FEC 2012 Presidential matching funds for Charles E. Buddy Roemer, Roemer declared eligible, Buddy Roemer for President
From the FEC February 3, 2012.
“Roemer First Presidential Candidate Declared Eligible for Primary Matching Funds in 2012 Race ”
“Charles E. “Buddy” Roemer III on Thursday became the first 2012 presidential candidate to be declared eligible by the Federal Election Commission to receive federal matching funds. Roemer is seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2012.
To become eligible for matching funds, candidates must raise a threshold amount of $100,000 by collecting $5,000 in 20 different states in amounts no greater than $250 from any individual. Other requirements to be declared eligible include agreeing to an overall spending limit, abiding by spending limits in each state, using public funds only for legitimate campaign-related expenses, keeping financial records and permitting an extensive campaign audit.
Based on documents filed by Buddy Roemer for President, Inc. on January 25, 2012, contributions from the following states were verified for threshold purposes: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington. All of the materials included with this submission may be viewed here. Based on Roemer’s initial threshold submission, the Commission will request that the United States Treasury make an initial payment of $100,000 to Roemer’s campaign.
Once declared eligible, campaigns may submit additional contributions for matching funds on the first business day of every month.The U.S. Treasury Department may pay the Commission-certified amounts beginning this month.The maximum amount a primary candidate could receive is currently estimated to be about $22.8 million.
The presidential public funding program is financed through the $3 check-off that appears on individual income tax returns. The program has three elements: grants to parties to help fund their nominating conventions, grants available to nominees to pay for the general election campaign, and matching payments to participating candidates during the primary campaign.
In July and September of 2011, the Commission certified $17,689,800 each to the Republican and Democratic parties for their conventions.The Commission estimates that each general election nominee will be eligible for a grant of approximately $91.2 million.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is an independent regulatory agency that administers and enforces federal campaign finance laws. The FEC has jurisdiction over the financing of campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, the Presidency and the Vice Presidency. Established in 1975, the FEC is composed of six Commissioners who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.”

Liberal Hero Ginsburg To Egypt: South Africa’s Constitution Better Model Than U. S.
In a shocking moment when one realizes Justice Ginsburg is one of nine members of the third branch of our government who’s sole responsibility is to rule on the constitutionality of laws, Ginsburg shows a disdain for our Constitution by bemoaning its age and actually suggests the Egyptians should look to the constitutions of South Africa or Canada instead of using the US Constitution as a model for their own.

In my own personal opinion the values of ALL the members of SCOTUS is in question. Not just Ginsburg.
Obama Speech at National Prayer Breakfast: Insincere Theological Farce
http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/44389
There was a good helping of name dropping in which Obama said various ministers dropped by or phoned him at the White House. He specifically named Joel Hunter and T. D. Jakes. A fully emotionally embellished account of his visit with the Reverend Billy Graham was also added to the obviously perfunctory address. The subtle infusion of Obama’s politics and policy filled the air, and the speech, which the president could hardly disguise, was an attenuation of his usual political rhetoric.
It will be seen by conservative Christianity, that the names and associations he is so willing to use are generally thought of as those who are apostate, liberal and willing to abandon the clear mandates of the Bible for some social contrivance of the hour. This does not make anything the president said any more believable but rather casts doubt on his associations, much like the doubt already in circulation about his over twenty-year relationship with controversial Pastor, William Wright.
Jakes, who once called for Franklin Graham’s apology to Obama for doubting his faith in Christ, said Graham was nuanced by politics. Quoted in Chron.com, May 18, 2011 Jakes said, “I wish he had the diplomacy of his father, who brought the gospel to people without being nuanced by politics because when you do those things you offend people that you are actually called to save and to serve.”
In fact, when Franklin Graham was publicly questioned about Obama’s faith he made no political allusions whatsoever. Rather like anyone discipled in the scriptures he quoted Christ who said “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Mt. 7: 20) The humblest student of the bible will have no trouble telling you that promoting the gay agenda and support for the abortion of the unborn is not, nor can ever be considered a fruit of the Christian faith.

This is what is entering into the highest advisory positions and fulfills the “100 year” Muslim plan, beginning on the state level.
These are troubling times. This was written by a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim. This is not heresy, and it will scare you. Make sure you read the paragraph (in red) towards the end.
http://giveusliberty1776.blogspot.com/
Joys of Muslim Women by Nonie Darwish
In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 7 year old , consummating the marriage by 9. The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy
To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses. Often after a woman has been raped. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives ‘at will’ and the man does not have to say why he has beaten her.
The husband is permitted to have 4 wives and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.
The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.
In the Western World (America) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending US and Canadian Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.
By passing this on, enlightened US and Canadian women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law. Ripping the West in Two. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.
Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to the US in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .
When he died, he was considered a “shahid,” a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law – what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.
For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.
Peace and prosperity for one’s children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.
While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics – one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.
While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.
It’s hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.
While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. and Canada to elect the President or Prime Minister by themselves! Rest assured they will do so… You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA and Canada, Dearborn Mich. is one, Brampton, Ontario is another and there are others…
I think everyone in the U.S. and Canada should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. the peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While the US and Canada are getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on the US and Canada..

All of us who love this country and fear what we see happening to it, this day, are very sad, disappointed and disgusted. The feeling of embarrassment has invaded my emotions as I realize this was most likely a “set up”.
This may well have been charade, from the outset, to try to once and for all shut down opposition to Obama, and for the first time, allowing evidence to be admitted, in a controlled and preconceived outcome. Instead of not allowing the cases to go forward for lack of standing, which has been the case in all other efforts, they may well have decided to let one go to court, not have any of Obama’s people there so they could not be charged with perjury, and then, rule in favor of the Usurper.
There are some very important questions that Judge Malihi needs to answer. This article and these questions are being sent to him.

Liberal Hero Ginsburg To Egypt: South Africa’s Constitution Better Model Than U. S.
******************************************************************
i listened to her full comments. I understood her to say, these newer constitutions she specifically referenced all contain human rights provisions missing from both our original constitution and in the amendments added over the next 200+ years.
Perhaps because our constitution is so old; it was missing a ‘global’ protection for the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Thus, we only seem to address this issue as we go along, by the arduous process of adding amendments; whereas those other documents begin with a commitment to human rights.

Is anyone else out there thinking about where we might be right now if the advice of JBJD had been accepted?
This decision only required one statement to wipe out three separate suits. Sometimes it hurts to be right and I’m sure that JBJD is thinking that right about now. Seems sad in a way considering all the heavy lifting had already been done….for free…
***************************************************************************
cwv, I never say, ‘I told you so.’ Never. We all learn at our own speeds.
FYI, I got a ‘panicked’ email from a long-time reader of “jbjd” who had been relying on LD’s reliance on Minor v. Happersett to persuade her elected officials, Obama was not a NBC. After reading the GA ruling in the administrative hearing, she ripped up her work and is starting from scratch, against the filing deadline.
This is exactly the situation I described with the phrase, detrimental reliance.
But ALJ Malihi is only an ALJ; and his ruling overstepped the scope of his authority. However, that’s the legal outcome; the public relations outcome is devastating. Because having exclaimed, “I won!!!”; and touted the court had ordered the President to appear; and submitted a 200+ page brief championing Minor v. Happersett; those ‘birthers’ who keep getting it wrong (because they keep getting your money) now have nothing left to point to the rightness of their opinion Obama is not a NBC, but a charge, ALJ Malihi, like everyone else who disagrees with them, including “jbjd”; has a hidden agenda.
Hmmmm…constitutions of Canada and South Africa…
Aren’t those based on the British /socialist model?

