“The White House announced the resignation of green jobs adviser Van Jones early Sunday morning. In a departure letter, Jones, whose extensive record of radical politics became public in recent weeks, said he was the victim of a “vicious smear campaign” and that “opponents of reform” had used “lies and distortion” against him.
Observers had been predicting Jones’ departure after word spread that Jones signed a 2004 petition supporting the so-called “9/11 Truther” movement; that he was a self-professed communist during much of the 1990s; that he supported the cop-killer Mumia abu-Jamal; that in 2008 he accused “white polluters” of “steering poison into the people of color communities”; that he was affiliated with an anti-American publication called “War Times” from 2002 to 2004; that in 2005 he said, “You’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child”; and that earlier this year he called Republicans “a–holes.” When controversy erupted, Jones apologized for the “Truther” episode and his remarks about the GOP.
Jones as a favorite of Valerie Jarrett, who is one of President Obama’s closest advisers. “We were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House,” Jarrett said in August. “We were watching him — really, he’s not that old — for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has.””
“But it was Jones’ radical politics that did him in. He left a long trail of statements, many of them on video, covering a variety of hot-button political and racial issues. The controversy over those statements grew slowly at first but snowballed in recent days, and Jones’ fate was signaled by the White House on Friday, when spokesman Robert Gibbs declined say that President Obama continued to have confidence in his green jobs adviser.”

This certainly captures well the flavour of the struggle of America today: the revolt against the elite.
Everyone knows that the financial elite are weilding the stick, and that the academic elite give it force and provide cover for the former, hence Congress.
This duplicitous act, under the guise of doing what is for the common good, is now up in flames. The unremitting zeal for power and money floridly exposed in the health care debate can now longer be hidden.
The public have had enough. Fine tuning negotiations over health care will not quell the people’s sense of betrayal.

‘No’ To Government-Designed Healthcare
— The Reasons Why And The Better Solutions —

Having practiced medicine for the past 30 years, it appears to me that the Pelosi, Reid, Obama mad rush to change the healthcare system of America is nothing short of a disaster-in-progress for the nation, and for more reasons than just its effects upon healthcare.
The primary reason for the entire effort by Obama and his socialist friends is a powerplay by which they can gain control of the most intimate service provided to Americans which in essence gives government control over every individual from a life-and-death perspective as well as allowing intrusion into your personal and financial privacy. Does this power-grab sound familiar? It is nothing less than a major thrust towards socialism or worse and MUST be stopped NOW. Any watering down of the current bill or time-delay triggers for a government option are just a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
From a healthcare perspective, there are about 13 million Impoverished Uninsured who do receive care when they present to healthcare facilites. The remainder of the “47 million uninsured” include many who can afford insurance but opt out. How does finding a way to insure the 13 million poor uninsured constitute a healthcare emergency deserving of massive government takeover of healthcare when (a) the government has never run any program including Medicare or Medicaid cost effectively or with time efficiencies necessary to effect healthcare delivery and (b) the solutions to “universal healthcare” access are much simpler than all the legal BS presented in HR3200 or its relatives?
The solutions from a physician perspective which has more credibility than the proposals written for and considered by the lawyers in Congress are as follows:
Eliminate interstate regulation of the private insurance industry to allow competition to do what it is supposed to do—lower premium rates to the lowest common denominator.
Require private insurance or Medicaid to absorb the 5% of impoverished uninsured, and anyone else who can afford insurance to purchase a policy either individually or through a group at fair market value.
Eliminate the preexisting condition restriction so all Americans are insured.
ALL healthcare decisions should be left to a doctor and his patient.
The above solutions seem overlysimplistic because they must be accompanied by a way to pay for the impoverished uninsured. There are numerous sources of funding ranging from utilization of savings generated by interstate competition of insurance companies to a small tax levied on the premium benefit provided by employers to their employees. These are the details with which our Congress should concern itself—not the current pro-
posed bills.
Maybe Congress and Obama should simultaneously simplify the ridiculous U.S. tax code to a FAIR TAX and discover the consequent savings generated by not funding the current outdated, complex tax system. This would go a long way to addressing the 9 trillion dollar projected budget deficit staring America in the face like a shotgun.
The consequences of any healthcare bill short of a one which demands solutions through the private sector will be disastrous for all of us.

