffirm his Kenyan citizenship as an adult HE REVERTED BACK TO BEING A BRITISH.

    That is what he is and who he is. There is no NATURAL BORN CITIZNSHIP that is why HE NEVER CLAIMED IT and manny times he actually affirmed or that he was a foreigner or LIED by Ommission. For many years they wrote about him as a Kenyan Born Barack Obama and he NEVER EVER corrected the record.

    It took 10 yrs of Mr Markopolos to write and write about Bernie Madoff and his PONZI SCHEME but nobody paid attention they were ridign the euphoric wave BUT when the SHTF they all started scrambling. There should be alot more people in jail along with Madoff especially those that NEVER HEEDED the warning.

    I would think the press and the gov’t would have learned from the Madoff debacle and Err on teh side of caution by looking “under the hood” of teh Obama Eligibility BUT no they are again riding the euphoria of having the first Arab Mooslum President and the PONZI PREZ continues making fools of most of us.

    Err on the side of Caution
    TRUST BUT VERIFY.

    If 10 or 5 yrs prior someone had heeded the warning on Madoff he wouldn’t have Made Off with 50 Billion.
    If Politicians adn THOSE PAID to protect us and the COnstitution looked into teh eligibility issue maybe our country would be getting CHANGED and Destroyed.

My new Time came yesterday-cover is Why Washington is frozen over. The article is entitled Why the Tea Party Matters by David Von Drehle. “It’s not a political party; it a grass-roots movement that expresses a VAST DISCONTENT unsettling Americans. What the Tea Partyers share-and WHY THEY’RE A POTENT FORCE.” Constitutionalist are considered conspirators in this article, touched on very lightly.

    The Courts are of no use to him unless they side with him in every dispute.

    The Congress is of no use to him unless they follow his orders.

    We the People are of no use to him unless they follow him over the cliff.

    Remember, his loyalty is NOT to America, and he has no use for the Rule of Law because he believes he is the Rule of Law!

    He envies Castro, Chavez, Mugabe, and Kim because they have total control of their countries.

    He wants to be King so I say let’s send him back to Kenya; he can be king there.

    Poll-Axed!

    Two days ago the Washington Post ran a poll that presented this statement: “Barack Obama is best suited to be: ” and asked the reader to select one of four choices — President; Senator; Supreme Court Justice; or None of the above.

    Check it out — right under the photo — the latest results are 82% for “None of the above” — and make sure you vote.

    Well, CBSNews has been running a 10-question poll, since Friday, asking the reader to: “Grade Obama’s First Year in Office.”

    The results compare to the Washington Post poll — Americans don’t like what this guy is doing — and vote at the poll too.

    Both polls say the same thing. Americans hold Obama and his performance in low regard — the respondents to the CBS News poll really oppose ObamaCare — and the people visiting these two sites could hardly be described as conservative or right-wing.

    Support Slips Among 18-to-29 Year Olds
    Politics Daily reports one of the factors that fueled the resurgence of the Democrats in the 2006 midterms and particularly Obama’s 2008 campaign was the enthusiastic backing of the “Millennial” generation — voters between 18 and 29. But a Pew Research Center study says that the Democrats’ advantage over Republicans with this group has dramatically shrunk from a 32 point margin in 2008 to 14 points.Support Slips Among 18-to-29 Year Olds
    These numbers include both those who identify with one of the two parties, or lean towards one or the other.
    The figures come from an ongoing series of reports Pew is doing, based on data it and others have collected from from May 1990 to December 2009, comparing the Millenials to past generations, such as the Gen-Xers, Baby Boomers and Silent Generation (1928-1945). The reports cover not only political characteristics of the generations, but where they differ in areas including religion, social mores, and their use of media. You can find all the reports published so far here.

  254. JJ, they got to him. the power people don’t want an outsider in office. Does anyone know if her numbers are going down. No one is taking a poll and I find that very interesting. Why is no one polling Texas??? No one is talking about Texas and it is monumental. I tell I heard the republicans are going to run Rick Perry for Potus and Sarah for VP.

  255. Idea for a Great Bumper Sticker…

    OBAMA NEEDS TO QUIT

    Thanks prwh

  256. RON PAUL is a socialist, there is well documented evidence, he is not the constitutionalist he claims to be — he stated on video he believes DRUGS & PROSTITUTION should be legalized in the U.S.A. America must clean up the corruption – not make it easier to commit more crimes/sins. I don’t want excuses as his justifications – Paul is WRONG. Sin is Sin. Clearly he is moving for the young voters approval. Thank God there are enough Christian adults in the U.S.A., who want to protect young minds from the poison kool aid Paul is serving. I thought Glen Beck was the pided piper – Ron Paul & Beck are two peas in a pod. Obviously The South is not a brain surgeon or rocket scientist.

    1. Legalization of Drugs/Prostitution is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. There is a much easier solution to those two problems. If Paul were so smart – he would have figured that easy fix out by now. 30 years experience & all.
    Paul is a Hollywood actor in the wrong profession. Politics is a “blood sport”. To bad Paul didn’t figure that out after 30 years experience.

    Now for the BIGGEST ISSUE!

    RON PAUL – ONE LONG YEAR AGO, this pillar of the community (Mr. “I want to legalized drugs/prostitution for the young folks” – so they will VOTE for me) was approached to warn the public of the usurper ineligibility issue. Which means he was aware before the public heard & could have stopped this crisis DEAD in it’s tracks. So quit crying foul, that R. Paul, the master manipulator has worked for 30 years to save my country – because he had the rare opportunity to SAVE OUR COUNTRY & he took the COWARDLY way out. One year ago Paul was EXPOSED online for not touching the usurper issue but had he bravely stood up & notified “we the people” – he would have been an American hero. McCain also sold his country out one year ago & we voted for him because he could have done the presidents job in his sleep. Both Paul & McCain ARE PROGRESSIVES & our country has nearly been destroyed thanks to these greedmongers. We expected more from a war hero like McCain but hey the guy owns 10 homes & can’t even remember how many. McCain should enjoy retirement.

    Americans will be putting true conservatives to represent us in D.C.

    Lt. Colonel Allen West meets ALL the requirements, is running for office in Florida but many of us are encouraging him to run for President in 2010. Lt. Col. West is not the only U.S. military individuals we are encouraging to run………….

    Also News Flash for The South – your are arrogantly trying to shove Ron Paul down America’s throsts. Both Paul & you just lost.

    Think before you attack citizens for speaking the truth. If not mistaken Paul’s son is running in Ky. My guess is RP wants to give his son a smooth ride to the White House like the Kennedy’s did. R. Paul is way too soft to be president of the U.S.A.

    France, Holland & Canada are all socialist countries – maybe Paul would be happier moving to one of those countries.

    Note to The South – I MERELY PASSED FACTS & strong opinions – so don’t even bother trying to claim I trashed your best buddy R.Paul –

    Anybody who doesn’t know this fact – Romney is a master business genius & highly intelligent – this man could straighten out all the fraud which has been running rampant for too long. I hope he gets a position in D.C. – he would be a great asset.

    Paul’s 74 years is starting to wear on him………don’t think he would be good to responding on those 3 a.m. phone calls.