These are all reasons why Obama refused matching funds in 2008. Spending limits, using the funds for campaign related expenses, keeping records, and allowing extensive audits.
JBJD…
Believe me I was not in any way saying …”I told you so” rather, I was atttempting to stimulate discourse among those who are choosing to cling to an idea which seemingly has already been proven to be, if not false, then the long way around a nefariously vague and inconsistent set of rules/laws. The analogy being the square peg in the round hole so to speak.
I was merely trying to present a different set of facts but I fear I’m being somewhat marginalized here. It’s O.K., as I have gotten a tremendous amount of information and education from this site and will continue to do so.
What you are proposing to the commentors on this site is like castor oil and, as with most of us, the cure is often unpleasant at best and we will resist it even though we know it will only help us in the end. We are more prone to want to go with the path of least resistance. Myself included.

naturalborncitizen Says:

One word about the attorneys not accepting a default decision. And that word is BRAVO! The attorneys deserve credit for standing by their principles. This was not about humiliating Obama in some hollow victory where they could all pat themselves on the back. This was about getting the judicial branch to confront the law and to make a decision on the merits.
The Court wanted no part of issuing something on the merits based upon Judge Malihi’s own opinion. They forced his hand, and in doing so exposed important information concerning the depth of the greatest national security issue this country faces today. This decision by Malihi, and the other judicial decisions which fail horribly at following stare decisis, have exposed the Commander In Chief’s office to being taken over by the child of the very worst foreign despots. The country will probably never recover from this change.
The plaintiffs and their attorneys were not looking to win a hollow victory, but to fairly request judicial determination of the issues. It took great courage to do that, and in doing so they exposed the ugly truth. Their arguments, and those in my brief, (which according to the Court rules, should be part of the public record) are far superior to those in Judge Malihi’s decision, which is devoid of historical accuracy and important context, particularly in that he never discusses the genesis of English common law on this issue, which is Calvin’s Case. He doesn’t discuss it because he can’t do so and justify his opinion.
And now national citizenship as well as POTUS eligibility rests on the back of Justice Horace Gray in Wong Kim Ark, a case which no Judge has ever had more of a personal stake in. Our legal system is a joke because of this. The rest of the world will also recognize the fraud on the court perped by Gray and now followed by so many others. But now that the evil truth of the decision in WKA is becoming common knowledge, history, as it always does, will record those who decided to opt for lies.
History has no blind allegiance to despotism. History is ruthless, and it will not be governed. The truth always outs. And those who are on the wrong side if it, live in shame.
Word up.

I could care less about “public relations”. You seem to be hung up on appearances as are the fogblows. Nothing would have mattered with this judge or the “set up” he “permitted”. They asked him….and this is AFTER he, the court and the SoS has been dissed and insulted….for 2 hours to get everything in with the many expert witnesses who were, btw, given little if any time to establish their professional histories. The judge was pushing Orly to the point that she was appearing to be hostile to her witnesses….”you aren’t listening…..sorry, but our time is so limited”. That set up was not her fault. She was attempting to obey the conditions the judge handed because of all the history and fear of missing a chance or making what seemed at the time a judge giving a chance. The verdict was obviously in when a judge after an admitted default judgement tending, he introduced defense from outside the scope presented to him in order to justify his already established personal judgement. By making such a broad condition that nothing presented mattered he placed the burden of eligibility actually upon the SSA and the govt’s own verification system to prove themselves as worthy of belief. That in itself was “unbelievable”. I don’t believe the NBC will ever work in this time period. There are too many arguing nuances and education/persuasion work to be done for the willing ignorant. But….there is the evidence presented re: the felony of frauding a SSN, using the test mechanisms that would work for anyone else in any other court. No, the fix was in…and the expert witnesses with all of their established findings were blatantly insulted by this judge, making his own little court his own little playground.
Colwarvet…
To expound further on my previous post…and to use the words of a famous comedian…”boy…another fine mess you’ve gotten us into”…
What we have now, considering this debauchery has been going on a long time (yes our parents were living the good life in the 50’s too), is a real mess and I don’t believe there are going to be any easy fixes. So , stop believeing, as I am also guilty, in the Orly Taitz’s that are going to be waving their magic wands and make it all better. This is going to take some real doing by some real lawyers and politicians and judges, and , in the end God forbid, maybe some patriots, before it even begins to get even a little bit better….
The communists fired a shot across our bow way back in the 60’s, and have now given us with a broadside….and we are hit…and the ship of state is taking on water….how bad this is, is becoming more evident every day and we are still waiting around for something to lift us out of the water and carry us to safety…. aint gonna happen. We are going to have to fix this one ourselves and the blogosphere is where it’s going to begin…
What I’m saying here is to tell all your friends, your kids and grandkids especially but, when you do, at least make sure you are telling them the right thing. O.K., now I’m done…

You really are an idealist with visions that only someone viewing from a distance could “hope” for. Again, it’s on the ground that such ideals are tested in the real world of competing ideologies. Our Constitution STILL forms the best foundation, without it being as constantly and easily malleable as those others sited. This is because, as Obama is seeking to do now with the negating of religious rights, all on his own, all by his own assumed power, we still have the privilege to argue….perhaps ad infinitum….to keep those rights without easily throwing the baby out with the bathwater. In Canada they have swiftly already denied those rights without the “burden” of tried and tested and “boring” fights that don’t ruin the basic foundations for all while approving the “sympathies” of the current moments. And it doesn’t appear that any laws, no matter how gracious they have appeared to have been considered worthy of change at the time, have rightly effected the new “springtime” so influenced by our current “leader’s” push to chaos in Egypt and demonstrating how such type of proponents for easy “change” can ruin an already established good foundation and could very well do the same in our own country if ended up in those wrong hands and wrong minds that so easily speak of such urgency to improve on things by the minute.

Do you have someone in mind? So far, in all these years, they don’t seem to have materialized in that reality! I too see the reality….however it’s been “packaged” in appearances….but the reality of the facts haven’t mattered, no matter how they were presented or by whom. And that history is its own reality, no excuses can be made for willful ignorance of those holding the responsibility and power to judge. In all this time, if they don’t know as yet, they should have attempted to educate themselves. There are many very willing to help them understand!
I know…”actions”…but an expedient…lol
And without him currently “surging in the polls”!:
http://m.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
In a potential Election 2012 matchup, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is at 45% while President Obama earns 44%. This is the first time in any poll that Santorum has led the president. Several other GOP challengers have led the president a single time in the polls including Rick Perry, Herman Cain, and Newt Gingrich. Each man briefly held the lead while they were surging in the polls, only to fall quickly. It remains to be seen what will happen to Santorum’s support.
Santorum gets 78% of the Republican vote and leads by ten among those not affiliated with either major party. President Obama get 83% of the Democratic vote in that matchup. Santorum leads by 16 points among men but trails by 12 among women. As is typically the case in all matchups, the president leads among those under 40 while the GOP hopeful leads among those who are over 40.

Judge Traitor Mahili
Ever since I discovered what Judge Mahili did, I have been seriously depressed. It suggests just how lost America really is. It has been difficult to get my thoughts as to why this happened. Then an idea hit me.
Up until the Georgia hearing, all cases brought before the courts were dismissed based only upon “standing”. The “MERITS” of the case were never heard. That has big a major point of contention over the usurper’s eligibility. As long as patriots could argue that the MERITS OF THE CASE WERE NEVER HEARD, it still left Ozero in an arguable position. By setting up Judge Mahili to hear the case on “MERITS” and then ruling in favour of the fraud, Soteoro can now defend himself that the case was heard on the evidence and the evidence was not valid. HE WON!
One more time America has been screwed, ‘blewed’, and tattooed. It is obvious there no longer is justice in the courts. Congress is a dismal failure. Forget the 9 dishonourables. This only leaves us one last hope– revolution. Let’s hope the nation’s sheriffs and our military sides with the constitution and not the Communists!
In regards to “The Forgotten Man”,
What is very interesting about this painting is that when you scroll over our founding fathers, the realization is stark as to how “human” they were. They were not super heroes. They had their faults like everyone. This convinces me all the more that God was fully involved in our country’s inception.
Maybe that should be an encouragement to us as we have such imperfect candidates to choose from for 2012, yet so much is at stake. May God help us and guide us.
it matters not whether O is an NBC, where he was born, who his parents were, where he went to school, SSN#, etc.
The only thing that matters is that this progressive elite machine (whoever they are) managed to create this person with virtually no provable history, without any meaningful and provable record as a legislator and got him elected to the highest office in the world.
This country elected a ghost and now we are dearly paying the price.
Any thinking citizen should see his malfeseance and realize his acts are intentional. A simple look at the situation this country is in compared to the last 60+ years is quite telling. We are broke, without ample energy and will soon be defenseless. We are being set-up for disaster and no one gives a darn.

