“Toys R Us is selling Ouija boards, promoting them as acceptable for children as young as eight years old.
The pink edition of the Ouija board is listed for girls eight-years-old and up while the regular version is designated for all children eight and up. Stephen Phelan, communications manager of Human Life International, checked the website and reports that the findings are disturbing.
“It is just troubling that these things are treated as casually as any other game, like Monopoly or anything else on this Toys R Us site — and I think it’s something Christians should be aware of and really not support,” he states.”
“”We’re supposed to deal with the truth only,” he notes. “We’re supposed to have nothing to do with dark spirits. We’re not supposed to dabble in anything that would compromise our souls, and that’s exactly what this does.”

Conyers wants Haiti relief official demoted over diversity deficit

Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) has called on Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to demote the official coordinating Haiti relief efforts for not having enough minority staffers.
The House Judiciary Committee Chairman sent a letter to Clinton on Thursday after Rajiv Shah, administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, showed up at a meeting with the 42-member Congressional Black Caucus without any African American staffers in tow.
“I was alarmed and chagrined to learn that none of the approximately dozen staff he brought with him were African American,” Conyers wrote in the letter. “This is so serious an error in judgment that it warrants his immediate demotion to a subordinate position at AID.”
Conyers is set to lead a congressional delegation to Haiti on Friday, his first visit to the island country since a massive earthquake destroyed much of the impoverished nation.
The State Department did not comment on the letter when contacted for reaction.
In an interview with The Hill, Conyers explained that he didn’t ask for Shah’s ousting because he “doesn’t want him to lose his job working on Haiti, I just want him to get some diversity in there, that’s all.”
The lack of minority US AID staffers would “suggest there are no black people qualified to deal with Haiti,” Conyers explained.
In the letter, Conyers expressed alarm that none of the “approximately dozen” staff members with Shah were African Americans.
He also said that minorities have long been under-represented in key State positions

RamseyTennessee state Senate speaker and gubernatorial candidate Ron Ramsey has joined the growing ranks of officials and prominent commentators who say they are unsure of whether President Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen.
Ramsey was asked Feb. 2 about the issue by Maclin Davis, a former state lawmaker and attorney for the state GOP, the Associated Press reported.
“I don’t know whether President Obama is a citizen of the United States or not,” Ramsey responded. “I don’t know what the whole deal is there.”
However, Ramsey added that he doesn’t believe citizens are concerned about Obama’s citizenship status.
“But I’m going to tell you something,” he said. “When you walk out on the street down here, people don’t really care about this issue.”
He said dwelling on the issue of whether Obama is eligible to hold office distracts from the Republican message on jobs, education and fiscal conservatism.

Good Morning! Polls getting back to normal over at Rasmussen.
Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
Regarding my post about the “IMPEACH OBAMA” signs at the police station, I find it to be great that the police are allowing this, but also very odd. Any thoughts?

the average citizen knows nothing about the form of government he lives under and knows nothing about the Constitution. He was never taught about it in public schools. This is why the Founding Fathers did not trust democracy as a form of government. They knew what would happen when the average citizen is manipulated.
That’s why they put the elector system in the Constitution. Unfortunately political parties conspired to gut the system at the state level.

When asked how he plans to build his “peace movement,” Ayers replied: “Well, I mean, how do you build a movement? How do you build a civil rights movement or peace movement? Look at history. All kinds of ways, but what we need is to stop spending billions of dollars on war and we need to invest in being a nation among nations and giving up on the insanity of thinking we can conquer the world.”
But he’ll have to interrupt his recent activities. Lately, Ayers has been involved with pro-Palestinian activism, and last month, Ayers and his wife, Weather Underground co-founder Bernardine Dohrn, were involved in provoking chaos on the streets of Egypt in an attempt to enter the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip to join in solidarity with the territory’s population and leadership.
The protests were led by Jodie Evans, co-founder of Code Pink, a far-left activist organization formed in 2002 to protest America’s war in Iraq. The group previously met with Hamas and with leaders of the Taliban. During the Iraq war, Evans delivered $600,000, in cash and supplies, to the Fallujah insurgents — our enemy. Evans, who has been described as “the face of the Democrats’ future,” was a fundraiser and financial bundler for Obama’s presidential campaign.