    A Peek Inside the Bloom Box5 Comments Read Story February 19, 2010 12:31 PM
    In the world of energy, the Holy Grail is a power source that’s inexpensive and clean. Lesley Stahl gets an inside look at one inventor’s “energy machine.” 60 Minutes, Sunday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. ET/PT
    CBS) For the past year and a half, several large California corporations have been secretly testing the “Bloom Box,” a potentially revolutionary fuel-cell system. Confirming this for the first time, several of the companies report this system is a more efficient, clean, and cost effective way to get electricity than off the power grid.
    John Donahoe, CEO of E-bay, confirms Bloom Boxes were installed at his corporate campus nine months ago. The company says the boxes already saved them over $100,000 in electricity bills. “It’s been very successful thus far. [The Bloom Boxes] have done what they said they would do,” says Donahoe. The five boxes are able to produce five times as much electricity as the 3,248 solar panels that E-bay installed on its campus roofs, says the CEO. “The footprint for Bloom is much more efficient,” he tells Stahl.
    Stahl is the first journalist to be allowed into the Bloom Energy lab and factory where currently one box a day is built. The boxes create electricity by a chemical process that utilizes oxygen and fuel, but involves no combustion. Bloom’s founder and CEO, K.R. Sridhar, insists all the materials in the box are cheap and available in abundance. Bloom says each large box – which can power about 100 homes – currently sells for $700-800,000. They hope within five to 10 years to roll out a smaller home version for about $3,000 a unit.

  261. Something to stew on:

    I hate “Conspiracy Theories” – they polute the water that all the rest of us must swim in. By definition a Conspiracy Theorist is one who ‘knows’ the answer to a difficult condrum.

    Examples of Conspiracy Theories include:

    TRUTHERS: Believing that 9/11 was an inside job.

    BIRTHERS: Beliving Obama was born in Kenya.

    Unfortunately, these disparaging names are assigned by other people. YOU/WE do not get to define them. Just like the word nigger. It is defined by hate and put down. The only way to fix this problem is to not use these words and to demand that they be removed from polite conversation.

    Also, we need to take the conversation up a notch. We need to quit evangelizing that we have the answer. We do not. Only questions.

    I wish we could all agree to the following, which I believe to be non-controversial and self-evident. And continue to take the moral highground and quit wading in crap.

    1. The 9/11 report is flawed and incomplete. Much truth about the events of that day, and leading up to it, has yet to be made public.

    2. We do not know anything about Obama’s background and circumstances of birth. Most of the information has been withheld, and much if not all of what is available is highly suspicious.

    Just stop right there. Now (Glenn Beck, are you listening?) question boldly.

    Off soapbox now.

  262. I read the Morrison interview,did not see anything alarming or unreasonable. US Borderwatch is supporting Medina. She does not want Fed programs like E-Verify she wants voter rolls cleaned up and to deny illegals drivers liscenses in the first place.She respects private property rights and the Texans who have been litigated against for detaining illegals who have violated their property. She wants to manage the problem as much as able from a state-driven set of solutions.
    Kay Bailey supported Obama’s funding of Americorps and Dream Act. Perry supports eminent domain.

  271. For those who like Ron Paul, while I admire his guts for speaking against Obama, the truth is that he doesn’t have the polish, looks or mass appeal to win. If the GOP even thinks of nominating Ron Paul, we’ll lose to Obama by a large margin. A candidate has to have the total package. Same with Pawlenty or Newt. There is just no excitement to them. My problem is that I’d like to see a new exciting candidate out there. I like Palin. I could like Gov. Perry. I’d like to see more candidates like them out there.

  272. If there was real justice in this world, every politican would be in prison. No one except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of this adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible for the office of president. No One is above the Law. Vote out every last one of them. Investigate them all, check there bank accounts ect…

  273. We have to find in the GOP or Tea Party a candidate with mass appeal outside of the good old boys club. Otherwise, we won’t attract women, Jewish voters or Hispanics. We have to attract a broader group to win against Obama. Putting any energy into trying to nominate Newt, Ron Paul, or Pawlenty could just be a huge waste of time. The GOP can’t waste this moment.

  274. tina,

    Where has polish, looks and mass appeal got us? How’s that hope and change thing working out for you?

  275. This isn’t American Idol. This is for the rule of law, not men.

  276. Hope and change isn’t working out and neither would putting any hope into a Ron Paul run. It would be very foolish. And while we need substance in a candidate, they have to have the full package. Look at what McCain had to go through in being called old and McCain is a pretty good looking guy for his age and a war hero. Ron Paul will be laughed at by most of America. We shouldn’t even go there. We need a candidate with the total package or we’ll lose. Ron Paul is a huge egomaniac to even think he’d win, but of course most politicians are.

  277. Ron Paul can be the voice of for many folks just as Barry Goldwater was, but he will never win. It’s sad people are even getting their hopes up about Ron Paul. If Palin was considered a joke, Ron Paul will be even more of one. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. We need a strong candidate.

  278. Hi Linda,

    That article by Krauthammer is a powerhouse on so many levels (I may have posted it here yesterday), that one could respond to it on so many levels. I’ll try to keep it brief.

    First of all, this article demonstrates so well why I respect this man’s point of view, even if I don’t always agree (btw I seldom disagree).

    He demonstrates an intellectual rigor that allows him to navigate the political waters and discern that which is salient to make his points. He does this exceedingly well.

    He refrains from tainting his arguments (as much as any human being can) with his own personal ambitions. This is why he can invoke any person and/or events to frame his points. His focus is on the individual, not the party, not the colour of one’s skin, not the gender and so on.

    I will now use this argument to address the subject matter at hand and I’ll do it in the same manner.

    Every organization is governable, whether it is a household, a nation or the globe. The question is who is at the helm. I’m not a historian, but Churchill brought England when it was at its knees to stupifying victory.

    So to round out the discussion, if statesmen had an iota of Krauthammer’s clarity of vision that did not encompass hardcore ideological convictions, rationalized to eternity, the state is governable. If they had the moral structure to suppress their personal ambitions the state is governable. If they had a connectedness to the people they would in essence be able to take the complex political structure at hand and forge a governable state. Not a perfectly governed state, but a state that could be governed.

  279. The other issue with Ron Paul is he’s an anti-semite. We stand at a cross roads of trying to get Jewish voters to go with the GOP because Obama is a Muslim and proven to be against Israel. If the GOP can show that they stand strong with Israel as Bush did, it could be a huge shift in demographics towards the GOP with Jewish voters. Ron Paul would chase Jewish voters away. So if you want substance, this is a huge reason to stay away from Ron Paul.

  280. I like Krauthammer too.

  281. Ronald Reagan was tall, fairly good looking, and a great communicator. Obama is tall, fairly good looking, and a great communicator. I think polls have often shown that the tallest man typically wins. We need someone who believes what Reagan believed who has the total package. Obama didn’t win because he was experienced. It’s sad, but it’s what we’re facing in this modern world.

  282. Maybe that’s why this modern world is in the shape it is.
    Off to a tea party meeting, I’ll leave this blog to the american idol voter.

  283. Kim. I know it’s a shame, but it’s the truth. We have to operate in today’s world. I didn’t vote for Obama. I voted for substance and experience in McCain. I pray the GOP and/or Tea Party gets the right person.

    Also, to Jewish voters, the Democrats are the party for the Jews and the GOP is the party of the Christians. We have to shift that to say the GOP is the party of people with Jewish and Christian values who stand by Israel. Ron Paul does not support Israel. He won’t be a good candidate.

    Your summary puts it all into perspective so eloquently. What a talent you have!