By raising the idea of religious freedom, you make my point, precisely. That is, our constitution was ratified by the states with no provision for religious freedoms. The freedoms associated with religion, which you praise; only arose years later, through the ratification of the First Amendment. You also claim that our document is somehow superior because it is not easily malleable; although, as I have just pointed out, it is only though this malleability that the original faulty document was changed so as to include those religious freedoms you tout as evidencing its superior value!
It appears that you are more interested in making your point, whatever that point is; than in meaning precisely what you say.

Your initial argument then for copying other nation’s approach just fell apart. You are now defending a greater malleability in our own document than you defined originally in its lack of such qualities. Sorry, but you can’t have it both ways. Your inference was that such laborious time consuming change really didn’t keep up with the rapidly changing times as did others seemingly more preferable in your mind. You are now making MY point that it has worked, in the long run, as a more stable document allowing its formation to permeate the national conscience. That is far better for a nation than any slipshod manner of even perhaps politically correct immediate change for change’s sake.
_______________________________________It appears that you are more interested in making your point, whatever that point is; than in meaning precisely what you say.
==================================
Well, it would appear that you got my point, being as exercised as your reaction demonstrates….the problem is that you simply don’t agree and that never sets too well with you.
It simply becomes beyond ridiculous when I continue to hear attorneys supporting Obama as well as his paid trolling minions intertwining the English Common law with that of the U.S. common law pertaining to natural born citizen. Lets consider history briefly.
Under the old English common law doctrine of natural-born subject, birth itself was an act of naturalization that required no prior consent or demand of expressed allegiance to the nation in advance. Furthermore, birth was viewed as enjoining a “perpetual allegiance” upon all that could never be severed or altered by any change of time or act of anyone. England’s “perpetual allegiance” due from birth was extremely unpopular in this country; often referred to as absurd barbarism, or simply perpetual nonsense. America went to war with England over the doctrine behind “natural-born subject” in June of 1812.
Because Britain considered all who were born within the dominions of the crown to be its natural-born subjects even after becoming naturalized citizens of the United States, led to British vessels blockading American ports. Under the British blockade, every American ship entering or leaving was boarded by soldiers in search of British born subjects. At least 6,000 American citizens who were found to be British natural-born subjects were pressed into military service on behalf of the British Empire, and thus, the reason we went to war…
Does one honestly think that after the war of 1812 over the English Doctrine of “natural-born-citizen”, the United States in turn adopted the same common law English doctrine? That’s just asinine.

Although I have a sophisticated, highly evolved sense of humor,
there is a limit.

My apologies, bad joke.
There was Conspiracy Therory floating around once that this blog was sold to FS.
Moderation. Test
In addition,
I replied on the previous post this morning my own opinion pertaining to the GA ruling in which I am bring forward for other to review. It follows:
– I was pondering on this GA ruling last night and this morning and have come up with a plausible conclusion.
I kept asking myself; why did the judge in GA use the ruling from the State of Indiana. Certainly this judge knows the presenting evidence was based on the U.S. Supreme Court, which supersedes any State ruling. Then it dawned on me!
The GA judge used the ruling in Indiana for one simple purpose, avoid conflict! In other words, had the Judge in GA used the Supreme Court ruling on NBC, it would have created a “Conflicting Ruling” between 2 States, both with different conclusions. This in turn creates a ripe situation to file with the U.S. Supreme Court. When 2 States make different legal interpretations of the Constitution, the U.S. Supreme Court must rule to determine which State is correct (if any).
This would have been the perfect storm to get the U.S. Supreme Court involved and force them to rule on NBC. Something they said they are avoiding.
Just my opinion though.
I will add this afterthought,
I don’t believe that the appeals will yield a different result, as this would also create the same conflict between 2 different State interpretations.
I also believe that even if the exact rules of challenges proposed by jbjd were followed to a “T”, the result from the judge would somehow been different. (No offense jbjd)
I simply believe that no matter which attorney, nor which set of rules followed, there is no way in hell the State of GA is going to submit a different ruling than that of the State of Indiana pertaining to the qualification definitions of natural born citizen, article 2, and eligibility to be listed on a State ballot. This is a very serious conflict of State-to-State interpretations.
just food for thought.
Hi William,
I’m not a lawyer but I understand your point. This judge doesn’t want to go down in history as the one who tipped the balance… thus setting off a row of dominoes to who knows where and to what ultimate end. Riots? Race wars?
I can almost understand… almost but not completely
What i missed the ruling? oh the out come was what i predicted. The media runs america!!!!!! the song goes should i stay or should i go now!! if i stay there will be trouble. the media will not report on this. they are the purse strings for eveything. its a farce. obama is afraid of something and it will be exposed at the right time. its like a ace waiting to be played.
correction in my last sentence.

SueQ,
I understand. As of now, I’m all over the place in my thoughts and typing far too fast making many mistakes and not being precise. Hopefully, you and others understand the paradigm presented. Mostly due to frustration and lack of confidence with our government.

*************************************************************
Ah, way to misstate my original comments. I complained the original document of our constitution, when discovered to be flawed, could only correct these flaws through an arduous process, compared to other constitutions which were drafted without these flaws. My original comments suggested that starting out right might have been the preference indicated in Justice Ginsberg’s comments. You, on the other hand, lauded the basic document, equally lauding the difficulty of altering that document; and, at the same time, pointed as one of the beauties of that document, the fact, we enjoy religious freedom. I merely pointed out the self-contradiction in your remarks, that is, we don’t have religious freedom in the original document; but only through the arduous amendment process.
Some people seem to have a knee-jerk response to anything they perceive as even hinting at criticism of those American icons they hold dear. And while religion was added as an amendment to the constitution 3 years after the initial ratification; ask yourself whether those women who couldn’t vote for the next 150 years; or blacks who were property for the next 80 years; or gays whose only protection remains through state by state action; or even those victims of religious persecution in those 3 years between the ratification of the constitution and of the 1st amendment; would have preferred a constitution that began by guaranteeing these rights in the first place.
Justice Ginsberg was speaking to newly formed democracies. Her advice to craft a new constitution based on a model newer than ours sounds good to me. Because those examples she listed, already incorporate the personal liberties I mention above, which are absent from our 250-year-old document.
No new news as a surprise,
Entrance polls favor Romney in Nevada!!!
“The GOP candidate expects to benefit enormously from the number of Mormon voters in the caucuses.”
Really? You think? And the polls are proving to be correct? No way….>??
Sarcastic on my part of course. As I said weeks ago, even days ago, Ron Paul will take nothing from Florida, neither will Newt. I was 100% correct. I said Ron Paul poured focus into Nevada instead, which he did, and said it would still not benefit him nor Newt, and I’m right again. They (Newt and Paul) are attempting to sway votes in highly Mormon religious States, which is near impossible. But hey, they tried. Mitt will walk away with the most during Feb. Newt being second, and Ron Paul in 3nd (again).
Now that is soon to change as the Central Southern States are upcoming which will pull in favor Newt, thus bringing the 2 Candidates (Mitt and Newt) back to parallel numbers. Ron Paul, again finishing in 3nd throughout the Southern States. Then we get to head back to the Northern States, whereby Mitt will pull back ahead or maintain his slight lead above Newt, in his hometown States. Nowhere is Ron Paul seen in the picture thus far… We are now into late May.
I am kind of suprised Santorum did not do better.
RP could still take 2nd according to CNN.
William you are right, Newt will do better in the south. But if you look at the Fla map his support was mostly rural. Probably farmers wanting subsidies.
Pat,
As I said (look it up if you wish) last week, Santorum will be the next drop out, mostly due to lack of funds. later that week (6 days later to be exact), Ron Paul news and national news, state the same thing.
Its not difficult to analyze. Mitt will be (Unfortunately) the GOP Candidate to face off with Obama, in which turn, he will lose.
“Its not difficult to analyze. Mitt will be (Unfortunately) the GOP Candidate to face off with Obama, in which turn, he will lose.”
I disagree.
Pat,
There is only one (1) State that I am struggling to understand thus far, and that is California. I am not confident which direction delegates will sway. The primary reason is because of the “Straw Polls”. Straw Polls can and are misleading, depending on a few variables; such candidate, State, ect…
But when it comes to Ron Paul straw polling, it is an extreme anomaly, as it is well proven his followers “flood” such polls. In turn, this skews data and become difficult for analysis. Nevertheless, even with the massive flood of Ron Paul straw poll results in California, the comparable data with voters in that State show (in my analysis and research) Mitt Romney as the winner.
We shall see.
I think the GOP nominee can win. Polls show Santorum can win too.

