CHICAGO — The U.S. Attorney’s Office will monitor the primary election in Chicago and surrounding suburbs on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, announced today. As part of the monitoring effort, the office will operate a hotline for candidates or the public to call to report any complaints relating to voting. In addition, Assistant U.S. Attorneys will be available to respond to complaints as needed.
The hotline number, staffed on Election Day only, is
(312) 469-6157. “This office has a long tradition of monitoring the polls on Election Day to help protect the integrity of the voting process,” Mr. Fitzgerald said. “No one who is entitled to vote should in any way be inhibited from doing so while, at the same time, no one not entitled to vote should corrupt the election.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Heinze coordinates the office’s election monitoring efforts and subsequent investigations, if any. The Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshals Service will assist in this effort by following-up, if necessary, on any election fraud complaints.
Complaints about ballot access problems or discrimination can also be made directly to the Civil Rights Division’s Voting Section in Washington at 1-800-253-3931 or 202-307-2767. Violations of federal voting rights statutes carry penalties ranging from 1 to 10 years imprisonment and fines up to $250,000.”

I suspect that they want to be perceived as performing duties for a free republic. The reality is that they want to control the complaints so that they can filter them. Something akin to “I don’t need the voters, just the person whom counts the votes” just now it’s “I don’t need the complaints of voter fraud, just the people whom count the complaints”. The ‘Justice’ department has no intention of actually providing for a free and fair election, otherwise they would have prosecuted the black panthers. Nope, they just want to ‘public viewing’ of any illegal voting practices that aren’t partisan democrat.

A federal judge in Chicago today granted a defense request to delay the retrial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-Ill.) from January until April 20, a Chicago source confirms. That would put the trial after the Feb. 22 election and even after a runoff, if necessary, slated for April 5.
That’s all good news for mayoral candidate and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, who was subpoenaed as a defense witnesses at Blago’s first trial but never called. The judge is encouraging defense lawyers to change their tactics, so it could be that Emanuel might fit into their revised case. But, even if he does, he’ll already have been either defeated or elected to the mayor’s job.
A report by CBS Chicago outlined some of the primary anti-Rahm players as being various city council members such as highly influential Ricardo Munez and Ed Smith, as well as Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez – all three of whom were at the same Chicago teachers union rally this past week – a rally Rahm Emanuel was not invited to attend.

In my new Archaeology Magazine Nov/Dec 2010 there is an article re: all the divers-this article didn’t pick up everything, but essentially it is about the divers were/are underwater before Gulf Oil Spill and after they are monitoring the situation(s) also. They show a picture in the magazine of the German Sub U-166 I have to find out where that sub is sunk.

The oil was sighted in West Bay, which covers approximately 35 square miles of open water between Southwest Pass, the main shipping channel of the river, and Tiger Pass near Venice. Boat captains working the BP clean-up effort said they have been reporting large areas of surface oil off the delta for more than a week but have seen little response from BP or the Coast Guard, which is in charge of the clean-up. The captains said most of their sightings have occurred during stretches of calm weather, similar to what the area has experienced most of this week.

The mainstream media’s popular narrative about the causes and cure for the Great Depression invariably start with the storyline that the stock market crash caused the Great Depression. Herbert Hoover purportedly refused to spend government money in an effort to reinvigorate the economy. Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal government spending programs allegedly saved America.
This storyline is a big lie.
The Great Depression was caused by Federal Reserve expansion of the money supply in the 1920s that led to an unsustainable credit-driven boom. When the Federal Reserve belatedly tightened in 1928, it was too late to avoid financial collapse. According to Murray Rothbard, in his book America’s Great Depression, the artificial interference in the economy was a disaster prior to the depression, and government efforts to prop up the economy after the crash of 1929 only made things worse. Government intervention delayed the market’s adjustment and made the road to complete recovery more difficult.
The parallels with today are uncanny. Alan Greenspan expanded the money supply after the dot-com bust, dropped interest rates to 1%, encouraged a credit-driven boom, and created a gigantic housing bubble. By the time the Fed realized they had created a bubble, it was too late. The government response to the 2008 financial collapse has been to expand the money supply, reduce interest rates to 0%, borrow and spend $850 billion on useless make-work pork projects, encourage spending by consumers on cars and appliances, and artificially prop up housing through tax credits and anti-foreclosure programs. The National Debt has been driven higher by $2.7 trillion in the last 18 months.
The government has sustained insolvent Wall Street banks with $700 billion of taxpayer funds and continues to waste taxpayer money on dreadfully run companies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, General Motors, and Chrysler. The government is prolonging the agony by not allowing the real economy to bottom and begin a sound recovery based on savings, investment, and sustainable fiscal policies. President Obama continues to scorn business by creating more burdensome healthcare, financial, and energy regulations.