    Thanks for so succinctly presenting your summary view…You are a blessing!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_fuel_cell
    California
    Combined heat and power (CHP) fuel cells have demonstrated superior efficiency for years in industrial plants, universities, hotels and hospitals. Residential and small-scale commercial fuel cells are now becoming available to fulfill both electricity and heat demand from one system. Fuel cell technology in a compact system converts natural gas, propane, and eventually biofuels – into both electricity and heat. In the future, new developments in fuel cell technologies will likely allow these power systems to run off of biomass instead of natural gas, directly converting a home fuel cell into a renewable energy technology
    In California in particular, utilities charge higher per kWh rates as energy consumption rises above established baselines – with the top tier set at the highest rates to discourage consumption at those levels. Home fuel cells reduce customer exposure to the top tier rates, saving homeowners as much as 45% in reduced annual energy costs.[3]
    Further information: Micro combined heat and power and Fuel cell
    Home fuel cells is a new market and represents a fundamental shift in the sourcing of energy. An individual home fuel cell system installed in a US home becomes a part of the bigger picture of U.S. energy independence. An ultimate benefit of home fuel cells will be to eventually create networks of micro-CHP systems distributed throughout communities and business parks. This self-generation of energy in a distributed generation approach that will secure and increase US power generating capacity, enabling unused electricity to be sent back to the grids without having to add new power plants and transmission lines. Putting a home fuel cell system into homes has the potential to get people off-the-grid, play a significant role in energy efficiency, and reduce US dependence on foreign energy imports.

    Good afternoon, friends.

    At this point, I am not sure who I would want as President. My number one requirement would be that they believe in and adhere to the Constitution of the United States of America.

    I will make my decision after I have heard some debates and read their position papers. I just know I do NOT want another carter, clinton or obama.

  304. Tina, Speaking of anti-semite, do you or anyone here know about Medina in this regard?

  305. I read on another blog that Glenn Blech’s statement that the best way to plant Democracy is by example, is simply not true and very naive. I agree. While I think that our security interest should come first and foremost, if it leads us elsewhere, it’s simply a fact that insane dictators are not going to relinquish power no matter how well our Republic runs. Interesting that he also said that other Countries want to kick our butts cuz it’s just the way the world is. Geesh, he’s just all over the board!

    The freedom this Country experiences(what’s left of it)didn’t come about by “example” but hard fought blood and tears.

    Also thought it interesting the lecture of how Blech didn’t wanna hear about people’s childhoods only to go into his own little schpeel about his own! Can anyone say “bi-polar”?

    Don….The #1 issue in getting someone in 2012 elected will be who is going to move us away from our dependence on foreign oil….we ship in two-thirds of our oil in from people who don’t like us much…..not good……another reason to like Palin…..she will do this….besides clean out the Rino’s and the best reason of all….she is Pro-Life and believes in the rights of all humanity…..even the most innocent in the womb!!!

  307. Ron Paul’s not an anit-semite (the stuff people come up with).

    He (as does James Traficant) knows that some in power in Israeli politics has a strong strangle hold on American foreign policy, and it has to come to an end.

    That’s not being an anti-semite, it’s being an American.

    As far as Debra Medina being an anti-semite,

    I don’t know, but I’m sure you could email her at her site, and she’d be glad to answer the question.

    If I was betting, I’d say she takes the same stance as Dr.Paul on Israelis encroachment in our foreign policy.

    People have to learn the difference between being an anti-semite (i.e. someone who hates jews),

    and being an anti-Israeli Government Officials calling shots for American foreign policy.

    Those opposing Israeli involvement in our foreign policy decisions are doing a good thing.

    Their not against the “Israeli people as a whole”, their against “The Israeli Gov’t” (i.e. those in charge) strong holding American politics.

    BIG DIFFERENCE!

  308. JS, I agree about Palin. So far, for me, she is the most logical person for what the country’s current needs are. The energy issues…she’s basically an expert on this with a pro-USA approach. And her pro-life stance is extremely important to me also, along with her dedication to the special needs. I like that she’s not into LAWS so much as she is in educating people that special needs are no threat and no need to be so hostile towards them and their families.

    Personally, haven’t found much not to like about her. Not perfect, but that’s good as we’ve been down the road of people worshiping a “perfect Messiah” and we all know where that has led us!

    I agree that we should move away from dependence on foreign oil, however if they violate the Constitution on any other matter or even attempts to violate it, that is worse than depending on foreign oil.

    I would make your idea as number 2 or 3. But, number one is still believing in and adhering to the U.S. Constitution.

    Glad you came back to the article because there are many levels. This may be the one you were looking for:

    Krauthammer in his uninimacle style ( he has the grace to deliver a blow, feeling like you’ve been poked with a toothpick, all the while wondering from where the blood emanates) confronts Obama on several fronts. This is why Ani wrote this piece.

    The first and perhaps the most damning indictment is the observation that Obama, unlike his Democratic compatriots, eg. Clinton, lacks executive experience, depth of knowledge and political acumen to govern despite a “tyranny of entitlements” and a “corrupt system of taxation”.

    Krauthammer continues in that venue, by stating that special interests groups, again a malignant nodal point of the “system”, is overcome by skilled statesmen, who can rally the citizenry because they are attuned to the people. Again as I said earlier, Obama is an excellent example of a president not connected to the people.

    Thirdly, he points out that Obama uses the poorly veiled complaint that the complex structures of Senate impede his ability to govern. That one is a direct and unyeilding blow to Obama’s narcissism IMHO.

    Ultimately of course Krauthammer is making the necessary observation that the system works because of its complexity. When you have somebody as ill prepared, as ideological and as narcissistic as Obama, the complexity of the sytem will ensnare its enemy.

    FinallyAni highlights, through Krauthammer’s skill assessment of many Democratic politicians that they and Obama simply do belong on the same political page.

    Skillfully done both by Ani and Krauthammer.

  311. I’d like to suggest that the focus and energies of freedom loving Americans be put on the 2010 elections, rather than disagreeing about or promoting a candidate for President. If we don’t put a major kink in the liberals/progressives power this year, it won’t matter what happens in 2012.

    I encourage you to please look into your local elections process. Many of you can be/should be participating in the caucus/primary process to have a say in WHO gets on the ballot in your local and state elections.

    I write this as a person who has had a SERIOUS wake-up call – I failed to do my duty in years past, but that changed this year.

    To argue about Palin, or Paul, or Romney or Huckabee or anyone else right now seems to be a waste of time and energy. It distracts from the real work we all need to be doing to – as CW so wisely put it, “RIGHT THE SHIP. We can focus on SCRAPING THE BARNACLES LATER!”

    You all have helped to create a blog that has had, and will continue to have, a major impact on informing and educating us like few other places in America.

    Let’s use this resource to help get America back to the Constitutional Republic she was born to be.

    Let’s roll.

    ticktock and Don….adhering to the Constitution is a given…..I would never support a candidate that didn’t believe in the Constitution and following it….Palin understands that our rights come from our Creator…that is #1 in my book and her actions show us that she believes that all life whether inside or outside the womb has a right to be born….a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…..that is not what anyone in this present administration understands….they think their rights come from a FRAUD in our house!!

    Also…..if I was Palin I sure would not be supporting Rand Paul…..not after the stuff his father Ron said about her…..I would tell him to take a flying leap off of the tallest building…but that is just me…..Palin seems to be much more tolerant of people than I could be!!!