============================
I know that is a bit difficult for contemporaries to quite grasp the various periods in our/world history as being, shall we say, not quite as easily summed up, when living them, as some quick survey of those times from a pedestal of today’s ridiculous sense of instant anything. But in the ridiculous assumptions of the moment these days it would be good to remember that “human rights” of our day can mean something different every day and not necessarily based upon the natural law. Thus, to have some mushy easily changeable document to play with nowadays is nothing to laud.
____________ Some people seem to have a knee-jerk response to anything they perceive as even hinting at criticism of those American icons they hold dear.
=========================================
Pardon me but I don’t believe that a preference for an entirely new document is something that was “hinting at criticism” however it is now conveniently redressed!! I believe that Ginsberg also prefers borrowing from some universally recognized court of law….thus a more secularized thing that would give meaning to the well known description of “all animals are equal but some are more equal than others”! And it would appear that such a model of quick moving document for human rights as South Africa’s is having its own lag time in getting traction: 15 years and still working on women’s rights….to advise Egypt where Sharia law is gaining more ground to copy a place where women are still struggling under their own “law” sounds a bit out of touch and rather lacking reason.

PBS’s Moyers Says Saul Alinsky ‘A Good American’February 4, 2012 at 10:28 am – PBS
Dateline: America
Bill Moyers used his Friday night PBS show to defend community organizing icon Saul Alinsky from Newt Gingrich’s recent attacks. Alinsky’s 1971 book “Rules for Radicals,” which was dedicated to Lucifer, popularized many organizing tactics.
Moyers quipped “Maybe that’s why Newt Gingrich has been slandering Alinsky’s name,” Moyers said. “Maybe he’s afraid. Afraid the very white folks he’s been rousing to a frenzy will discover who Saul Alinsky really was. A patriot, in a long line of patriots, who scorned the malignant narcissism of duplicitous politicians and taught every day Americans to think for themselves and to fight together for a better life. That’s the American way, and any good historian would know it.”
Bill Moyers makes me sick.

Judge Traitor Mahili
******************************************
Having read the critiques of both Leo and Mario, I am very impressed with their ability to aptly convey their legal opinions as to Judge Malihi’s ruling. I love to read the writings of lawyers who communicate so extremely well, and I also have a great deal of admiration for their work. Their explanations have helped me to sort out exactly what happened yesterday in GA. They have shown how bad his ruling is, based on the rules of statutory construction as well as on other points of good law.
If you haven’t read their latest, I urge everyone to do so; therefore, I won’t try here to summarize the grave discrepancies in the judge’s ruling. The other aspect of this entire scenario simply boils down to the fact that we have witnessed once again the heavy hand of the Obama machine upon a court, regardless of whether that court was a part of the administrative branch or not.
The judge has even contradicted himself considering what he ruled on a prior case. He was “gotten to” by someone, either before he decided to hold the hearing or afterwards. I personally feel that it was before and he continued with it, allowing the plaintiffs to present their cases for the sole purpose of ruling in Obama’s favor. It was one big charade.
Now as you say, usapatriots, Obama can use this going forward to support his claims that he has a right to the presidency. It won’t be a sound basis, but what does he care? Does the media care? Who does care, except us so-called “birthers”?
Help, I’m in moderation!! (about Judge Malihi at 9:33 pm)
Bill Moyers is as red as they make ’em.
Employees at Bunny Ranch endorse Ron Paul because he wants to legalize prostitution. I can see the SNL skit now. Really? Really?
Ron Paul wants to legalize pot, wants to legalize prostitution, doesn’t mind gay marriage, doesn’t mind porn and is supported by Barry Manilow, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Moore. Whatever happened to the GOP of family values?
newt and santorum can’t win. They haven’t qualified in all the states so they won’t be able to gain enough delegates. They are only spoilers that will take delegates away from Ron Paul. If you want the elitist RINO Romney to win the republican nomination then lose to obama, keep voting for newt and santorum.
I guess you didn’t see this by liberal pollsters:

jbjd – 1:20 pm
Perhaps because our constitution is so old; it was missing a ‘global’ protection for the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Thus, we only seem to address this issue as we go along, by the arduous process of adding amendments; whereas those other documents begin with a commitment to human rights.
***************************************
jbjd, with all due respect, that first sentence just doesn’t set well with me. The age of our Constitution has nothing to do with it. It stands on its own and never needs changing.
The Amendments never changed the original Constitution nor do they supersede it, nor should they be considered “in tandem” with it. These Amendments were added throughout the years in order to do just that – supplement the original, which will always stand on its own.
The Amendments guarantee certain specific liberties (Bill of Rights), specific instructions re. selection of our leaders, granting broader voting rights, and other various matters.
As far as “missing a ‘global’ protection for the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”, why should we even think of our Constitution in terms of ‘global’ under any circumstances? I see your point somewhat, but fear that your legal training and political leanings were such that you are not coming from a background of pure conservative thought. That is the reason that many of us here take exception at times with your analyses.
I definitely mean no offense, because you have done a vast amount of work re. the Obama problem and how to prevent him from being re-elected. You are to be commended for your efforts.

Your family values shouldn’t be legislated by government.
CW, if I could talk to you face to face, this is what I would like to say.
It has been about two years ago that I first discovered your great blog. Just new to the computer (a “senior”, as you know) I was searching around for info re. Obama’s BC and other eligibility issues and found CW’s. Your knowledge about those matters was very impressive, and I also liked the way folks were commenting. Therefore, I had to jump in and become a part of this family.
Like in every family there have been ups and downs, but one thing remains constant, and that is YOU and your steadiness and perseverance in bringing to us the very latest re. all things Obama, as well as other important matters, too. You deserve much more credit than you get, I’m sure, but please know that you ARE appreciated even though we don’t speak of it enough.
Now here is another aspect that has really hit home with me the last couple of days. Our movement has received a seemingly severe set-back with the GA debacle, and I sense it has touched most of us to the core. If ever we feel a need for the sense of community – a gathering place, if you will – it is now. It is a place to get fortified and renewed. There will be more such times to come, also.
It means so much to me personally ( I bet others feel the same way) to be able to “unload”, expound, share thoughts and articles, etc., because in living alone I don’t have many that are in the same league to talk with as we do find here. Just sharing with and learning from others is very therapeutic and also helpful to the cause that we all are working for.
So, (I don’t have your gift of brevity, CW) thank you sincerely for your efforts and for providing this blog – this meeting place. You have to be deeply devoted to this work to carry on as you do. May God bless you and your efforts!!
Fine, Kim. But that is not the GOP. This is the GOP. It has never been pro pot, pro prostitution, and pro gay marriage. That is not the platform. There is a party platform.
Secondly, don’t assume Santorum is taking away votes from Ron Paul. Santorum is anti Iran, pro supporting Israel, Non truther, and pro family values. His voters could go to Newt or Romney mostly, but he is not dropping out.
Great thoughts, Cabby.
Wow Cabby, very well said and I concur.
Great work C.W.
Cabby,
Thank you for your wonderful note to CW. You expressed beautifully that which I’ve often felt. I know that I don’t do the research that many others do but I do try to stay informed. Reading current events here and on other sites is far more valuable to me than watching the network news. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with Malihi’s ruling. I hope that conservatives can stick together to influence the November election. I thank all of you for your contributions and gratefullly thank CW for opening this forum for us.

