Before I continue with corruption in Chicago involving Barack Obama and David Wihelm and asking why they were not indicted, it is appropriate to visit news from June 27, 2008. The Chicago SunTimes reported that newly unsealed documents revealed that prosecutors in the Tony Rezko trial were considering calling witnesses that would implicate Obama in Rezko’s corruption activities.

While none of that came out at trial, today, for the first time, a filing recently unsealed shows the government’s initial intent to call witnesses about that aspect of the case. The judge in the case, Amy St. Eve, ruled that the prosecution could bring up Obama’s name. But they never did. And references to Obama were not only kept out of the trial during his run for the primary — it was kept under seal. Until today.
The filing indicates that the prosecution wanted witnesses to talk about Rezko’s prowess as an Obama fund-raiser and his influence in getting two others — Joseph Aramanda and Semir Sirazi — to donate Rezko money to Obama’s campaigns in their names. The money kicked into Obama’s campaigns came from an illicit kickback scheme. Obama has since donated that money to charity.”

“According to today’s edition of the Chicago Sun-Times, “Barack Obama’s name could have been invoked more at the corruption trial of his former fund-raiser Tony Rezko.” But prosecutors instead chose to focus on the first target of Fitzgerald’s probe: convicted slumlord and notorious Chicago political fixer Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the man who helped Obama purchase his Kenwood mansion in 2005.
The prosecutors’ decision to refrain from discussing Obama’s deep imbrication in the Rezko scandal during the trial does not exonerate the Senator from Illinois, however. I quote US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, who issued the following admonition in the wake of Rezko’s conviction:
U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald said the verdict represented “an antidote to the poison of corruption” that trial testimony alleged included the fixing of state boards that controlled a $40 billion pension fund and made major decisions about million-dollar hospital construction. He expressed hope it would have an effect on Illinois politicians. “If morals don’t get to them, I hope the fear of going to jail does,” Fitzgerald told reporters.
Fitzgerald and the prosecutors are particularly concerned with Obama’s acceptance of “straw” campaign contributions others made on Rezko’s behalf. I quote the Sun-Times:
The Illinois senator was the recipient of “straw” campaign contributions made by others on behalf of Rezko — money that Obama has since given to charities.
The documents indicate that prosecutors considered offering witnesses to explore why Rezko used others to contribute to Obama and also to Blagojevich, and U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve ruled that they could.But they did not end up offering any such testimony during the trial.
“Witnesses will testify that Rezko was a long-standing supporter and fund-raiser of Barack Obama,” prosecutors wrote.
One contribution with which prosecutors are concerned is the donation Joseph Aramanda, an associate of Rezko who is also known as “Individual D” in the superseding indictment Fitzgerald’s prosecutors filed, submitted to Obama in 2004. A Chicago Sun-Times article dated 24 December 2007 summarizes the situation quite succinctly:
Aramanda is identified as “Individual D” in Rezko’s indictment. And when Levine pleaded guilty in October, Aramanda again was listed as “Individual D.”
Aramanda was identified by the Sun-Times as “Individual D,” who allegedly received a $250,000 kickback tied to a scheme to steer lucrative state pension deals to firms and consultants that donated to Blagojevich. Aramanda is not specifically named or charged with criminal wrongdoing in the court papers. He did not return a call seeking comment Saturday.
Aramanda’s son, by the way, was rewarded an internship in Obama’s Senate office in Washington, DC, at the behest of Antoin “Tony” Rezko. Why do the words quid pro quo come to mind unbidden?
Because the evidence the prosecutors presented regarding Obama’s involvement with Rezko and Aramanda is so compelling, Judge St. Eve ruled it was appropriate for prosecutors to invoke the name of Barack Obama during the Rezko trial. All this prompts a few questions:
- Do the prosecutors involved in Operation Board Games intend to broach other aspects of Obama’s deep and problematic entanglements with Antoin “Tony” Rezko?
- Will this scandal resurface after the Democratic Convention in August?
- Is Rezko the first of many corrupt Chicago machine dominoes to fall?
- Are Presidential candidates usually embroiled in fraudulent schemes involving investment firms, the Illinois Teachers’ Pension Fund and questionable campaign contributions?
No Quarter promises to alert readers to any and all developments involing Patrick Fitzgerald, Barack Obama and the unscrupulous Antoin “Tony” Rezko.”

My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also
if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions. Then he asked
why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a
certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that
an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.
The
Government now requires these questions be asked of people on Medicare, and
probably everyone else. Just passing this along for your information: I had to
visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation. One
of the questions on the form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your
house?? My answer was None of your damn business!! So it is out there! It is
either an insurance issue or government intervention. Either way, it is out
there and the second the government gets into your medical records (As they want
to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue and will ultimately result in

Thanks From a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer: I had a doctors
appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very
interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before
seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions: 1. Did I
feel stressed? 2. Did I feel threatened? 3. Did I feel like doing harm to
someone? The nurse then informed me, that if I had answered yes to any of the
questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone
into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.
Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like retired
law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians,
what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama
administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners
potential terrorists. Whether you are a gun owner veteran or not, YOU’VE BEEN
WARNED!!!!! If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be