    I agree Katie…..2010 is here and we must get the most conservative candidates to represent us in Washington…..no more of these progressives……Dems or Repubs…..must be for the people and stop the spending!!!!

  315. Katie, Hopefully we’ll be looking at electing a new prez before 2012. Thru peaceful resolutions of course. I agree that the 2010 elections should be the main focus.

    I like to discuss the pros and cons of certain people, but am aware that not a one of them are running nor do we know if they will, and some are simply private citizens anyway. I think we’re all just battin’ stuff around. “Chewin’ fat”. 🙂

    Here’s to an amazing 2010 election cycle!

  316. Below is an email sent to me by a friend who also likes C Krauthammer….he is one of a kind and very astute in what he believes and says….I really like his commentaries!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Interesting commentary from Charles Krauthammer.

    It’s better to be paralyzed from the neck down, than to be paralyzed from the neck up…

    Dr. Charles Krauthammer

    Dr. Krauthammer is on Fox News. He is an M.D. and a lawyer and is paralyzed from the neck down. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in a closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand but 1st. The ramifications are staggering for us, our children and their children.

    Last Monday was a profound evening, Dr. Charles Krauthammer spoke to the Center for the American Experiment. He is a brilliant intellectual, seasoned & articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a fiscal conservative, and has received a Pulitzer Prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post.

    The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have summarized his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally.

    Even 2 Dems at my table agreed with everything he said! If you feel like forwarding this to those who are open minded and have not drunk the Kool-Aid, feel free.

    Summary of his comments:

    1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a cool customer who doesn’t show his emotions. It’s very hard to know what’s behind the mask. The taking down of the Clinton dynasty was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.

    2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he’s on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!

    3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can’t be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada .

    4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal government. He doesn’t care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal.. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada . God forbid!

    5. He has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can’t work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he’s a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.

    6.. Obama doesn’t really see himself as President of the United States , but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America , as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!

    7. He is now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not come due until after he is reelected in 2012. He would like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.

    8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. Republicans are pining for another Reagan, but there will never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she is to be a serious candidate in the future.. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and state’s rights..

    9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don’t have. This could lead to hyperinflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn’t work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama’s allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.

    10. The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of change caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was..

    11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it’s under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it’s between 8-10%, it will be a dogfight. It will all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what’s
    happening in Washington and Congress. There is a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance.. The work will be hard, but we’re right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it’s far too late.

    Do yourself a long term favor, send this to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture. All our futures and children’s futures depend on our good understanding of what is really going on in DC, and our action pursuant to that understanding!! It really IS up to each of us to take individual action!! Start with educating your friends and neighbors!!! But if you do not care to participate in educating the populace…just delete this message, it’s ok with me.

    Perfect analysis! That is why I like Ani and of course, Krauthammer. She understands him so well and has the unique ability to combine several aspects, analogies, and complexities of the situation into one interwoven masterpiece.

    When one breaks his brilliance into pieces, we are able to observe “from above” the operative aspects of his astute observations through Ani.

  322. Check Out This Poll

    The Washington Post is running an article entitled, “Supreme Court Justice Barack Obama?” that suggests that Barack Obama has the qualities that make him well suited to be a Supreme Court justice.

    OK! OK! The writer, Jeffrey Rosen, has obviously drunk the Kool-Aid, but what’s really cool is the poll attached to this love letter.

    It presents this statement: “Barack Obama is best suited to be: ” and asks you to select one of four choices — President; Senator; Supreme Court Justice; or None of the above.

    The results (2/21) are just too delicious. Check it out here — right under the photo — make sure you vote.

  329. Just a little humor….some of you here may have already heard this one but it’s cute anyway!! 🙂

    George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die
    and go to hell.

    While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the
    phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to
    Earth.

    Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he was
    finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so
    Putin writes him a check.

    Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes.
    When she was finished the devil informs her that cost is 6
    million dollars, so Queen Elizabeth writes him a check.

    Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours.
    When he was finished the devil informed him that there would be
    no charge for the call and feel free to call the USA anytime.

    When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil
    why Bush got to call the USA free.

    The devil replied, “Since Obama became president of the USA ,
    the country has gone to hell, so naturally it’s a local call.”

    I think JustMe was right when she said upholding the Constitution will fall in large part on the sheriffs’ shoulder in not allowing confiscation of arms. A measure of man’s/woman’s right to protect him/herself. I hope most will follow your lead.

  332. Ron Paul, and his new friend Michael Steel.

    Even old Michael’s pulling his head out of his ass. Even though, I think he’s still clueless of the Creature From Jekyl Island and the real working of the Fed.

    http://www.dailypaul.com/node/126393

    Finally after 30 years, Ron Paul has woke up degenerate law makers to the fact we need to

    END THE FEDERAL RESERVE.

    He now has 317 co-sponsors on his bill HR-1207 to audit the Fed.

    No other politician will touch the Fed situation with a 10ft. pole.

    Their either afraid of assassination, or they’re profiting behind the scenes from the illegal actions of the Federal Reserve.

    He’s the ONLY Congressman that’s voted NO on every single Un-Constitutional bill to come before him.

    The ONLY one.

    If Ron Paul becomes President in 2012, you will no longer pay an income tax.

    I don’t think we can say that for Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Jim Demint, et al.

    None of them even understand the Fed, more less, what it will take to end it, or why we should even end it.

    List me another politician (take your time) that stands on this platform…

    If you elect me, I’ll ..

    1. End The Federal Reserve
    2. End the IRS
    3. End the ATF
    4 .End the BATF
    5. End the CIA
    6. End the Dept. of Homeland Security
    7. End the Dept. of Education
    8. End the illegal wars and bring troops home
    9. End Amnesty for illegals
    10. End Unconstitutional Gun Laws
    11. End the property tax
    12. End the Patriot Act
    13. End the welfare state

    And I could go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on ………

    List me ONE other politician that’s willing to take on this beast.

    Just one

    Half of one

    Good luck!

    Ron Paul’s not just another talking head politician, he’s a true FREEDOM FIGHTER for LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL.

    I don’t know about anyone else on this blog, but I’m sick and tired of sending The Federal Reserve Bankers 40% of my paycheck every month.

    End the Fed, and it all goes away. You keep it all, 100% of your check.

    Find me another politician that’s willing to do that for you.

    You might have to dig up some graves from 1776.

    In case you haven’t heard, there’s a huge political shift in this country to audit and End The Fed.

    I don’t think Mr. Paul would have any trouble getting his agenda through 🙂

  340. “The people of the United States have been attacked by their own government.

    In response “WE THE PEOPLE” organized groups known as “Tea Parties.”

    The 111th congress and 2008 president elect (?) thought they were going to simply ignore us, however, once we gained a majority they were forced to listen.

    They listened, then they lied, and we responded, “We do not trust this president or congress and nothing you can do will ever change that now.”

    Now we are under attack again, they are infiltrating our movements in an effort to destroy us from the inside all over again. We cannot allow this to continue. All Tea Parties and all organized Conservative groups
    must not allow any person who has held office in the past, regardless of party affiliation, to assume any active leadership role. Think about
    it, we have experienced their leadership, do we want to go through all we have been through just to end up where we started?