Ann Romney is a class act. She’s warm and friendly, and would make a great first lady. Others would too, I am sure, but just saying, I am sure she is proud of our country.
With RP, you can pursue whatever your beliefs are because he will defend your freedoms. That is all the federal government is supposed to do. If people continue to be deceived and divided along party lines, our country will fall.

Saul Alinsky has this in the front of his book:
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical; from all our legends, mythology, and history…….the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer. ”

Anyone who commends Satan (Lucifer) is off the wall, regardless of whether actually a Marxist, or not. His work has affected many who don’t seem to be doing good in our country, so in my book, he has had an evil influence. Furthermore, his “rules” are not those that square with what we know to be good and true.

As I have said all along, the (R) candidate has to be able to raise 1 billion to defeat b-ho. IMO Romney can do that and defeat b-ho.
Is Mitt the perfect candidate. No
None of them are. The man I wanted ( Jim Demint ) didn’t run.
I almost choked on my mcds tonite. They forcecu to watch cnn in mcdonalds now. Only station. They said unemployment would be 11 percent if not for obama keeping it at bay. The bold face 1000 precent lies cnn. Certified nonsense news
Jim Demint would have been really great. I am beginning to agree with you, Pat, on Romney. His speech tonight was great. I think his wife, Ann, will appeal to many people all over the country. I still like Santorum and Newt. They all have strengths and weaknesses, but I can support Romney too.
Tina | February 5, 2012 at 12:10 am |
I think Jim D. is positioning himself for 2016.
1. if b-ho manages to hang on.
2. If the (R) wins and the economy does not turn around, or the(R) turns out to be another Bush.
The real problem for Republicans are the voters deriving their income from Government. (including farm subsidies). They will mostly vote D-RAT.
Honor First……………Ref ; Search engine.
There is a search engine which I used for a number of years which is called Copernic. Unfortunately it interferred with the IP, who was the Verizon. Of course that doesn’t mean that it would interfere with OTHER IPs. It searches 10 engines at once. I havn’t uased it for a couple of years but you might want to consider it. You can get all the pertinents by typing into your IP search engine one word…..Copernic. It manufactured in Quebec. It worked very well for me. Unfortunately it was not compatible with VERIZON,and they were quick to let me know that this was coming from my system. I could probably go back to using it again because I left VERIZON. I am now back on Comcast.
Observer…………….
I have a question for you. If I read what you are saying correctly you believe that our Constitution is FLAWED because it does not apply tothe rest of the world. Then I ask what makes you believe that our Constitution SHOULD apply to the rest of the world. I have always been taught that it applied ONLY to US Citizens. I think that this is the basis which the FRAMERS had in mind as well. It has NEVER need “MALLEABILITY” for over 200 years so why is it so necessary that the Constitrution be re written to apply to the world instead of our country only. There are a few people who believe that the Constitution is a FLAWED document. Most of the critics have long ago been clearly shown to have errant interpretations as to the contents of our LAW OF THE LAND.
…………I do agree that the amandments that were added, only made the document BETTER for American citizens both male and female,as well as blacks,whites,reds,and yellows. So in that context I would say that it ALREADY does apply to “people of the world” who have been naturalised,and are citizens of the US. Fortunately the framers saw a need to keep immigrants from becoming eligible to hold the office of POTUS. So they added the NBC requirement to the eligibility of the POTUS. Now we have people like Rubio,Soetoro,and probably many others who think that IMMIGRANTS are ELIGIBLE. These are the people who TRY to make everybody think that the Constitution is FLAWED. Just my opinion,no offense to anyone!

The Forgotten Man – Jon McNaughton
What has President Obama done?
Against the background of a darkening sky, all of the past Presidents of the United States gather before the White House, as if to commemorate some great event. In the left hand corner of the painting sits a man. That man, with his head bowed appears distraught and hopeless as he contemplates his future. Some of the past Presidents try to console him while looking in the direction of the modern Presidents as if to say, “What have you done?” Many of these modern Presidents, seemingly oblivious to anything other than themselves, appear to be congratulating each other on their great accomplishments. In front of the man, paper trash is blowing in the wind. Crumpled dollar bills, legislative documents, and, like a whisper—the U.S. Constitution beneath the foot of Barack Obama.

With all the mess in NEVADA you people ought to be up in arms what is going on……..can you say VOTER FRAUD…BIG TIME….it is MORE prevalent than ever…..just in my precinct alone…..they let folks vote before the caucus and they counted their votes…..once the caucus completed I stood over the chairperson and watched the count…there were more votes than people on the registration roster which I had to demand to see….they tried to sweep it under the rug…..I demanded a recount and told them I was going to contest it!!! They finally pulled out the sheet where they let the 3 people register early and vote…who knows how many other places they did this in……lots more I’m sure went on in other places…..NO FREAKIN’ WAY NEWTARD COULD HAVE MORE VOTES THAN DR. PAUL…..NO WAY…..HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE A CAMPAIGN GOING ON HERE EXCEPT THE LAST FEW WEEKS WHEN ADELSON BOUGHT THOSE VOTERS…..THIS IS A CRIME PEOPLE……I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS THIS BAD BUT IT IS……WE MUST REVOLT IF WE ARE EVER TO HAVE A FAIR ELECTION!!!!
Here’s another report from the same building that I was at and another Ron Paul supporter observed……This report is from Bill H…
“This caucus process sure looks like a mess from my perspective. Many of you were in small caucuses that, I would imagine, are more easily controlled. Mine and others at the site were sitting ducks for fraud and error.
We had 100+/- caucus voters and shared a large room with two other, slightly smaller, precincts. It wasn’t possible to verify that all that received ballots were properly eligible to cast them. We couldn’t even be certain that any one person submitted only one ballot. Ballots were issued, and extras returned by a volunteer, to the site manager with a vague notion of security. But should I have desired, I could have easily stuffed the ballot box. We don’t even know if all the bodies in the seats were registered Republicans.
With an inability to check ID’s at the door, anyone could have come in and received a ballot. Sure, we checked the ID,s of those that came to the table but if they didn’t do that we would not have known. There’s a count of how many checked in and how many ballots were cast but we couldn’t even be sure those numbers matched — many arrived after the count from which we requested our ballots. And since they were flowing in in drips and drabs, keeping track was not a reality.”
Later on that night it was reported that 13 precincts had given NEWTard 50% of the vote at each place and they were ALL inaccurate…….NOW we are going into a RECOUNT in my COUNTY….more to come later…..WAKE UP PEOPLE …….WE ARE NO LONGER FREE!!!!!
I have to say…..the only good thing to come out of NEVADA voter fraud is they didn’t steal our delegates…..even though my precinct went for Romney……out of 9 delegates 4 RON PAUL supporters got in……WE WILL RULE the COUNTY CONVENTION and THAT IS HOW IT IS DONE FOLKS!!!

