“Massachusetts public health officials reported 3,098 new COVID-19 breakthrough cases in fully vaccinated individuals in the past week, data from the Department of Public Health shows.
A breakthrough case is when an individual tests positive for COVID-19 after they’ve been fully vaccinated against the disease.
During the same time period between Aug. 14 and 21, the state reported 8,534 new COVID-19 cases among the state’s whole population.
Numbers from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health show there have been 15,739 cases of COVID-19 in fully vaccinated individuals as of Aug. 21. Last week, the DPH reported 12,641 total breakthrough cases of Aug. 14.
The 3,098 positive COVID-19 cases are among the 4.45 million residents considered fully vaccinated in Massachusetts, or about 0.35% of those individuals.
The state health department said 571 of breakthrough cases resulted in hospitalization, an increase of 75 over the previous week. The state said 131 cases resulted in death based on information reported to date, an increase of 7 in the past week.
Massachusetts hospitals have seen a surge in hospitalizations since the Fourth of July, with the number of COVID-19 patients jumping from a low of 80 on July 4 to over 500 as of Monday.”

…………I have come to the conclusion that everyone should continue with the preventative measures with which we began doing last year. I personally remain in continuous QUARANTINE. I have ventured out only to go to my doctor. While I have had a J&J shot I intend to continue with my high C+D+zinc regimen. Beyond that we both simply PRAY. I have acquired all of the auxiliary tools necessary for detecting illness. Having a licensed nurse for a wife seems to have benefits. She has taught me how to use a blood pressure cuff. We will soon have some hydroxychloroquine on hand. At this point in time it can still be purchased without a prescription. The trick is to find a source. All of the drug stores have stated they are sold out,and haven’t any idea when they will have any more. Hydrochloroquine is marketed under several names.

If they confirm what I have suspected the CARNAGE WILL BEGIN SOON THEREAFTER , and Mzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Hobbs,along with the rest of the gang will begin lawyering up. ………..I watched the Charley Pride tribute on CMT. He died in 2020 from Covid 19. The show tonight brought back a whole lot of 1960s, and 1970s memories. I am still a bit choked up. My first wife and I both were into C&W music. We DROVE to Indy to see George Jones in concert. Then later on came Alan Jackson. We both loved them all. Then in 1981 she was taken by God. I still miss her dearly. When you are bonded in true love, it occupies your MIND, your HEART, and your SOUL, and you are bonded for life. Memories are painful, but somehow I manage to get past it.
