A Houston-area woman says she was a nurse at Houston Methodist for about 10 years until this week.”
On April 1, Houston Methodist announced it would require employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine by June 7. However, the hospital system asked employees who would not get the vaccine to submit documentation for consideration for a medical or religious exemption by May 3.
Fuentes says she made a final effort to voice her concern to save her job at Houston Methodist before turning in her two-weeks notice.
“I just needed a little bit more time and little bit more research to be done,” Fuentes stated.
She adds she wants the clinical trials to be completed before she decides to get the vaccine or not. But stresses she is not against vaccines and gets the flu vaccine every year.
A spokesperson for the hospital system says 90% of employees are vaccinated now, and only two in management have resigned so far.”
“In the meantime, Fuentes says she was prepared to wear masks at work and show lab results of COVID-19 antibodies since she’d recovered from the disease.
She adds, she regularly worked in a surgical unit, but volunteered to work in the COVID-19 unit.”

……….after reading at the link I once again get the feeling that there is still a HELLUVA lot of UNKNOWNS regarding the Covid 19 itself, and the vaccines being used……..but perhaps we should temper this with the knowledge that we ALL crawl before we WALK. This probably applies to everything relating to the Covid 19 virus.
AND,
……..this in principle, is largely why America’s medical community was caught sleeping as the virus spread……..they didn’t have enough reliable information from which to gain any substantial early treatment knowledge.
AND,
……..as each day passes it seems as though there is a very small decline in the rate of new cases of the Covid 19 cases. However I am confident that medical science will EVENTUALLY find a vaccine, or oral treatment which will positively protect folks from becoming infected from the killer virus. In the same vein, I also believe that each, and every human being on earth has varying susceptibility to viral, or bacterial infections. We probably will see a continuing number of people who contract illnesses simply as a result of the foregoing reasons. Perhaps one day some form of HERD IMMUNITY will prevail. Like influenza, there still is not any ABSOLUTE protection from feeling it. Instead we rely upon annual flu shots to protect us. At this point in time it is probable that neither infection will ever be completely eradicated. Instead we will have to alter our lifestyles to reduce the potential as much as we can for contracting the infections. NOT EASY !!!!!!

……….again, as each day passes we see MORE, AND MORE ILLEGAL ALIENS being allowed to walk into our country without any knowledge of their medical history being recorded beforehand. Tuberculosis was once near eradication, but thanks to untested IMMIGRANTS it is now back. All of the money spent over the years in the eradication of the illness was for naught. Thanks to Joe Malarkey and his OPEN DOOR POLICY, there will probably NEVER be a permanent cure for Covid 19 either.
IN CONCLUSION,
……….medical science cannot fix everything. At some point our alleged leaders will need to begin using their brains………that is if they have one to begin with.

……..I think that professional medical people such as nurses can be relied upon to quickly pick up on clinical information as soon as they see it. The same logic goes for a person who is recuperating from an illness. In the case of the fired nurse who had antibodies in her system, the alleged “KNOW IT ALLS” have shot themselves in the foot……they have lost a fully experienced floor nurse because of their adherence to POLICY WHICH WAS PROBABLY COMPOSED by an UNEXPERIENCED ADMINISTRATIVE PENCIL PUSHER.