——————————————————————————
You are going to “rule the COUNTY convention?” What does this mean and how can you rule anything if you don’t have the most delegates?
HERE are the facts……I used them in my speech yesterday for Dr. Paul….this is REALITY……IT WILL BE RON PAUL or BO……you all need to get behind RP if you truly want to get rid of BO……the split in the party lines will NOT help anyone…..even ROMNEY…..here it is….
And we all know who wins the elections, don’t we. The candidate who secures the swing vote, the independent vote! HERE are the statistics…..the ever growing INDEPENDENT voter is at 40%……31% are DEMS…..27% say they are REPUBS…….Right NOW Ron Paul has 47% of all INDEPENDENT voters….this number is the highest among all candidates including BO…….UNLESS RP is nominated the majority of his supporters go away from the GOP…..many will either write him in or vote for a 3rd party candidate unless for some reason the good doc runs with someone on a 3rd party ticket………anyway…..most likely that would only spell 4 more years of BO…..however at this point in time with all the corruption and voting fraud I doubt anyone beats BO…..it’s most likely already fixed!
CBS must have screwed up when they put out this info….wonder whose head is on the chopping block….UMMMMM…
CBS Poll: Independents Prefer Ron Paul Vs Obama
http://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2012/01/09/cbs-poll-independents-prefer-ron-paul-vs-obama/
Below are comments II found under the article….I know many who have already made the pledge to do the following……..
“I have a made a promise (and so have a lot of my friends) that if Dr. Paul is not nominated, NO REPUBLICAN WILL RECEIVE MY VOTE. And that’s speaking as a Republican of 30 years. I’ve even set up a website http://RonPaulPromise.com where you can pledge to Dr. Paul as well. I’m not going to let the only candidate I’ve seen in the past 30 years that isn’t the lesser of two evils slip by! My vote might well be the one that elects my senators, congressmen, state senators, councilmen, governors, judges, etc. but I’m willing to pass it up if Ron Paul isn’t on the ticket. You WILL provide us with candidates that adhere to the Liberty platform or we will make sure that NONE OF YOU are reelected.”
Another comment:
“I’ve been voting Republican my whole life, have had county chairman and republican politicians in my family, and despite that… should Ron Paul not win the party’s nomination, I either will write him in or vote in disgust for Obama. The Republican Party (and maybe even the country) may never have the opportunity it has right now to vote for someone who is driven by both intellectual honesty and the principal of liberty… to blow that would be unconscionable in consideration of what we are taught our flag symbolizes.”
ONE MORE:
“As Paul’s messages get out this lead will only grow. In addition to the young people and Independents he brings the GOP should also consider the large portion of their voters +/- 20 % that will stay home or vote 3rd party if Paul is not the GOP nominee. Fact is only RP can beat Obama. The unanswered question is whether the Tea Party put country before corporation for a change (because the GOP establishment surely will not) and start supporting Paul before it is too late or will they punt? The establishment is hoping the TP will punt with Santorum because they will be happy with still getting 90% of the giveaways they would have had anyway from Obama?”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It means RON PAUL will have MORE delegates at the county convention than the other candidates!!! The JOKE they did yesterday was a straw poll….sort of a beauty pageant you might say…..it’s all about the DELEGATES……maybe you should do some researching and find out why!!! Most people don’t understand the political process….luckily the vote yesterday was just a sham……good thing too….as there was a lot of error in the counts! DELEGATES…..DELEGATES…..DELEGATES….THAT IS WHAT COUNTS!
RP is not going to win because the establishment won’t let him. If someone weren’t on top of the matter quickly in Iowa, the mantra that Romney is unbeatable would have been sealed by now. Santorum’s unexpected win followed by Gingrich in S.C. threw a monkey wrench into the machine. The establishment realized that they had to work harder to eliminate the competition. Someone from Obama Conspiracy Theories has done very good analysis on the race so far, and he noted the rise of Paul’s popularity and showed the numbers. He is tripling, quadrupling the results he had from 2008. Realistically, though, he will not become the nominee. Not all of the RP independents will stay home. Many will rally around the nominee. I have a good friend who promoted RP in 2008 just as you are now. She ended up supporting McCain (because of Palin).
I personally am behind Santorum, but even with the striking headline showing him edging out Obama in a Rasmussen poll, I think his chances of becoming the nominee are extremely slim. If Romney is the nominee, I would vote for him because he can only be better, no worse, than Obama. Romney can’t relate to the average Joe, but the average Joe doesn’t have the power in the presidential elections. I was hopeful after the 2010 election results, but there has been no unification around a non-establishment candidate. The independents rule and as long as they can see Obama as the disaster that he is, they will come around to the nominee, which will not be RP, as valiant as your efforts (and many others) are. I appreciate your efforts in supporting your candidate, but your commenting here to the degree that you are takes away from where you should be putting your efforts. All you are accomplishing here is ticking many people off. CW will not interfere with your commenting because he believes in freedom of expression, but is your limited time best spent here?
OOOPS…OMG….if this is true…….
Newt Gingrich, Lesbian Shocker?
By Larry Johnson on February 4, 2012 at 2:32 PM in Current Affairs
Got your attention? Well, read on. News today is that Gingrich is planning to hold a press conference after the Nevada caucuses wrap up. This comes as the National Enquirer hits the stands today with the blaring headline, NEWT GINGRICH’S WIFE, LESBIAN SHOCKER.
Oh oh. Remember when the National Enquirer reported that John Edwards was screwing around and had a love child? So ask yourself, would the National Enquirer risk a lawsuit by making a false, unsubstantiated claim against the potential First Lady?
Is this why Newt is going to hold a press conference? Fold his tent rather than put his family life under further scrutiny?
I don’t think this kind of allegation, if true, necessarily is disqualifying. If it is false Newt may become the owner of the Enquirer. If this story catches legs then Newt is toast with the Christian right. My issue with Gingrich remains his lack of competence, not his wife’s sexual preference. How can you trust someone to be a competent President when he fails to meet the basic requirements to be on the ballot in Virginia, Missouri or Arizona?
But this week, he expanded the ass clownery and raised further questions about his focus:
Gingrich has had a rough time on the trail ahead of the Nevada Caucus, the first presidential contest in the West. Sources in or close to his campaign gave reporters incorrect information that Donald Trump would endorse Gingrich (he endorsed rival Mitt Romney). Gingrich also missed a meeting with the Silver State’s popular governor, Brian Sandoval, a Rick Perry supporter who was viewed as a possible Gingrich endorsement after Perry dropped out and endorsed the former House Speaker, according to The New York Times.
Newt ought to spend less time on “BIG IDEAS” and more time on ensuring that his campaign at least appears competent.
Anyway, has anyone read the Enquirer piece? What do you think?
http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/64827/newt-gingrich-lesbian-shocker/
Maybe that is why Santorum was so sure last night that people would start coming his way.
Here’s a few comments I found under the article about NEWTard’s wife being a Lesbian….sure makes a lot of sense….NO WAY he beat Ron Paul in NEVADA!!!
“Gingrich has never had any popular support in any of his multiple campaign for President. Usually he can’t get any decent amount of people to show up for his rallies or campaign stumps of any kind. He usually has lingered in the low single digits and had to drop out. He hasn’t been able to raise money especially among grassroots people. Even this campaign he was geting very low numbers until the media started pushing him hard and he started getting all this multiple millions in foriegn interests money into PACS buying ads promoting him. And still he has touble getting anyone to show up at his rallies. Yet he magically gets all these votes without any signs of grassroots support aka: yard signs, people at rallies, vocal grassroots supporters on the internet and talk radio. It was investigated and determined by a high tech internet programing firm that 92 percent of his twitter supporters were fake. Ron paul has all visible signs or overwhelming grassroots support yet magically it never shows up in the caucus and primary reported results. As a matter of fact even with his media admitted hard core growing base of support, Ron Paul is now magicaly and suspiciousy getting lower reported votes than the polls right before each primary and caucus. How can that be? Well with unverifiable computerized voting nearly everywhere on machines programmed by only a very few people…well anything is possible it is apparent. Like mass murderer Joe Stalin said “I don’t care how the people vote as long as I control who counts the vote.” The criminal syndicate who owns the Federal Reserve have Trillions ”
