The projected path of Hurricane Irene is more westerly than believed yesterday and is aimed right at Washington, DC.
Congressman Bob Goodlatte has stated that Barack Obama will be investigated if enough evidence surfaces.
“As you know, President Obama recently released to the public the long-form version of his birth certificate. Since then, concerns have been raised about the validity of the birth certificate as well as the claim that the President has been using a Social Security Number previously issued to another person. These concerns have been raised with the relevant oversight committees in the Congress and if there is enough evidence and more experts reach the same conclusions then these claims will lead to an investigation.”

Of course she is now because she plans to remove bo from the campaign for the demRat nomination one way or the other.
Prediction:
Hillary will be the demRat nominee in 2012 as a result of one of the following scenarios:
1) Billary will get bo indicted in Federal Court. Thus making it impossible for him to wage another winning campaign against her.
2) bo will announce that Hillary will be his VP choice in 2012 and he will resign sometime prior to the election.
3) Biden will resign and bo will select Hillary as the new VP.
4) Who knows what EVIL lurks in the hearts of demRats?

“In questions of power,” he urged, “let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.”
Unfortunately, America’s government has long thrown off those constitutional “chains,” resulting in its cancerous growth, massive welfare state, ruinous public debt and freedom-destroying intrusions into every area of the lives of its citizens.
And that was before Obama.
Today, the practice of ignoring, distorting and perverting the Constitution has become a high art. It is, in fact, literally the modus operandi of Barack Obama’s presidency, as stunningly documented in the September issue of Whistleblower, “THE PLOT TO DESTROY THE CONSTITUTION.”
In a relentless campaign to “transform America” from history’s most successful constitutional republic into just one more weak European-style entitlement society based on all-powerful central government and massive wealth “redistribution,” Obama and his administration have shredded the Constitution in every conceivable manner.
Soon after his inauguration, an early tipoff Obama held the Constitution in low esteem was his choice of “czars.” Science czar John Holdren, for instance, is on record saying that in the event of a national emergency, the Constitution would permit compulsory abortions!
And Obama’s powerful regulatory czar Cass Sunstein advocates an entirely new bill of rights – even authoring a book, “The Second Bill of Rights: FDR’s Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need It More than Ever,” in which he advances a disturbingly communist-sounding new set of “rights” for America. These include the government-guaranteed “right” to a job; the “right” to earn enough to provide adequate food, clothing and recreation; the “right” to a decent home, to medical care and to a good education; and many more cradle-to-grave “rights” reminiscent of totalitarian, collectivist societies.
Employing his Alinsky-style, crisis-of-the-day tactics, Obama launched into endless, back-to-back attacks on the Constitution – from giving banks $700 billion of taxpayer money, to unconstitutionally requiring all Americans to buy health insurance; from sneaking in “Cap and Trade”-type regulations through the EPA, to instituting by executive order de facto amnesty for many illegal aliens; from imposing new regulations on gun dealers to going to war with Libya, both without the consent of Congress. “THE PLOT TO DESTROY THE CONSTITUTION” exposes these and many other ways Team Obama is operating entirely outside the United States Constitution.
What about Congress? Can’t legislators stand up to a rogue president and insist he adhere to the “supreme law of the land”? Not likely, since not only do many congressmen and judges hold the Constitution in as low esteem as Obama does, but as Whistleblower documents, a recent poll shows elected officials know less about the Constitution than the general public! Fewer than half of elected “public servants” could correctly answer such basic questions as “Who can declare war?” and “What are the three branches of government?” And only 1 in 7 knew that the phrase “wall of separation” (between church and state) doesn’t appear anywhere in the Constitution.