Subject: The Date
First, let me say that I’ve moved three presidents up to now and I’ve
seen incredible waste. But, the “new” guy really takes the cake. I don’t have an issue with the President promising his wife dinner and a show or that he even takes his wife out.
But, when I saw the news say that the date cost $24,000, here’s what you DON’T know.
Three days before “dinner” a C-17 flew Marines and the helicopter maintenance equipment to JFK Airport .
The day before “dinner” I flew the USSS and the motorcade to JFK Airport

Our crew of 5 spent two days and nights at the Hilton in Times Square . My hotel bill: $621.66 plus $64 a day in per diem. The USSS guys were at a different Hilton in NYC, so figure that cost another $14,000 (or so) plus per diem. The Marines had to have cost as much and were there four days, so figure another $55,000 plus per diem (for 44 Marines).
We were supposed to fly the motorcade back and go home, but the Air
Force was so short of C-17’s that we were re-tasked to take the motorcade back, return to JFK and take the helicopter back to Quantico .
When we got back to JFK, while the pilot was turning the plane around
to park, he noticed a rotor blade sticking out of the hangar where the
helicopter was parked and informed me that either it wasn’t ready to
transport or it was flying home. After shutting down I walked over to the hangar and to my surprise I find FIVE helicopters, not ONE.
We’re obviously not transporting five big helicopters. I went and
talked to the Marines guarding the “fleet” and found that they were flying all five helicopters home and we were only transporting the Marines and the maintenance equipment. After talking to the Marine(s) in charge, I was told that the White House requested FIVE helicopters. The Marines told me that they spent all morning trying to figure out how much it cost them to come and said they figured it cost them $140,000 to stay there (I don’t know where they came up with that)and the trip’s total had to be about $1,000,000.
We heard that the President didn’t use Air Force One (the 747) so I
asked if he came in on one of the 757’s. I was told that he came in on
THREE Air Force Lear jets.
So, date night consisted of:
2 C-17’s flying three missions, 3 Lear jets, 5 Helicopters,
Presidential Motorcade, 44 Marines, more than 20 USSS personnel on our plane. Who knows what it cost the NYPD and NY Port Authority (at the airport) in overtime.
The se are the same people that chastised the automobile CEO’s for
using their aircraft. It further proves that the media only use the facts
that make the President look good and hide any facts that will detract
from his persona..
Is this the ‘change’ we expected?
Talk with friends and those who are not blinded by charisma. Many
folks I know who voted for Obama are very disappointed and sorry they did so.

Van Jones was also behind a too-successful campaign to pressure advertisers to withdraw from Glenn Beck’s tv show. After Glenn started exposing Jones, Jones quickly retaliated and used his Apollo Alliance and other communist forces to use their pc blackmail to force companies to withdraw their ads. They accused Glenn of being a racist, simply because he opposed Obama’s policies. Of course, major companies don’t want to be accused of supporting a racist, so they withdrew. Bob and everybody-As a former Chicagoan but grew up in the suburbs, this just makes me sick. This is where Obama’s money came from to start his campaigns-from federal, state, local taxes and off the backs of these poor people. They are just chess pieces to be used to get the dollars-ill gotten for sure. Everyone in Chicago knows this-everyone. Obama was not the first one to pull off these crimes, nor did he do it alone. The object was to get money and if these people had to die and I’m sure there were those who froze to death, expired due to heat exhaustion, poisoned by dangerous chemicals in the building etc. and he didn’t care. Obama and minions contributed and profited by negligent homicide. The money was available to these people, they just stole it all.
People….we need to stay on our elected representatives and tell them NO to any and all government run health care…..enough is enough!!!

We send about 40 billion a year on food stamps. And we are told that children go hungry everyday. I think we should a Public Food Option to compete with these big grocery stores that make huge profits on food. Food that is esential to human life. STOP the gouging of bread and milk I say STOP IT NOW!!
And then we need to have a Public Clothing Option. Levis makes millions of the backs of cheap labor and actually charges people for such a basic need. STOP IT NOW! Demand a Public Option I say, DEMAND IT NOW!!!
All these pundits saying the right is telling lies about health care because they don’t like the FRAUD is not true…..first of all they are not lies….and second of all it is because we don’t trust him or anyone else in the government to do the right thing because they usually don’t as history is showing and the fact that we are broke and in a lot of debt to put it mildly!!!

It also sheds light on the fact that Hillary Clinton would not have been any different than Obama. She is a student of the SAME school of thinking as Obama with the same money behind her.

This is why I believe that he must have a specialised communication system which he uses within his inner circle. Whole I was serving in the Navy,before I was rated I was assigned as a crewman of a %inch mount in a genewral quarters condition.I can still remember the mount gunner telling everyone in that turrett that when we sight an enemy TARGET, it is imperative that we tell exactly what we see, where it is(relative bearing),and approximate distance. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 29% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11 (see trends).