Another comment:
“Of all the things they could’ve exposed the CFR-Bilderberger Newt with at the NE, they went with THIS?
If they’d pointed to his foreword in Alvin Toffler’s book “The Third Wave”, it would’ve been a much bigger “shocker” what with his advancing the cause of the end of American sovereignty for a one-world-government and all…
But hey, no, let’s go with the lesbo story; it’s not like we’re not bought and paid for like the “mainstream media” we supposedly don’t belong to after all. ”
Another comment:
“The only reason Newt is in the race is, he is being paid to take air time away from Ron Paul. Why else would a man with no obvious morals, values, or organizational skills stick around for. “
I know the DOC is disappointed from the NEVADA results…..I’m sure he expected much higher results……….but he plugs on……
Ron Paul Interview On ABC This Week After Nevada 02/05/12
Newt is taking votes from Rick Santorum. Newt is pro America, pro Israel, pro defense, anti border fence and anti Iran. So is Santorum. Ron Paul is none of these things. He is pro pot, pro gay marriage, pro prostitution, pro Iran, and anti border fence. The recent polling shows that the Democrats and naive college students, are supporting Ron Paul, not the tea party, not social conservatives, etc. If Newt drops out, his supporters could mostly go to Santorum and Romney. Only a few would go to Ron Paul.
Sorry, meant to say Newt is pro border fence. Newt’s rich supporter says he will support Romney if Newt drops out, not Ron Paul.
Ron Paul Supporters Speak Out At Adelson Caucus In Nevada 02/04/12
JS…What “COUNTY” are you referring to? There is the Republican National Convention, which I’m assuming that you were referring to… I know plenty about the political process, by the way. Also, if Ron Paul doesn’t bring the most delegates how are they going to “rule the process”. I suggest if you want to be at all taken seriously that a bit of decorum would be prudent, but that’s just my opinion. Have at it, I suppose.
What county do you think I’m talking about……MINE of course! Before we get to the National convention there are others to do through first….IF RON PAUL collects more delegates than the others then guess who they are going to vote for…..when I go to the convention MY voice will be heard because I’m voting for Ron Paul…..those 40 folks that voted in the beauty pageant in my precinct won’t be heard because they aren’t delegates! BINGO!
I have been thinking really hard and have come to this conclusion:
Romney “will” be the choice no matter what we want.
Our only hope is to stack the congress with people that will uphold their oath to the Constitution. That way, no matter who wins the election, congress will be able to hold him/her in line. But, without a honorable congress (which we don’t have now) we will (the country) be lost and I don’t believe we will ever get it back.
Just the thoughts of a dumb ole (Natural Born Citizen) Country boy!
Coot,
I think you’re right about that, but does that mean that you won’t vote for Romney in the general election? I will, even though I am a Paul supporter now. When that day comes it will be ABO as far as I’m concerned.
I believe you are definitely on the right track here. If our focus were to shift to owning at least two thirds of our government I agree that the executive will be neutralized. Additionally, there will be a more direct benefit to the individual states affecting more of the constituency as a whole and giving us an even greater voice when it comes to changing the system.
My question remains….what do we do about the judicial? It seems to be the root of all the suffering we are currently experiencing. Who will protect us from our protectors? re. (Caligula)
For the Truth About Ron Paul, Skip the Article and Read the Comments
by Jaret Glenn
This election cycle, the American media seems determined to set the narrative, regardless of the inconvenience of facts. At the top of their list of priorities has been to destroy Ron Paul, no matter the cost. They have ignored him, ridiculed him, deliberately misrepresented his positions before attacking him on those false premises, conveniently neglected to report on almost all of his straw poll victories, and incessantly repeated the “he can’t win” mantra. Indeed, Ron Paul’s name is seldom mentioned anywhere without that caveat attached to it. For proof of this, one need only Google “Ron Paul” and read a few current articles. Paul’s treatment by the media has been so blatantly biased that even The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart ran a segment highlighting it. Ironically, that segment, which contained clips of several reporters suggesting that Paul and his views are unpopular, was the most-viewed of all Daily Show segments in 2011… by far.
One might argue that the media’s treatment of Paul is appropriate, given his mediocre results in the first few caucus and primary states. However, this is a symptom of the media blackout of Paul and not a reflection of his real support. The reality is that there is an enormous disparity between what is really happening on the ground and the media’s reports. Consider these facts that have been ignored or were severely underreported, at best:
· Ron Paul has decisively won every single post-debate poll conducted by the network that hosted that debate. This was the case in 2007-2008 as well.
· Ron Paul has won nearly every straw poll held in the country over the last two years. He continues to win them and they are not reported by any major media outlet.
· Ron Paul receives more campaign contributions from active duty military than all other Republican candidates put together.
· Ron Paul is the only military veteran remaining in the race.
· Ron Paul correctly predicted the housing crisis in 2002 and voted against the Community Reinvestment Act, tried to close the open line of credit to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and has been trying to open the books at the Fed for decades.
· Ron Paul fought for an audit of the Federal Reserve. When it finally passed a few years ago, we learned that the Fed spent nearly $16 trillion bailing out their cronies in 2008 and 2009.
· Ron Paul stated in 2007 that we should remove troops from Afghanistan because Osama bin Laden was most likely hiding in Pakistan.
· Though criticized for being “anti-Semitic”, Paul’s foreign policy position of allowing Israel to defend herself and regain her self-reliance and autonomy match up exactly with the requests made by Benjamin Netanyahu in front of the US Congress last Fall.
How did I learn these things about Ron Paul? To be sure, this information did not come from any mainstream articles or news reports. It was all found in the comments section below these poorly-researched (or deliberately false) articles written about him. In fact, a treasure trove of information about Paul can be found by reading comments in defense of him underneath articles packed full of straw-man arguments, smears, name-calling, half-truths, and bald-faced lies. This is because Ron Paul’s supporters are easily the most studied of all supporters on economics, history, philosophy, and current events.
The truth about Ron Paul is that he’s a doctor, veteran, 12-term Congressman, husband of 54 years, and a brilliant (yet humble) libertarian. Every vote he’s ever taken in the House has been in support of the Constitution. This makes him the single most conservative Congressman in the last 100 years or more. He’s pro-life, pro-gun, and pro-civil liberties. His supporters started the tea party. He’s probably done more than any one man to influence the Occupy movement as well. Though much is said about his inability to win the Republican nomination; any objective reporter would agree that he is the only candidate in the race with the ability to secure votes from Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Tea Partiers, Occupiers, and the hordes of apathetic voters who have given up on the political process in this country altogether. So Google “Ron Paul”, then do yourself a favor: skip the article and read the comments.
That’s debatable that YOU are highly intelligent….PERIOD! Wonder why your buddy didn’t know that to get to the National convention you go through the counties??? Guess you don’t know what is going on after all!
William. Looks like Mitt is going run away with this primary. As Coot suggested, time to work on getting a conservative Congress elected. Its actually more important to do this than to put all hope behind one man( no matter how lightly they they may tread on water 🙂
This is how the PAUL supporters prevail…..
It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.
— Samuel Adams
The president of Boston College in 1950 said if the rate of television consumption were to keep up, in fifty years (2000), America would be a nation of morons. Well, call him a prophet.
“Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one’s self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all.” ~ Michael Rivero
JS@1:50
Who is Michael Rivero? What he said gives me pause.
Final numbers in Adelson:
Paul 183 (58%).
Romney 61 (19%).
Gingrich 57 (18%).
Santorum 16 (5%).
It is interesting that the only live/transparent voting has the opposite numbers from any other county. It would be interesting to have video evidence from other county vote counts.
Vote count in GOP caucus continuing in Nevada’s largest county
