Glenn Beck medical update, October 13, 2010, The Blaze, Neuropathy, Raynaud’s disease

From Glenn Beck on The Blaze October 13, 2010.

“For the most part, Glenn Beck knows what he doesn’t have: cancer, lupus, or secret Diet Coke nanobots eating through his system. On his radio show Wednesday, Beck updated his listeners regarding his stay at Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute over the last four days, and said his medical problems are not life-threatening.

Beck explained that he may have Raynaud’s disease (which could explain the lack of feeling in his hands and feet) and small fiber neuropothy, but didn’t speculate as to the cause of either. The Raynaud’s he described as “common,” while the neuropothy, he added, could be “kind of dicey.”

For now, doctors do not know what is causing partial paralysis of his vocal chords. But, Beck said, they think the issue could be a virus, instead of a problem with a “major nerve” in his head.

“I had two MRIs, two CAT scans and then I was going into the PET scan, and they said, ‘We’ve read all of the others we don’t think you have cancer,” Beck told listeners on Wednesday.”

  1. Until we get more information, this sounds like good news for Beck and his viewers! It may be possible Glenn could live a long and productive life in spite of this condition. It may mean taking medication and modifying diet or other life habits–but that would be a small price to pay for a full life.

I wish him, his family and staff their highest good!

  2. My sister has had Raynaud’s for years and just recently was diagnosed with inflammatory myapothy. She is loosing muscle at an alarming rate dispite the steroid and chemo treatment.

  3. Listened to beck for 1 minute, he was talking about NONSENSE about how we must all study andrew jackson and manifest destiny. beck needs to retire and turn his audience over to someone who informs rather than misinforms.

CPS of NEW HAMPSHIRE ABUSED NEWBORN CHILD.

Sheriff Department has taken custody of Child from CPS.

PS: Alex Jones will be on live tomorrow at 12 PM EST. Mr. Irish on live now. Doctor confirmed bleeding in child’s vaginal area. Now the child is being taken for examination of sexual abuse while in CPS custody.

Alex Jones just had Mr. Irish on live. He and Ms. Taylor had visitation with their daughter today and they discovered a large amount of blood in her vaginal area after being in the custody of Child Protective Services of New Hampshire. The child was in and out of consciousness and had to be rushed to the hospital.

I don’t know of Mr. Irish’s background, but in my case the Nashville DA Torry Johnson totally fabricated false charges against me, threw me in Jail for 6o Days without a Preliminary Hearing and attempted to have my Child abducted. If they can do it to me, they can do it to anyone.

  4. CW and folks,

Its time for me to say goodbye to all of you wonderful posters, informative as many are, true patriots without doubt and enjoyable reads everyday.

I will always check from time to time on this blog from CW posts. Aussie, Helen, Pete, US Patriot, Philo, FreeSpeech, Cabby AZ, OldSalt, you all are true American Patriots in my eyes as well as our founding fathers having been proud of each of you. I am confident of that thought and history.

My personal time, seeking additional judicial remedy and strategy, coupled with additional challenges, has limited my ability to post in a timely fashion, coherent at the least.

If the need arise, you all have a means to get in touch with me. One of my emails is listed on the Strunk FOIA Affidavit.

Take care everyone, keep up the good fight, as I continue to do as well.

P.S….. don’t just talk and bitch about it in a blog, do something about it, otherwise, you’re just a complaint. Which a fifth grader can do.

  5. Best wishes SirWilliam.

  6. SirWilliam,

Good night and Good Luck in all your endeavors.

  7. Best wishes, Sir William.

Blessing, Peace, Joy and Love to you and yours.

    Sincerely,

    Papoose

  9. FYI Reynauds Phenomenon is associated with a number of forms of arthritis. It is not life threatening.

With regard to Lupus, there are several types of Lupus and the most dangerous form is SLE – that is the systemic form. The other well known form affects the skin.

If the doctors have detected Reynauds then that is kinda good news for Beck. At its most basic level it affects the hands and feet in cold weather in particular. It can be overcome by wearing gloves on the hands. When they ran those blood tests they probably detected some other things in the bloods but nothing that is significant for Lupus.

With the Lupus tests there is one that measure that is an indicator – the ANA. If this goes high then Lupus is suspected. However, there are now other tests that are more specific including a test for anti-coagulant in the blood. Women with Lupus tend to have miscarriages.

With regard to RA (rheumatoid arthritis) there is one test that is an indicator, known as the rheumatoid factor. It can be high but one might not have RA if other tests which are more specific are negative.

It can be that a person is showing indicators of several arthritic diseases but has not developed any of them. It is like being in no man’s land. This is when a person is given the designation of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. It is non-threatening. The good news is that unless any of the diseases begin to progress then the arthritis does less damage, especially to the bones, and especially to one’s fingers and toes.

  10. With his symptoms, I’d say Lyme disease or any tick-borne illness. Drs. are so ignorant about the risk of ticks. It’s the number one infectious disease in the US and they don’t know or even talk about it. He needs to see a lyme disease specialist. Other drs will waste time on tests when those tests are pretty much worthless. More than 200 symptoms can be related to lyme and Glenn has a bunch of them.