One of Obama’s greatest campaign lies was describing Bill Ayers as, just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood.”
Ayers, not to be outdone, lied that he knew Obama only slightly: “I think my relationship with Obama was probably like that of thousands of others in Chicago and, like millions and millions of others, I wished I knew him better.”
Well, it is true that they were neighbors. The rest is BS.
In fact, in 1985, Bill Ayers’ Woods Fund put up the money for Obama to move from New York to Chicago. In 1985 the foundation gave a $25,000 grant to the Developing Communities Project (aka the “DCP”), which hired Obama, at 24, as an organizer on Chicago’s economically depressed South Side.” Later, Obama joined the board of the Woods Fund in 1993 and remained until 2002.
In 1989, Obama was a summer intern at Michelle Obama’s law firm, Sidley & Austin. Michelle was Barack’s summer adviser. One of Michelle’s co-workers was Bernadine Dohrn, Bill Ayers’ terrorist wife.
In 1993, Barack Obama was named the the founding Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Bill Ayers organized the team to put together a grant proposal to secure nearly $50 million from the Annenberg Challenge. The money was to be used by Ayers and company to bolster the radical Local School Councils reform project that Ayers and Obama had championed back in 1988 through the ABCs. Ayers personally selected Obama to serve as chairman, and Obama served on the board for eight years until the Challenge ended in 2003. During this time, Obama and Ayers shared an office.
In 1995, “a small group of people came to the communist, Bill Ayers’ house, to learn that the communist, Alice Palmer, was stepping down from the state senate and running for Congress,” said the communist, Dr. Quentin Young, a prominent Chicago physician and advocate for single-payer health care — “[Palmer] identified [Obama] as her successor.”
And, of course, they both taught at the University of Chicago.
When Obama was unable to deliver a manuscript of “Dreams…” to Random House, he turned to Bill Ayers to help him finish what was to become a work of fiction, supposedly on the advice of wife, Michelle. Thanks to the help he received from the skilled Ayers, Obama was able to submit a manuscript to his editors.
Obama lied to cover up the 20-year plus relationship, and his long-time friend and associate Bill Ayers lied right along with him — remember, both these guys strongly believe that the end does justify the means.
And, there are those that believe Obama first met Ayers in 1981-1982, while Obama was at Columbia College and Ayers was 371 yards down the street at Bank Street College, where he received an M.A. in Early Childhood Education.
My dad is a chemist and he created a polyester coating/paint that is used on a lot of different things. About 30-40 years ago a company called him and said they had a problem with his paint. He went to the co. and they said it wouldn’t stick to their product. So he asked what they were making, they said ouija boards. He told them that his paint would never work on them because he is a Christian and a Christian’s paint would never work on something like an ouija board.

A few years ago, a very nice lady told me about her daughter seeing angels at night and talking to them. They didn’t bother her daughter. But, still she was concerned enough to ask me about it, whether or not it could be true that she was seeing angels. I said to her that it was certainly possible. Young children are very innocent, pure souls. Just as a precaution, I told her to instruct her child to make the sign of the cross the next time an angel came. We know that Satan and his minions flee at the sign of the cross. If the angel stayed, then the mother could rest easy that the angel was bonafide.
The following weekend, the mother came up to me and told me that she had instructed her daughter to make the sign of the cross the next time she saw an angel. The daughter did this and the angel left and never came back. …and the hair on my arms stood straight up!
Demons can manifest as good. Ouija boards and anything of this ilk are nothing to play around with. If evil put a sign on it to identify it, most folks wouldn’t go anywhere near it. But, most of the time, evil manifests as something good in order to tempt us to follow evil. And, of our own, we don’t have the power to go against it. Only in Christ can we conquer.

It is just a theory of who I believe is pulling on the elegibility strings. I believe the Keyes/Obama debate tape will appear as well as the LA times tape. I believe their was and is a cordinated effort on the part of atleast 5 countries inteligence agencies to decieve Americans-our CIA being used to frame and blackmail courts, politicians, and the media. Earlier this week, according to reports in India, Obama representative Carolyn Sauvage-Mar accepted the gold-plated statue, promising to pass it on to the candidate after is it sanctified through ritual Hindu prayers.
“The idol is being presented to Obama as he is reported to be a Lord Hanuman devotee and carries with him a locket of the monkey god along with other good luck charms,” reported the Times of India.
An hour-long prayer meeting to sanctify the idol was conducted by Congress party leader Brijmohan Bhama and temple priests.
“Obama has deep faith in Lord Hanuman, and that is why we are presenting an idol of Hanuman to him,” said Bhama.
Accepting the souvenir, Sauvage-Mar, chairwoman of Democrats Abroad-India, said, “Obama has extended his thanks for the support.”
The idol will be kept at the temple for 11 days and then sent to the U.S. It will reach Obama by Aug. 24 – a day before the Democratic National Convention opens in Denver.
The idea of sending an idol of Hanuman dawned on Bhama after friends in the U.S. mentioned a “prominent American politician who carried a miniature Hanuman idol in his pocket for luck.”
“After hearing that, I decided to gift Mr. Obama a larger, gold-plated version along with the wishes of thousands of his supporters in this country,” Bhama told the Hindu newspaper.
Along with the idol, a copy of “Hanuman Chalisa,” a compilation of Hindu hymns, will be sent to Obama.