Volunteers count caucus ballots for the second straight day at Clark County GOP headquarters in Las Vegas Sunday, Feb. 5.
By Anjeanette Damon (contact)
The voting ended half a day ago. The networks have called the race. The GOP presidential candidates have delivered their speeches and left the state.
And, still, party officials in Nevada’s largest county continue to count the vote.
“We are going to get this right,” Clark County Chairman David Gibbs told the Las Vegas Sun today. “If it takes us a little bit of time to get it rights, we are going to take the time.”
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was declared the victor of the Nevada caucuses Saturday evening, based on results from the rest of the state and entrance polls conducted by major media organizations.
With 70 percent of the vote counted, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was in second place, with U.S. Rep. Ron Paul trailing in third by just shy of 1,000 votes.
After working until 4 a.m. Sunday, a handful of a volunteers resumed working through boxes of paper ballots this morning, verifying the vote count done at each precinct nearly 24 hours ago.
County party officials were unwilling to release the numbers from the precinct counts until each ballot was certified. And they are doing it all by hand.
“We want to make sure the count at the precinct was accurate,” Gibbs said.
With just half of the vote counted, officials have already discovered some discrepancies. In some precincts, the number of ballots did not match the number of voters who signed in to participate in the caucus.
Gibbs said the ballots in those precincts are being set aside so officials can decide how to deal with the problem. He declined to estimate how many votes were in question.
State party secretary Jim DeGraffenreid said they are still determining “the facts” and then will decide how to proceed, but acknowledged the ballots from those precincts may be dumped from the results.
“That is a possibility,” he said.
The mismatched prompted U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign to complain about a “lack of process and poorly run locations.”
A lawyer for Romney’s campaign is watching the count and observers from other campaigns have been invited.
NO William….you are the bumbling idiot! Anyone who has to toot their own horn and say they are INTELLIGENT means it isn’t recognized by others! Deal with it!
NO Jacqlyn…what that means is I am intelligent in understanding how a federal election process works. YOU claim all other are stupid.
You failed to state and address the FALSE claims you made against Paxson.
DEAL WITH IT. Your lies. PERIOD.
P.S. time for you to bring others over from additional sites.
…Sigh….
Jacqlyn,
You mentioned earlier that you were presently involved in 2 legal ongoing law suits. Please name them.
You also mentioned you were a speaker for Ron Paul.. your exact words were: “HERE are the facts……I used them in my speech yesterday for Dr. Paul…”
Please name the news agency that covered your speech, youtube videos ect., showing your speech on behalf of Ron Paul. As you have also said on multiple occasions, you are in fact an elector and (as you said) “I am an insider on Dr. Ron Paul’s” campaign.
JS,
Some of what you say is worth consideration. But much that you say is with such a combative tone. It seems like you are out to pick a fight. I don’t consider Paxson or William (or anyone else here for that matter) enemies, even though probably neither of them are Paul supporters. I’m thinking you need to work on your delivery(?)!
JS,
Is your goal to persuade people? Your method is not working.
SueQ,
I will answer your question directly. No, I am not a Ron Paul supporter for President. I am however a supporter of Ron Paul as a Congressman. I also support many of Ron Paul’s work in the House. I am also not a supporter of Mitt nor Newt. But JS wouldn’t know that, simply as she rants and raves all are Ignorant, stupid, blind, sheeple’s, and many additional insulting childish name calling for those that do not entirely agree with her.
But fear not SueQ. As in the archive of CW site, is the same thing she [JS] did when she went off with the 9/11 Truthers movement, and then the RAP, whereby she claimed the same. The RAP organization elected a so-called President, of which JS participated, including a Congress and claimed they were taking over the WH. Also claimed (surmising) high ranking military such as Naval Commanders, NATO, World Banking, where all under her control as a participate of the newly elected president. And if you didn’t believe her, she flooded the CW site with links to “Prove it”. All others were simply sheeple’s, ignorant of law, processes, ect.
If anyone disagreed with such tactics presented by JS of the overthrow of the Government and not respect the newly elected U.S. Government, were stupid. She in turn flooded this site (and many more, reason she is banned from them) with cohorts and fellow followers, patting each other on the back with consecutive comments in order to support each other.
So now you know SueQ. And now, she is a speaker for Ron Paul and an insider of his political campaign – allegedly.
P.S. you may want to address her as Congresswoman Smith.
SueQ,
The next words out of you mouth reading this should be…Holy Sh…..t…
Thanks William,
Sadly I am not surprised at your revelations concerning Congresswoman Smith. It is hard supporting Paul when he has so many wacko followers.
I guess I defer to Kim. She stated at one point (wish I could find her direct quote) that he was scandal free, married for 50+ years to the same women, wants to audit the Fed, did pro-bono service for poor people, has always believed in personal liberty and freedom… and may I just say… God wants you to have that freedom also… to make your own choice between good and evil. Yes, we are (or should be) a nation of laws, and to harm another should carry a punishment. A foreign country should expect retaliation if they directly threaten us. Other than that, we should mind our own business.
SueQ,
I understand and agree. There is only one Ron Paul Supporter that is intelligent enough to discuss his policies, and that is I.B.
Gee William,
Are you calling me stupid?
SueQ,
Just to elaborate briefly; minding our own business per se, can and has historically proven become the quagmire and entrapment, whether through economics, financing or military threats by foreign entities. It is not as simple as “you didn’t invade us, therefore we will not invade you” and therefore whatever happens in the world in none of our business -policy. That is simply redundant, blind and purely ignorant. (Not that you said that, I am).
SueQ,
On another note. I will be spending my time with family watching the superbowl, which is now singing, thus I will make my comment brief. I am going to spend the next couple of weeks pulling up all comments, links, videos, ect., posted by JS in the Archive, as well as a few other sites, compile them and send them to the Ron Paul Campaign Manager.
She is an official speaker for Ron Paul, and an electorate. They need to know about Congresswomen Smith representing Ron Paul.
William thinks everyone should bow down to his every whim…..NOT…typical male chauvinist PIG…..when they dish it…..I can dish it back with the best of them….should tell you how sick he is when he wants to spend hours looking up my comments…..what a FREAK!
JS,
Is your goal to persuade people? Your method is not working.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am here to put up information about things going on in our world…..I am NOT here to persuade anyone…..you can take it or leave it…..just know that I am very aware of the corruption in our government and the world as a whole…..what is about to come down in the near future will be very hard for MOST Americans to swallow……when the sunshine is finally allowed to shine in you will then KNOW I was right…….much is out of the public eye right now but when the time is right you will be in SHOCK to say the least! BTW…..have you watched the interviews with the ex-Navy Seal who is the latest whistle blower on our military and government……he is being hidden right now for his safety other wise they would try to kill him!
SueQ,
Sorry, I should have said a couple of Ron Paul supports. Didn’t mean to exclude you. You do make great posts pertaining to RP and others.
In order to receive those matching funds, Buddy Roemer had to receive a minimum number of donations from several different states, totaling a minimum amount. All of those donations were received while he was running as a Republican for the Republican nomination.
If the people who gave the donations, and I was one, would have known that he was going to switch to a third party– the secret big money financed Americans Elect — and be running against the Republican nominee, would they have made their donation? I would not have given the donation if I had known that he would do that.
It is wrong for Roemer to receive donations and then $285K in matching funds to use in his campaign against the Republican party when he received those donations and those matching funds on the false representation that he was operating a Republican party campaign. Anyone who receives donations while campaigning in one party should not be able to use those donations as the basis for matching funds and then use the original donations and the matching funds to run a campaign in another party.
If you would like to learn more about Buddy Roemer, go to this website and read the comments by Buddy’s supporters and a critic. Also examine the web pages they cite, which will provide you with independent analysis.