    November 2006 the United States government ceased to represent American citizens and began representing the 111th congress. With total and
    complete disregard and abandonment of the Peoples’ Constitution this congress set a new agenda, an agenda which has done more to damage our great nation than all the wars we have ever fought. An agenda aimed at taking over every citizens rights and ability to make their own choices for themselves and their families.

    November 2008 our nation witnessed the most corrupt election in our two hundred thirty four year history. An election in which voters were
    forcibly removed from voting stations against their will and without being able to cast their vote. An election so corrupt that citizens from
    other countries were shipped in only to cast their vote for the democrat party, get paid and be sent back home. An election so corrupt
    that votes cast by people who had been dead for years were counted for the democrat candidate. An election so corrupt that many votes cast by
    deployed American service men and women were not counted. An election so corrupt that it destroyed what, at one time, was a semi respectful mass media industry. Most reporters for American news broadcasters prostituted themselves to a candidate who to this date is still not legitimately qualified to hold the office of President of the United States.

    If you are a conservative Patriot who wants to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America and defend Freedom and Liberty, then your help is urgently needed. You all know our Constitution, our Freedom, and our Liberty are under attack from within
    our great nation. For the first time in our history we are faced with government occupied by individuals bent on the destruction of our
    Constitution as well as abolishing Liberty and Freedom. These same individuals believe that they are deified. They have elevated themselves
    to a position where they feel entitled to rule rather than lead. Their belief is that American citizens are not constituents they are subjects
    with an obligation to obey their commands.

    It is important that you, if you are reading this, that means you, get this message out to any conservative groups you are aware of. Career
    politicians are using conservatives efforts to create the impression that this legislature and administration are a part of the “Tea Party
    Movement” thus advancing the very liberal agenda we are fighting. Please do not let this happen!

    What you have read above is only a very very brief account of all the illegal, unethical, and criminal activities this president and congress
    are guilty of.”

    It’s very hard for one man to push through legislation, when there’s 434 others who are to corrupt to support it.

    Of course no one want to support Ron Paul’s ideas, he’s fighting for LIBERTY.

    I wonder why Dr. Paul seeks the truth? Maybe he’s smart enough to know their hiding something, and wants the truth.

    Here’s what people think of Ron Paul the truther, he won the CPAC vote this year.

    Here’s another example of what people feel about the ‘truther’ Ron Paul.

    http://youpolls.com/details.asp?pid=7013

    As far as hurting Medina’s campaign: have you seen her donations, news appearances, facebook page, polls lately?

    Since Beck little stunt of calling her a truther, she’s gaining ground like a freight train.

    He did her a favor.

    Maybe being a truther isn’t such a bad thing.

  349. Ron Paul has some really good issues that he tackles. Where he lost me was during the Pres. election when he ran but did NOT bring up the question of Obama’s Constitutional ineligibility. He could have asked for the truth, could have pressed for the truth later in Congress, but he did not. He fell into the same basket as all the others. So despite his stance as a Libertarian, he really is not much different when it counts. Lump him in with your self expressed villain Palin, and Romney, McCain, HRC, etc. None of them were willing to point out the elephant in the room called eligibility to be POTUS. Obama is not eligible to be POTUS under the law of the Constitution. End of story.

  350. By the way, did anyone hear the boos at CPAC when the results of the straw poll were announced? I don’t think Paul was the most popular winner. He is a good man and he does have some good ideas (like end the Fed) but he is not in the same league as a viable candidate as others out there who will become more in the forefront as we get closer to 2012. Way too early to make any guesses at this point anyway. I hope he continues to work hard in the Congress for the near future supporting conservative ideas and agenda.

  351. South….Paul and many others let the country down when it came to standing up for the Constitution early on before the FRAUD took office….Palin couldn’t do it…..McCain and Paul could have….it took one Senator and one Congressman….the two of them together could have asked for the FRAUD to unseal his records…they still can…..but neither are doing anything……Palin is a mere citizen and was a governor she could not force the question because she had nothing to do with the process and what you posted above is not what she said…..I heard her speak when she said that citizens have every right to question the FRAUD’s citizenship…..as Palin says…..QUIT MAKING THINGS UP!!!!

  352. Here’s what people think of Ron Paul the truther, he won the CPAC vote this year.

    Here’s another example of what people feel about the ‘truther’ Ron Paul.

    *********************************************
    South….this CPAC vote means nothing….the election is in 2012 and it is only 2010….also…Romney won it 3 years in a row and never got the nomination and McCain came in 5th and won…..so don’t put too much stock in this unscientific vote!

    *******************************************

    I just read where supporters pulled out there support for her….I think someone posted it here….I hope she wins but if she was smart she would deny even being associated to the “truther” nonsense….it will only hurt her in the end because the majority of the country doesn’t think like the Communist Van Jones!

  354. I heard her speak when she said that citizens have every right to question the FRAUD’s citizenship…..as Palin says…..QUIT MAKING THINGS UP!!!!

    Sarah Palin Goes ‘Birther’: Obama Birth Certificate ‘A Fair Question’ (VIDEO)

    Sarah Palin declared on Thursday that the legitimacy of President Obama’s birth certificate is “rightfully” an issue with the American public, and that it is “fair game” for politicians to question Obama’s citizenship.

    The comments came during an interview with conservative radio host Rusty Humphries, who asked Palin whether she planned to “make the birth certificate an issue” if she runs for president in 2012.

    “I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue,” Palin said. “I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers.”

    Humphries — who began the interview with a rendition of the song “Sarah, Queen Of The Wild Frontier” — followed up: “Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?”

    “I think it’s a fair question just like I think past associations and past voting records. All of that is fair game,” Palin responded, adding that “the McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area. We didn’t call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were, and perhaps what their future plans were, and I don’t think that was fair to voters to not have done our job as candidates and a campaign to bring to light a lot of things that now we’re seeing manifest in the administration.”

    Palin later referenced “that weird conspiracy theory freaky thing that people talk about that Trig isn’t my real son, and a lot of people that went ‘Well, you need to produce his birth certificate, you need to prove that he’s your kid,’ which we have done, but yeah, so maybe we can reverse that, and use the same [inaudible] thinking on the other one.”

    Congratulations to Team USA’s men’s hockey team for a sensational game this evening. We needed this! It made us so proud to be fans of this team, this sport, and this great country. America’s Olympic team of hard working, selfless team players – with no individual superstars – is an inspiring story for all. Now on to the next chapter in this great sports story… Go Team USA!

    – Sarah Palin

    *******************************************

    For the record…..Palin has nearly 1.5Million fans on facebook and growing bigger each day…..not to mention that within 30 minutes of her last post she had over 6,000 people who liked what she wrote and another 550 who had made a comment to her about it….I would say she is pretty well liked!

    lmao!

    1.5 million fans on facebook means she knows how to get us out of the mess I’ve listed above?

    lmao!

    Just because people like her doesn’t mean she knows jack squat about the problems we’ve got, and/or how to deal with them.

    Elvis was popular too, but he sure as hell couldn’t run the country.

    I’m going to bed, I can’t the American Idol syndrome anymore tonight.

  383. I’m slow but average back home. Think Palin has a lot better chance being President than Paul. A governor has lots more ecperience than a senator. Look at Steve/Barry/Barak.

    Rocknee…..You got that one right…..WTH has Ron Paul ever run and all I keep reading is how he has been fighting for our freedom for 30 years……he knows nothing about the Constitution that’s for sure or he would be doing something about the FRAUD in our house…..he has the power to investigate and demand the FRAUD’s records…..Deal already wrote a letter…..Paul just has to push the issue…..he won’t though because he is a coward just like the rest of them!!!