A photo that recently appeared on the Time Magazine White House Photo of the Day shows the things that Barack Obama carries for good luck, which includes a bracelet belonging to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit, a tiny monkey god and a tiny Madonna and child. Newspapers and Television channels in India have zeroed in on the tiny monkey god and are suggesting that the presumptive Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, Obama, is seeking the blessings of Lord Hanuman in his battle for the White House.
Neither the Time magazine nor the photographer has identified the statue as Lord Hanuman. No idea if Obama too recognizes it has Hanauman idol.
But the Indian media has linked the statue it to the initial days that Obama spent in Indonesia. In Bali Island of Indonesia, Hinduism is the most popular religion and the sacred epic Ramayana in which Lord Hanuman appears.
But the tiny monkey god statue that is among the lucky charms has four hands. In India and Indonesia, Lord Hanuman is rarely depicted has having four hands. But in the Thailand version of Ramayana, known as Ramakien, Hanuman is often depicted as having four hands.
If it is the statue of Lord Hanuman, then the chances are that it probably represents Hanuman in the Thai Ramakien.
Hanuman symbolizes selfless service, unparalleled strength and unfathomable devotion and is one of the most popular deities in Hinduism. The fruitful association of Lord Rama with Hanuman and his ‘monkey clan’ symbolizes the need for the coexistence of humans and animals. The Ouija board was first introduced to the American public in 1890 as a parlor game sold in novelty shops.
E.C. Reiche, Elijah Bond, and Charles Kennard … created an all new alphanumeric design. They spread the letters of the alphabet in twin arcs across the middle of the board. Below the letters were the numbers one to ten. In the corners were “YES” and “NO.”
Kennard called the new board Ouija (pronounced ‘wE-ja) after the Egyptian word for good luck. Ouija is not really Egyptian for good luck, but since the board reportedly told him it was during a session, the name stuck.*
Kennard lost his company and it was taken over by his former foreman, William Fuld, in 1892.
One of William Fuld’s first public relations gimmicks, as master of his new company, was to reinvent the history of the Ouija board. He said that he himself had invented the board and that the name Ouija was a fusion of the French word “oui” for yes, and the German “ja” for yes.*

I went down the the police station, which is right next to the post office. The “IMPEACH OBAMA” sign was actually in front of the post office. It was LaRouche volunteers. Around 1968 when my best friend Kelly and I were 12 years old, We sat on the floor in her closet with a couple of flashlights propped to shine on her Ouija Board.
She had just received the Ouija Board as a present for her birthday and we were excited to be playing with it for the first time. We followed the diredctions and for a long time we didn’t think the piece you put your fingers on was going to move.
Then the piece started moving slowly,if I remember right, it didn’t spell anything,just moved in slow cirlces around the board.
The piece started moving faster and faster in circles, naturally I thought she was moving it and vice versa.
The piece shot out horizontally from under our fingers and shot into the closed closet door.
We couldn’t get out of that closet fast enough. Both of us were sacred to death.
I knew I hadn’t moved the piece and I believed Kelly when she said she didn’t move it either.
We were both still so scared when her mom came in that afternoon from her job at the gas company and told her what had happened, she took the Ouija Board outside and threw it straight into the dumpster.
Over 40 years later, Kelly and I are still best friends and we both still won’t have anything to do with Ouija Boards.
I don’t know what made the piece spin as fast as it did or to spin out of control and shoot out from under our finger tips, I only know neither one of us wanted to experience anything like that ever again.
I am 54 years old now, been happily married over 30 years, two great daughters and a young grandson. Just a regular person who had a real and very scary experience with something Kelly and I had no business fooling around with.
This is one of those ..buyer beware items
most people think that this ouija board is “just” a game — but that is what they want you to think so you will get caught up in a very bad spiritual tug of war that you have no idea of what you are doing. It is NOT A TOY !!!! Dont buy it .leave it alone You are going to open up things that are not to be opened….BEWARE