Many, many thanks to my friend SueK for posting that up. I’m pretty sure that it’s exactly what it read. However, it’s close. I tried to remember it and laughing about it with my husband for miles down the road.
It was on a large glass door that opened up into the place. It could have been a small-town bank, but I’m not sure. Regardless, you couldn’t miss it. It was in their town square. The poster filled up the entire door. It was on white paper, totally. Then BO was also printed in black, and you could tell that it was him. Then in the large letters it had that.
Just too funny! Glad these small towns are paying attention. But I think most of them are just regular people like we are–real people… and definitely not the fake people like in the media, etc.

The readers to Citizen Wells know that this document is not a ‘birth certiificate,’ but is instead prepared by the hospital, an ‘abstract’ of a long-form certificate.
As such, it is really no different from the ‘abstract’ prepared by Hawaii (which will be known for as long as the grass grows and the rivers flow as ‘OBAMA’S BOGUS COLB’ —
In fact, the Smith form contains MORE verifiable information on it than the Hawaii form!
However, despite EVERYTHING that has been written or said —
On the Smith form — What is CORRECT? —
1. The name of the hospital is CORRECT;
2. The use of “Coast Province” is CORRECT;
3. The use of “British Protectorate” is CORRECT;
4. The attending physician lived and practiced in or near Mombasa in the late 1950s — at least until 1960;
5. The date-format would be appropriate, if the document was prepared at the request of the mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, to be submitted to the U. S. Consul’s office;
6. A seal contains the name of the current Chief Administrator of CPGH on the date the document was purportedly signed.
What CANNOT be verified (yet):
1. The name of the Supervisor of Obstetrics, “John Kwame Odongo” — [for various reasons, this name appears to be BOGUS] — but only a library review of the actual register of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the British Medical Association, Kenya Branch (for 1961) will be able to authenticate whether in fact the name is accurate or not (but this is doubtful);
2. Whether the document contains the ACTUAL seal of the Coast Provincial General Hospital (but this is doubtful);
3. Whether the purported signatures of the doctors are theirs (but this is doubtful);
4. Whether the purposed signature of the Chief Hospital Administrator is accurate (but this is doubtful).

Hadn’t considered that possibility, but it may be so. There are so many things flying around out there it’s tough to tell who has what motive but I look at it this way: No matter if the document(s) is real, it goes to the issue of doubt. Do we really know who this guy is in the White House? Why are all his records sealed? If enough doubt can be conjured up (and I believe that’s happening), perhaps an investigation (and discovery) will ensue.
That, I think, is the point.
President Kennedy encourages dissension and he did not shrink from it. This is the difference between a president who loved his country, his fellow citizens, his Constitution and The One and minions who hate their fellow citizens and will try to usurp power over them.

This is how it was explained to me when I was in Chicago. Say you, oldsalt77, JeffM are in the competitors in the same type of business as Ross Perot. You submit your sealed bids to government after doing a lot of work to present your bid. Ross Perot dials up his “contact” congressperson what is the lowest bid? $4 million. He adds one dollar more and gets the job. After the ace job that they did, his company was banned in many states. They got wise after the first disasters.

REGARDING the Lucas Document
First, has Lucas every committed a crime…there is a story about him, but was that every verified; it could be another planted smear story…
Second, I agree, if you request a document for the American Embassy, you have a good chance from a non governmental organization to convince them of putting it in American format.
The Hospital was not a British Colonial agency, it had no requirement to use their date format…
Second regarding the seal on the Lucas Document…would the Hospital have used a fancy seal in 1961…I think not, because it was only a private corporation and had no reason to have a fancy seal…however the seal to me looks similar to the $15 seals you can order on request at office supply chains in the USA…
My question is, did Kenya use A4 or Letter sized paper…have not seen any discussion of this; but this is important, more important than you think: what are the dimensions of the Lucas Document…it is very hard to find non standard sized paper in the USA, and not many amateur forgers would note that detail, they’d use Letter sized…

Notice how all of these are spelled out in full text, and that the day is always first. This was and still is the case for any commonwealth or colony nation for the U.K. and that’s what you would see.

The reason I think he was able to do what he did is he comes off very soft, sweet, polite non-threatening. Sometimes people forget the magic word “please”. I think he was smart enough to build up a rapport with the folks in Kenya and they may have said “what the hell” and for a little grease gave him what he requested. It still could have been a relative or friend of Odinga-Obama’s murderous cousin who had some revenge in mind.

Most voters aren’t fools; once they see what’s happening, even if they supported a candidate, there’s no coming back. This has happened more than has been reported. Once they’re gone, that’s it. I’ve talked to many who voted for this ‘historic President’ and they fully admit to making one helluva mistake. Most were swept up in the rhetoric (just another word for ‘crap’) and thought that the change would be positive. Now, however, they admit that this wasn’t the kind of change they opted for.