    What you can’t take is the truth…..Palin has the executive experience to run the country where Paul has none…..and as a Congressman he has done nothing to prove he can get anything done!!! Palin has proven her expertise in energy and I would say she knows a lot more about the Constitution than Paul…..at least she says the citizens have every right to question the FRAUD’S citizenship because it is still hanging out there as an issue….he won’t even open his mouth about it because he says it is NUTS….isn’t that the same thing you all are accusing BECK of…..I’d say Paul is a hypocrite!!

    First of all I am very doubtful that Soetoro would ever have the gonads necessary to confront Iran with a war. He is primarily a coward, and will look for anyway he can to keep from having to open another front. Besides he no longer has the money he would need to begin another war.
    There is a far more serious question which is would Soetoro stand, and defend the US as necessary if we are attacked, or will
    he crawl under something, and try to hide. I am betting on the latter. He would toss it all into the laps of the joint chiefs, and then dissappear.
    Iran will probably have their little firecrackers operational soon. Ahmadinajad thinks that he can threaten the world with his toys. What he fails to realise is that he is where the US was in 1945. In the interim the US has developed some toys that will turn his little toys into dust along with all of his moron IRANI JANI friends. You see the US has another level of nuclear weapons that CANCEL out IRAN even before he tries something. The class of weapons that I am talking about are THERMO nuclear weapons. They are the KINGS OF WARFARE. So far only TWO COUNTRIES have active thermo nuclear weapons .The US, and RUSSIA. These are not rated in KILOTONS, they are rated in MEGATONS. They incinerate first then blow away the residue. In addition they leave a very broad piece of realestate uninhabitable because of radiation which would persist for over 50 years. This is the half life of Cesium 137,which is one of the precipitants of thermo nuclear fission. If three 30 meg H bombs(thermo) were strategically dropped over Iran the largest portion of the Iranian population would DISSAPEAR. They would be incinerated where they are standing, then their residual ashes blown away. The surface of the ground will be turned into glass, and wiped clean. So when Ahmadinajad starts BLOWING about what a bad ass he thinks he is we need to demonstrate one or two of our thermo nuclear WHUPPASS toys; and let him get a taste of the flavor of our kind of toys………if anybody can still find him.

    Reporting from Washington – Senate Republicans relented Sunday and said they would attend President Obama’s bipartisan healthcare summit this week after all, but the chamber’s GOP leader is far from resigned to the Democrats’ idea of cooperation on the hot-button issue.

    Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said he and his members wouldn’t boycott the president’s meeting set for Thursday and that he’d come ready to participate “in good faith.”

    But he said Democrats were still being “arrogant” in their refusal to throw out current legislation and start over from scratch on a bipartisan compromise, as Republicans have asked. — more —

    Ummmm. Maybe you have to follow through on your demand that they start from scratch instead of just saying, “Oh, you won’t start over, you arrogant Senators, you. Oh well, we’ll come anyway. ”

    “good faith?” You haven’t been paying attention this whole last year? There is nothing good to have faith in about obama’s deathcare or about the way he and the dems have forced the issue down America’s throat.

    What’s good faith about pushing through unwanted legislation at midnight on Christmas Eve?

    What about “good faith” for the American people? Good faith for the American people is saying NO and meaning NO.

    no incumbents . . . no dems . . . . no politicians

  413. OldSalt 12:18 am,

    Thanks for that important piece of military info. While I don’t doubt America’s military dominance, the planet cannot withstand WWIII, let alone a nuclear one.

    You’ve already mentioned that Russia has similar capacity. Russia and China are both vying for Iranian oil. An attack on Iran will spark consequences of the most serious nature for the world at large and I think that’s the point of the narrator in the video.

    I agree that Obama doesn’t have the inclination, nor the wherewithal to launch a first strike, but he’s not in command. His puppetmasters are and if necessary he will either be blackmailed and/or threatened to carry out their orders.