There was a documentary on that sub not long ago which was aired on the Discovery channel. If it is in relatively shallow water it could become a target of divers who might not realise that there is still torpedoes aboard which by now are extremely unstable. Should anyone attempt to venture inside of the sub they would be putting their lives on the line “BIG TIME” I read where there is a treaty existing which declares all sunken subs as grave sites, and anyone attempting to violate them will be facing very harsh punishment. American Majority Action have opened nine different offices in five states including Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Missouri. Over 100,000 calls have been made in support of liberty-minded candidates who support repealing Obamacare and restoring fiscal sanity in our federal government.
The St. Louis patriots have made over 18,000 calls. The office also send out block-walkers who have knocked on over 2,000 doors. The Jefferson County tea party patriots are leading the block-walking efforts.

A few days ago I posted my letter to our sitting US representative, Michael Burgess. In the letter I stated it was important to follow the constitution, not compromise with the dems, and to provide evidence that BHO is a constitutionally eligible POTUS. Here is his reply to me:

Thank you for contacting me regarding what is most important to you in the upcoming 112th Congress. I appreciate hearing from you on this matter.
It is my hope that the November elections will bring an attitude shift to the U.S. Congress where Members of Congress begin to listen to the American people and only push for legislation which American’s have indicated they support. Each Member of Congress was elected because their constituents felt that they best represented their ideas and opinions. I believe bipartisanship can be important when formulating certain policies. While I do believe it is important to listen and work with other Members of Congress, regardless of party affiliation, to create the best policies for America if they are willing to work towards the same goal, I assure you that I will never compromise my conservative ideals of limited government, fiscal responsibility and personal freedoms.
Regarding President Obama’s eligibility to be President, the White House and the State of Hawaii have issued statements substantiating that President Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii; and I have not seen evidence to the contrary. According to most interpretations of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution by the U.S. Supreme Court, if one is born in the United States then they are a citizen. Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the US Constitution states that:

This means that regardless of the citizenship status of the person’s parents, as long as they were born in the United States, they are citizens and are therefore eligible to be President.

I don’t agree with Juan Williams 95 percent of the time. His tautologocal political antics are comparative to the ultimate roller-coaster ride at Six Flags amusement part and always left me undecided whether or not I enjoyed the ride or felt absolutely nauseated looking for the nearest private facility to releive my stomach.
Nevertheless, I must defend Juan”s comment directed at political Correctness towards Muslims and its ultimately demised attack, its deviation of soon to be near disaster of another attack on Americans. “Emphsis Mine”.
It will happen, again, and continuously. We are at war, and it is with Islam.

Yes, there is a sickening thud in the pit of my stomach (been suspicious or cautious all along) to hear Rep. Issa say what he did to Rush Limbaugh, who emphatically told Issa that we want “Obama stopped” – we don’t want compromise! And yet, that is exactly what is going to happen, I fear, because, after all, the 2012 presidential campaign will begin a few months after the new Congress is seated in January. None of the Repubs is going to want to be blamed for gridlock, which is what the Dems will throw up to them. Sigh.

My family is doing well. I am spending a tremendous amount of time (my personal realignment focus) on getting back into the manufacturing & operations corporate management business, of which I do best in my professional career. In addition, I have focused on my own personal FOIA and research as well as continual advice from various FOIA Legal Attorneys whom Specialize in such catagories prior to filing. It goes without saying I “need all my ducks in a row”, to get it right the first time around.
Lastly, I believe I have come up with a wonderfull entrepreneurial idea for media and currently researching the legal avenues (hurdles), costs, ventures if any, and currently writing out a business plan for hopefully a near layout presentation.
In the meantime, trying to spend time with my family. My plate is, well, simply over-following. This however, is no new news. Most of my entire career, making or saving millions for others annually, restructuring their business, their processes, did not happen without pressure, countless times away from family, but one hell of an aquired knowledge of which I would not trade. I oporate best under pressure, I just have not had that pressure until recently.

Here’s my point, Prairie: The article, in going beyond the part you quoted ,
admits that Israel DOES have a right to a homeland. I don’t personally agree with the boundaries that the bishops seem to feel is right, but nonetheless we have to admit that they do acknowledge that Israel has a right to exist.
However, that is not the inference that one gets from your quote.
Moreover, this was a meeting of bishops from the region – the Middle East.
We would expect a stringent conclusion to come from them, and they would not be necessarily reflecting the opinion of all bishops around the world.

An Alaskan judge who was appointed by Senator Lisa Murkowski’s father ruled today that personal information from conservative Joe Miller’s past must be released to the public.
Retired Superior Court Judge Winston Burbank (on right) opened the state courthouse on Saturday to rule in favor of the Murkowski campaign and far left Alaska media outlets.

Cabby, personally I know nothing about this man. However, there is a blog written by Andrew Bolt, a journalist, who has covered some of his activities.
@Cabby, I just checked and Andrew Bolt does not have much in the way of extra information at the moment.
Several months ago when the first documents were released Bolt had a few things to say about Julian Assuange. The most that I know about him is that he lives in Switzerland, even though he claims to be an Australian citizen.
He avoided capture when he was grabbed over some minor “domestic” issue (at least that is how I remember the news item). He is not that well known in Australia. Probably most Australians would not know that an “Australian” is linked to Wikileaks.