Way OT, but permit some musings on an early Sat. evening.
My mind has floated back to the early 1960’s when Barry Goldwater was
running for President. I had just been hired by the Phoenix office of one of
the big eight accounting firms – the only female on staff at that time and in
the presence of a number of young bucks just out of college. At lunchtime
we had time for some interesting discussions, and feelings were running high.
You see, just like now, the establishment Eastern Repubs (we now call them “elitists”) had decided that they wanted Rockefeller and not Goldwater as the nominee, because the latter was way to conservative for them. About that time a young man, John Stormer, wrote a book, “None Dare Call it Treason”, which took the country by storm (no pun intended).
We, as well as others, bought scores of these books for distribution. This little book was packed with info re. the inroads Communism had made into all levels of government. One of the young fellows at work openly said that he’d “rather be red than dead”, UNTIL he read the book.
This was multiplied over and over throughout the country. It was the beginning of a real awakening. Goldwater won over the highly touted Rockefeller in the primaries, much to the chagrin of the elitists of the day, but in the general election he lost to Lyndon B. Johnson largely because the Repub elitists failed to give their support to Goldwater.
Here we are almost fifty years later and the leaders of the Repub Party are once again trying to dictate the outcome of the election. They have anointed Romney. If he is “it”, I fear that he will move more towards the center and even left in order to win. He will lose the fervent support of the Tea Partiers and other patriots, and his message is unlikely to be strong enough to overcome all of the insults hurled by the slick, lying Obamites. They are already starting their attacks.
However, we have to live with the hand that we are dealt, make the best of it, and pray that God will intervene in some way.

The other fall out is that more and more Americans are seeing that there is an obvious lack of logic in the decisions and how the courts are acting. They see that something is not right. I am more inclined to believe this was a set up to warn SS members and management, who may know too much about administration operatives and illegal actions, to keep their mouths shut. KInd of like the warning to Seal Team 6 members who knew too much about the Bin Laden raid. This administration has a history of Chicago style thuggery and threats going back to Obama’s first elections in IL. I recall the SS members who spoke out about JFK long after he passed and they retired. Obama needs to be sure nothing is revealed during this election cycle. I don’t think George Mason, Thomas Jefferson or James Madison intended the Constitution to be stretched and contorted so that porn or reading Playboy would be protected under free speech. Again it is a matter of values. It may be your idea of freedom, and it may be currently protected. I think it is filth and demeaning of women. The people who came here like the Pilgrims were often seeking freedom of religion and were strict Christians. Modern society with their sexual revolution has sought freedom to engage in perversion. Christ did not seek to regulate one’s character. He sought to guide one’s beliefs and character. Ones’s character counts in how they use their freedom.
Again, I don’t think the founders intended the Constitution to be contorted so that people could engage in porn and the other sexual perversions many people want to engage in. People who came to this country were deeply religious like the Pilgrims and are probably turning over in their graves with what many do with their low values.

It appears that you too now think as I do. I have to say that this heartens me some because I had begun to wonder if maybe I was wrong. I have been watching the Scott Walker recall action closely,and I believe I know exactly what the LIBS done to get the MILLION alleged signatures on the petition. I believe that thousands of the names were actually taken from OUT OF STATE telephone directories, then somebody signed the name to the petition. It would be really tough to prove otherwise. But all Walker needs to do is request a COURT ORDER to VERIFY the accuracy of each name,and wether or not that person is a registered voter in Wisconsin. That action would toss the Liberal bomb right back in the laps of the perpetrators….where it would explode. This was a tactic used by Soetoro regarding his OFFSHORE FUNDING for his 2008 campaign.

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul achieved consequential delegate wins in Colorado and Minnesota today, affirming his delegate-attainment strategy and auguring a prominent role for Paul at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
In Minnesota, Ron Paul supporters swept the three district conventions that occurred today, winning nine of nine delegates to the national convention. Minnesota is set to hold more such conventions next week.
In Colorado, supporters of the 12-term Congressman from Texas won 12 delegates and 13 alternate delegates. Paul’s state operation is confident that it can win over more of the Rick Santorum delegates to its side who were elected on a combined Paul-Santorum slate. The Paul-Santorum coalition’s combined delegate total is 20—more than establishment candidate Mitt Romney’s estimated 16. In addition, the Paul-Santorum coalition denied Romney delegates all the committee spots within the Colorado National Delegation. Two Ron Paul supporters will serve on the Rules Committee and the Paul coalition dethroned known Romney supporter and Colorado State Party Chairman Ryan Call from his position as Delegation Chairman.

Prosecutors held back on using Obama’s name

Barack Obama’s name could have been invoked more at the corruption trial of his former fund-raiser Tony Rezko.
But it appears prosecutors opted against bringing Obama into the mix during the two-month trial.
Newly unsealed documents show that prosecutors sought to call witnesses to testify about Rezko’s ties to Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.
The Illinois senator was the recipient of “straw” campaign contributions made by others on behalf of Rezko — money that Obama has since given to charities.
The documents indicate that prosecutors considered offering witnesses to explore why Rezko used others to contribute to Obama and also to Blagojevich, and U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve ruled that they could. But they did not end up offering any such testimony during the trial.
“Witnesses will testify that Rezko was a long-standing supporter and fund-raiser of Barack Obama,” prosecutors wrote.
Later, St. Eve ruled that Obama references would be allowed into the trial, but prosecutors apparently opted not to invoke Obama’s name.