    These are frightening times. Let’s please continue with discussing the serious matters of the day.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Friends and foes alike. I’m regularly asked the ignorant, biased-laden question: How can you possibly be gay and a conservative (or Republican).
    Aside from my believing in First Principles trump everything (Declaration of Independence and US Constitution as foundational documents) and my rejection of identity politics, it is my strong belief in America’s individual liberty and freedom and free enterprise that makes me a conservative.
    But watch this video. It is former Ohio Rep. Bob McEwen “speaking at CPAC 2010 where he delivered an outstanding presentation on Basic Economics and why Free Market Principles are essential to maintaining prosperity and freedom in America. He does a truly outstanding job, and explains it in language anyone can understand.” (Thanks to Freedom’s Lighthouse for the video).
    (video is at the website posted above)
    By showing this video, I will no longer be answering the previous referenced question. If you don’t have the time to watch this, I will not have the time to discuss my political philosophy with you.
    That is why THIS is the most important video I’ve ever posted. McEwen is a rock star. Thank you, sir.
Unless she comes out boldly on immigration and the fact that no economy can survive welfare combined with open borders she is no better than the rest.     Initially I was responding to a comment that someone made that the US would invade Iran. I simply offerred so me views as to why this probably will not happen. In addition I chose to offer some reasons why he would probably not be so stupid to attack the US or Israel. BUT………. this is something that should not be IGNORED, or looked upon from complacency,because that is exactly when the enemy does the very thing that all of the “COMPLACENTS”thought they wouldn’t. Neville Chamberlain died with the bad taste of his stupidity still in his mouth. If we are so stupid that we think nothing can happen ALL of us need to THINK AGAIN. All I am saying is thatt ANYTHING on the table. Wouldn’t it all be so nice if all of the world problems could be solved by a simple vote,or via politics. Sadly it is 180 degrees around; politics is where the roots of war begin and grow. Our youngsters need to see this side of the coin too. I talk of it because it is both relavent, and important. Didn’t a lot of MINUTEMEN have a little bit to do with a war that occurred in 1776? Wasn’t there a MILITARY side to the events leading up to the war and afterward? Havn’t there always been the need for a strong military to DEFEND our country when it is attacked. If we simply set it all aside, and pretend that everything is fine, get nice and fat,lazy, and complacent, then if we suddemnly find it necessary to act militarily, and CAN’T because we NO LONGER care about things having to do with self defense.we will certainly reap exactly what we sow. Think about that when you find yourself being attacked by a raving lunatic from the middle east.
  432. Obutt is 2 days in a row now holding at the worst support EVER.
    *********************************************
    Peter….if he pushes this Death Care monstrosity his approval is only going to get worse…..he and his minions are doing this on purpose….Why????….. is anyone’s guess…..they are playing lots of games and using every trick up there sleeves!!! How will any of this help his approval rating……Beck says it is all about control…..once they get it they don’t plan to give it back!!!
  433. Well, this at least explains the high numbers for Ron Paul, yet the loud boos in the straw poll. He has a highly organized support team, for sure…
    “Ron Paul, the leading Libertarian politician in America, got a stunning 31 percent of the vote, which left all other Conservative candidates in the dust: Mitt Romney got 22 percent; Sarah Palin, 7 percent; Tim Pawlenty, 6 percent. (And a majority of the voters said they wished the Republicans had a better field of potential candidates.)
    However, within moments of the announcement a Fox reporter at the convention did some detective work. She learned that only about two thousand attendees had voted. She found that the ballots hadn’t been distributed among the ten thousand attendees; they were available at only one table in the convention hall and unless people sought out the table they didn’t get a chance to vote. She added that Ron Paul’s highly organized and energetic supporters had made sure to snap up ballots.
    So while the Tea Party rebellion probably gave Ron Paul the largest vote he’s ever received at CPAC, it’s doubtful he was the most popular candidate at the convention; a chorus of boos accompanying the cheers from his supporters during the announcement shores this observation.”
    The straw poll is only good for straw arguments.
    This straw poll won’t break any camel’s back LOL.
    I like Ron Paul’s one trick pony of ending the FED, Ending IRS, Dismantling DC, etc. BUT if he showed us where in the last 30 yrs he worked hard to get elected and create a core group to get it accomplished I woudl fully support him. He did no such thing from all evidence…he had success last election because there was a youth internet grassroots that worked hard to get him noticed even though he lack of charisma is ineffective.
    Ron Paul could become president MUCH STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED: BO comes to mind.
    Ron Paul could learn from maybe Newt where he organized, worked and got a group that had success with Contract For America, but I don;t see him doing it. He kinda reminds me of Congressman Dennis Kucinich who is a lone wolf and talk out of his butt BUT has done little to create a group of like minded to achieve success.
  440. Ron Paul and James Traficant are huge anti-semites and won’t win the Jewish vote which is what the GOP and/or Tea Party needs. Oh yes. You can hide your anti-semitism by saying they are just saying the Israeli lobby controls America when Jews are less than 2% of the US population and there are tons of other powerful lobbys out there. You can hide your anti-semistism by saying Jews control the Fed. You can hide your anti-semitism and say Jews are occupying Palestine when Israel just walked out of Gaza and are the targets of unrelenting terrorism and rockets, even when they are willing to give the Palestinians part of Old Jerusalem, but when you consistently rant against things regarding the Jews, it’s safe to say you’re an anti-semite, like Ron Paul is. Stay away from him. He’s not going to win POTUS. It’s a waste of time and money to get excited about Ron Paul. The only thing I like about him is that he sticks it to Obama, but that won’t make him POTUS.
    This restriction will push everyone that has money in CITI to start a quick withdrawal of funds and move them to more friendly vaults like uncontrolled local banks.
  444. JS 10:06am, Exactly, the dems are hell bent on ramming health care down our throats asap. They must need what’s in that bill to win future elections.
    They want to make everyone dependent on the government. Give illegals the right to vote, along with health care, and WIC, and subsidized housing, and a landscaping job.
    Soon, the natural born sons and daughters of this country will be outnumbered by traitorous democrats, illegal aliens, and immigrants.
    If something isn’t done to curb the dilution of the voters in America, we our going to be taken over, and we will have lost our country.
    Imagine going to the government death panel and arguing your point against euthanasia. Do we really want government in our lives, and bank accounts?
  446. Is Medina the “Yellow Rose of Texas”. She seems to be the only Rose of Texas that they have ever knew;………………..
  447. Most of the GOP and Christian Conservatives are pro-Israel. There have been some notable exceptions like George HW Bush, James Baker and Pat Buchanan. When you look at the contribution of the Jews and Israel to America, versus the destruction of many Arabs, the contrast is striking. I would believe Ron Paul if he were more neutral. He’s not. He calls Israel an occupier when Israel has put forth many proposals including a land swap that have been repeatedly rejected by the Arabs. The Arabs use the money we pay for oil to spread hate and terror. An Arab killed RFK . The Jews have contributed since the dawn of the American Revolution when they befriended George Washington and greatly paid for the war of Independence when Americans were walking around in freezing snow without even shoes. American Jews and Israelis invented more medicines and medical devices, given more money to more charities, and typically fielded more doctors per capita than most other ethic groups. They invented the cell phone, Windows XP, modern breast cancer screening machines, etc. They have more nobel prize winners than most other ethnic groups per capita, and of course Israel gave us their values and ethics, and a precious son named Jesus. Ron Paul doesn’t acknowledge most of this. He just rants which is why he shouldn’t be a leader of the US.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The Obama’s Aren’t Profligate, You Say?

    Cornell McClellan can boast that he’s got about the biggest-assed celebrities you can as clients — the first couple.

    McClellan, a personal trainer who owns a gym called Naturally Fit in Barack and Michelle Obama’s hometown of Chicago, is still helping them keep in shape — he flies to Washington about once a week, mostly to work with the first lady, but sometimes Obama, as well.

    Michelle Obama was referred to McClellan by one of his clients 13 years ago. He began working with Mr. Obama about nine years ago. McClellan laughingly admits he’s the one responsible for Mrs. Obama’s famous arms.

    He says Obama is an all-around athlete. “He likes to mix it up,” McClellan told CBS News. “He loves to run, work out with weights, basketball, golf.”

    McClellan says he’s shown both Obamas boxing moves he demonstrated on The Early Show Saturday Edition.” Such moves, he says, help keep the whole body in shape, from triceps to abs and obliques to upper thighs.

    Triceps, abs and obliques, maybe? But I noticed that McClellan isn’t taking credit for the glutes. Maybe the pizza guy that flies in the Obama’s pizza from Missouri, 850 miles away, is responsible for those.

    You know McClellan isn’t flying coach on his weekly visits, and the round-trip business class on Delta is $1,985.80. Once you factor in the guy’s fee and travel expenses, the Obama’s are spending $5,000 per week, or $250,000 per year, on a personal trainer.

    That’s your money.

  451. Thanks, Jacqlyn. That’s what I think. When we’re fighting a huge war of terrorism, the enemy of my enemy, is my friend which is Israel. And American Jews have typically been Democratic. With a Muslim in the White House, this is our time to turn the huge Jewish vote in key states like Michigan, Florida and NJ to the GOP. Let’s not blow it with the likes of Ron Paul. That’s just my two cents. I’ll get off my high horse, but as you can tell, I’m not happy Ron Paul won the straw vote at CPAC and think it would be a waste of time to entertain his candidacy. Let’s not waste this moment.

  452. Oldsalt,

    Went to my empoloyer this morning to check on my deductions and my 32 hour a week job was taking out less than $9.oo a month for federal tax, married with 0 . Made the chaange to have extra taken out to equal last year at the beginning of the year.

  455. Not only did the FRAUD send the Dali-Lama out the back door past the garbage…..he gave him a gift of White House cuff links…..think about it….the Dali-Lama wears robes……What an idiot this FRAUD is and we thought DVD’s were bad….this takes the cake for stupidity!!!

  458. Go to your local Social Security Office or if not bale to do that Call them on telephone and try and talk to an English Speaking HUMAN.

    After that experience tell me you would want that lot or anything like it to handle your health affairs?