Agreed. I was out in Chicago in 2006 and a friend explained it all to me. I never would’ve thought it was that bad, but apparently, it was and is. I’m in the Boston area, so that pretty much says it all: Crooked career politicians, nepotism galore, the ‘good old boy’ network-it’s all here BUT, I don’t think it’s half as bad as Chicago politics.
I read something a while ago about Chicago being the ‘windy city.’ Actually, it has nothing to do with the weather; back in the day when Chicago politicians came east for a powwow, the comment was ‘Those Chicago politicians sure are windy’ referring to them never shutting up.

SueK-just so you know it wasn’t always like that, I think it started deteriorating around LBJ time and never recovered. Mayor Daley had his head tax so many businesses moved to the suburbs where I grew up. DuPage County totally different than City of Chicago, Cook County. DuPage low taxes, very little social services, we didn’t want them, didn’t need them, just as happy to be ignored. If you have problems in the suburbs you just starve it out until things get better. Luckily everyone in the same boat most of the time. People expect a lot of city services in City of Chicago, a concept suburbanites just don’t understand. You can’t rake a leaf? clear the sidewalk of snow, etc. We liked to do that in the suburbs good exercise and you’re outdoors.

I look at the survival probability of Soetoro’s CZARS as something comparable to driving on the DAN RYAN XPW. I used to go up to visit a friend of mine who lived in North Chicago. I drove up the Dan Ryan. I vowed then that I would NEVER again drive on it.In later visits I took 41 over to Shore drive, and went North on it. Definitely slower, but 100% safer. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 (see trends). Why did DOJ wait until the 11th hour this past Friday to file their motion when they have known about this hearing for some time? They file on Friday, today is a holiday and Orly’s hearing is tomorrow.
DOJ says that none of the plaintiffs who were candidates had any chance of winning the election anyway, so its okay to leave a constitutionally ineligible candidate on the ballot and then in office. So what if Obama/Soetorowas born with dual citizenship and can never be eligible?

The judge in Berg v. Obama dismissed the case, not because Obama has actually proven that he is eligible for “the Office of President,” but instead because, simply as a voter, Berg supposedly lacks “standing” to challenge Obama’s eligibility:
regardless of questions of causation, the grievance remains too generalized to establish the existence of an injury in fact. * ** [A] candidate’s ineligibility under the Natural Born Citizen Clause does not result in an injury in fact to voters. By extension, the theoretical constitutional harm experienced by voters does not change as the candidacy of an allegedly ineligible candidate progresses from the primaries to the general election.
This pronouncement does not rise to the level of hogwash.
First, the Constitutionmandates that “[t]he judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution” (Article III, Section 2, Clause 1). Berg’s suit plainly “aris[es] under th[e] Constitution,” in the sense of raising a critical constitutional issue. So the only question is whether his suit is a constitutional “Case[ ].” The present judicial test for whether a litigant’s claim constitutes a constitutional “Case[ ]” comes under the rubric of “standing”—a litigant with “standing” may proceed; one without “standing” may not. “Standing,” however, is not a term found anywhere in the Constitution. Neither are the specifics of the doctrine of “standing,” as they have been elaborated in judicial decision after judicial decision, to be found there. Rather, the test for “standing” is almost entirely a judicial invention.
True enough, the test for “standing” is not as ridiculous as the judiciary’s so-called “compelling governmental interest test,” which licenses public officials to abridge individuals’ constitutional rights and thereby exercise powers the Constitution withholds from those officials, which has no basis whatsoever in the Constitution, and which is actually anti-constitutional. For the Constitution does require that a litigant must present a true “Case[ ].” Yet, because the test for “standing” is largely a contrivance of all-too-fallible men and women, its specifics can be changed as easily as they were adopted, when they are found to be faulty. And they must be changed if the consequences of judicial ignorance, inertia, and inaction are not to endanger America’s constitutional form of government. Which is precisely the situation here, inasmuch as the purported “election” of Obama as President, notwithstanding his ineligibility for that office, not only will render illegitimate the Executive Branch of the General Government, but also will render impotent its Legislative Branch (as explained below).
Second, the notion upon which the judge in Berg v. Obama fastened—namely, that Berg’s “grievance remains too generalized to establish the existence of an injury in fact,” i.e., if everyone is injured or potentially injured then no one has “standing”—is absurd on its face

I think that a prayer would be helpful ,and it sure can’t hurt.It seems every time we think we have this scum of the earth something goes wrong. Just saying. I hope everybody had a good Labor Day?