Yigal Walt of Ynetnews says Obama “is solidifying his status as the worst president in American history. The leader who promised us a bright future of peace and fraternity is leading the American empire – and the rest of the world with it – into a dark abyss.”
“Ever since he settled into the Oval Office, Obama has been hopping from one disaster to the next, making every possible mistake, boosting enemies and disregarding allies while ruining everything he touches in the process,” Walt writes.
“The Return of the Great Depression” warns everyone “it is not over. It has only begun” …
He says Obama was silent when the masses hit Iran’s street and threatened to topple the ayatollah’s regime.
“Why should he support a struggle waged by freedom-hungry citizens against a radical Islamic dictatorship and chronic human rights violator? And so, a rare opportunity to change the face of a state that today constitutes the gravest threat to world and regional peace slipped away.”
Instead, Walt says, Obama buddied up to Syrian President Bashar Assad and remained silent, again, when Assad started butchering his own people.
“For the time being, Obama keeps muttering, Assad keeps murdering, and the world keeps watching and doing nothing,” Walt writes.
Obama is also criticized for allegedly eroding NATO in the effort to oust Libya’s Muammar Gadhafi.
“And so, the once-intimidating NATO alliance found itself entangled above Libya’s deserts for long months in a ‘battle of giants’ against a state whose army is sometimes reminiscent of a Jenin street gang from a decade ago,” says Walt. “Now, with Gadhafi’s rule finally drawing to an end, the president kindly took time off from his vacation to festively declare that the future is in the Libyan people’s hands – while local tribes are preparing for the imminent bloodshed and al-Qaida is reinforcing its hold on the country.”
Walt’s blistering attack on Obama concludes with a fondness communicated for Obama’s predecessor.
“The ongoing disaster called Obama may prompt some of us to apologize to another American president, one George W. Bush,” Walt writes. “He was called stupid, incoherent and naive; he was said to understand nothing and know nothing – yet now it turns out that the cowboy from Texas had a much better grasp on reality than his many critics. Even if his motives were at times as naive as Obama’s, the former president combined them with an iron fist, immense determination and admirable loyalty to his allies.
“Yet Bush is already a distant dream, while Obama is a living and breathing nightmare. Now all that’s left is to wait and see whether America’s citizens will be able to remove him from the White House before he destroys everything.”

To most Democrats, Texas Governor Rick Perry’s candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination has so far seemed somewhat of a joke. At least until now, that is. The Lefty blogosphere has indeed been having a field day ever since Perry announced, over some of Perry’s off-the-cuff comments, both past and present. Today’s news, however, should go a long way towards forcing Democrats to start taking Perry seriously — because according to multiple opinion polls (the first national polls released after Perry jumped in the race), Mitt Romney is no longer the “frontrunner.” Perry is. By double-digits. [Poll data is available from both Real Clear Politics and the Huffington Post, if you’re interested.]
This should force pundits across the political spectrum to re-evaluate Rick Perry’s campaign. Instead of seeing through the lens of: “What my circle of friends thinks of Rick Perry’s gaffes,” this time the pundits should focus a little more closely on: “What Republican primary voters think of Rick Perry as a candidate.” Because, so far, they seem to be flocking to support Perry — to the visible detriment of Mitt Romney’s standing in the polls.
The lesson Democrats never seem to learn is that what they look for in a presidential candidate is just not the same as what Republican primary voters look for. While Democrats were filled with mirth over Perry’s comments (on all sorts of subjects) in the past few weeks, they didn’t notice that not many people over in the Republican base were laughing. “How can a person be taken seriously as a presidential candidate who says/believes X?” was the refrain from the Left, while over on the Right, many voters were actually just fine with Perry’s comments. Perhaps checking some opinion polling among the American public at large, on the subjects of evolution and global warming (for instance) might help.

Private forecaster Weather Services International (WSI) Tuesday increased to 18 from 15 the number of named storms it predicted for the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season.
WSI said it still predicted 8 hurricanes, four of which were expected to strengthen into “`major” hurricanes of Category 3 or higher on the five-step Saffir-Simpson intensity scale, with top winds of at least 110 miles per hour.
While WSI saw more named storms, the number of hurricanes was the same it had projected in its previous July forecast.
WSI updated its storm forecast for the June-through-November period, as the first hurricane of the season, Irene, churned toward the southeast United States.
The United States has put its entire East Coast on alert for Irene.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s decision this week to accept invitations to several key Florida GOP events next month offers him the chance to make progress in a key primary state.
Although he has been officially campaigning only for a week, Perry has already begun to make inroads in the state. On Wednesday, Perry received the endorsement of Florida House Speaker Dean Cannon.
Cannon said in a statement Perry’s record on jobs in Texas sold him. “In the very short time that Gov. Perry has been in the race, lots of people have come on board at a very rapid rate,” he said. “He is energizing a lot of folks who were looking for a candidate who could provide a degree of leadership and passion that they had not found in other candidates.”