    Over 18 months ago a relative’s retirement check was stopped. After investigation they had the person as deceased. They wouldn’t show what proof they had BUT to “revive” the person they said they needed PROOF. Because the relative was in Europe they said they needed a Statment from the local mayor. After we submitted that PLUS a letter from his local doctor that saw him the same day. They said it wasn’t good enough. They needed something from the local gov’t BUT submitted thru “internal channels”. After that was done, it still was not good enough they needed the realtive to go to US Embassy and present himself with proper Identity. Well this would mean a flight of 3 hrs at a cost that was not affordable since months had gone by in dealign with the issue after being told the info required and submitted was NEVER GOOD ENOUGH. Finally after submitting the Embassy info and finally being “revived” it’s been over 12 months and after more than 5 trips and each one waiting 1-3 hrs to talk to someone in SS local office STILL NO CHECKS. The relative an American Citizen that worked and paid SS for over 30 yrs had to borrow money to return to USA to try and resolve the problem in person. He had to borrow money because the $5,000 he had in a US bank for his funeral was taken by the US Treasury to repay what they had paid went after his SUPPOSED death.

    Still waiting and living on CHARITY of Family.

    This is the GOONS that you want handling Health Issues. By the time you resolve an issue you would be death just waiting in the waiting rooms. DEATH would benefit others it would solve paying Medical Care or Social Security Retirement check…..so they could Pay for Those that PLAY…..like Corrupt Politicians or Business on the take like Auto Companies, Investors, Financial and Insurance institutions.

    HELL NO, get your Dirty Rotten Hands off our Health Care….I would rather deal with the worst Mafia Run Insurance company then a Social Security type gov’t Agency. I have NEVER EVER had to call a private Insurance Co more than 2 times to resolve any issue for myslef or many others that I have helped in the past.

    END most all Gov’t Programs. I would rather keep my own money even in the matress at least I don;t have to go hat in hand trying to prove I’M WORTHY or ALIVE.

  459. Hey – how about some good news??? 🙂

    A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Republican Primary voters finds Rubio leading Crist by 18 points, 54% to 36%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and seven percent are undecided.

    Those figures reflect a five point increase in support for Rubio compared to a month ago. Support for Crist has changed little over the past month.

    In December, the two GOP hopefuls were tied at 43% apiece. The new findings mark Rubio’s best showing to date and Crist’s worst.

The sucking sound of the tax machine is getting louder and louder and the ability for the workers/taxpayers to pay is fast falling behind in the ability to earn money to pay future taxes. More evidence that they are trying to bankrupt this country and take total control.

  465. I think that Medina offers ss much as anyone else does.I also think that she is more likely to be a quality Governor than the others. 485. Linda from NY, I disagree with Huckabee on this. I think part of the 40 percent in this Country who claim to be Conservative are Libertarian. I think the two factors need to come together because they both believe in small government. In fact, Libertarians even more so. Huckabee “says” the growing Libertarian group in the Republican party bothers him, yet he is a RINO. So his concern is the least of my concerns, other than people like him are gonna make it a divisive thing which the Conservative movement doesn’t need right now. Small government is what we need.

    Will Sarah Palin play in Peoria? Except for a brief stop in Chicago to tape an Oprah Winfrey show last November, Palin’s first public appearance in Illinois will be April 17 in Washington, a town of about 14,000 near Peoria.

    The local community center — called Five Points Washington — booked Palin for a speech and a dinner to raise money for a parking lot, youth scholarships and other projects. The 1,000 tickets sold out in a day. With VIP receptions thrown in, the center’s gross — according to my calculations — should be about $235,000, minus Palin’s fee, which is in the $100,000 ballpark.

    Why Palin? “I think she has something to say,” Washington Mayor Gary Manier says

    I knew voter turnout was higher, but 3 times?

    That’s very good news.

    Since I’m from Chicago, I think the attitude of Obama and minions is everyone has their price. What they don’t count on is some patriots cannot be bought for any price. This is just the latest scandal of we are above the law (or think we are). As a Dem. I just wonder how many of us are involved in the Tea Party Movement-because the Dems are corrupt and incompetent and Obama is their leader. I know the Republicans are dissatisfied due to other reasons in their party. Obama is a -19 again today-we know most Republicans did not vote for him so the declining numbers must be very disgusted Dems and Independents. May his numbers go even lower-Phil Berg is so correct is his assessment-Obama the biggest phony in the history of the nation.

  497. I’m SPARTACUS, I’m SPARTACUS.

    It was bound to happen:

    I’m a Tea Party Leader.
    No, I’m the Tea Party Leader …

  498. South…………………………
    Beck actually done me a favor! His raving finally got to me enough that I now use the time much more constructively. I still enjoy watching America’s Newsroom (Hemmer), in the morning and I like to listen to Bret Baier,and Krauthammer in the evening. At least Krauthammer talks intelligently, and is enjoyable to listen to. It is really sad that he is a quadraplegic.

    Tea Party Organizer Wins New York State Assembly Race
    By Eric Shawn
    – FOXNews.com

    Dean Murray, a 45-year-old Long Island, N.Y., businessman who organized Tea Party protests, will be sworn in as the new Republican state assemblyman representing Long Island’s eastern 3rd Assembly District after being certified the winner of a special election held last Tuesday.

    snip

    Murray defeated his Democratic opponent, 28-year-old Lauren Thoden, 51 to 49 percent, making him what is believed to be the first Tea Party organizer who has attained public office. His district has been in Democratic hands for the last 13 years and he is the third Republican to hold the seat in the last 37 years. The assemblywoman he replaced, Patricia Eddington, resigned to take another post as a town clerk.

    In this last Rasmussen poll, it states that they would post a new poll the following day, but they didn’t so clearly the new polls are being suppressed.

    However looking at this early result, it’s clear that Medina is surging, just as Brown did.

    One doesn’t have to look far to know why the polls are being suppressed.

  516. Did Rick Perry force school age girls to take that guarasil(sp?) Vaccine a few years back? If so that is enough reason right there not to vote for him.

  517. The Houston Chronicle had a voting poll for the Texas governor’s race but it has been taken down. I cast my vote online on Friday and it showed Medina had 46% vs Perry who was around 25%.

    It would be great if Medina got >50% of the vote on the 2 March primary and no runoff was necessary!

    If you live in Texas, talk with your friends and neighbors about voting for Medina.

  519. They vilify private insurance companies because they won’t pay for losses you acquired while not paying for insurance BUT they want you to pay for Health Insurance for 3-4 yrs before you get COVERED for the losses that you acquired while PAYING for Insurance?

    INSANTASY is what I call it.

    Imagine if a private company told you you start paying now BUT get no coverage for 6 months? You would tell them to SCREW and go to another company.

    With the INSANTASY PLAN you Pay for 3-4 yrs with NO COVERAGE and have to pay another company to have coverage while paying the Gov’t for the privilidge of someday possibly getting health insurance that will be controlled by Gov’t Morons?

    NO THANKS. I’ll keep mine private and you should too.
    TRUST THE GOV’T, when you do it will COST YOU.

  520. Look at this photo again: BO’s grandpa is sitting beside him, and at first glance it looks like a normal photo.

    But if you look closely, his hand is over his shoulder, but his shoulder is positioned a lot lower than it would actually be, if his hand was where it is in the photo.

    Think of how long his arm would have to be (bo’s grandpa) for his shoulder to stay in the relaxed position it’s in, and at the same time, have his hand over bo’s shoulder.

    has posted some really HOT comments. The way is see it now the DNC installed Obama but the plotters in their haste made a lot of glaring errors, hence us. They have a choice to make very soon, today would be good. Admit they screwed up, let the chips fall where they may. This is like Watergate/Nixon lies, cover-ups to the point of sickening times 1,000. The DNC is going down with Obama only they have the choice of how far the descent. Hell being the lowest point, South Side of Chicago cesspool of corruption one step above hell but not by much.
