Glenn Beck medical tests, Neuropathy diagnosis, Feeling in hands and feet

I was aware that Glenn Beck was having some medical issues. Although Beck has been dead wrong on the Obama eligibility issues, he is a likeable guy and I wish him the best. This was posted on recently.

“This morning on his radio program, Glenn Beck discussed in more detail some of the physical challenges he’s been facing. Glenn told his audience that he will be taking several days off next week to undergo tests at a hospital “out west.”

On recent broadcasts he’s discussed that he has been having problems with feeling in his hands and feet. Today he explained that “small fiber” issues may be involved but that testing will provide more understanding. “We don’t even know what all of the symptoms are at this point,“ he explained adding that he believes ”physical, mental and spiritual are all tied.“ By ”small fibers,” he was referring to the possibility of a small fiber neuropathy diagnosis. But that is just one possibility among many things that will be considered.

Glenn also said the listeners may have noticed a change in how he sounds on the air. He said he’s been having problems with his vocal cords and that doctors will also be examining this problem.

Glenn talked at length about how the bond he has with his radio audience has been built on a foundation of disclosure and that he felt it was important for him to share as much information as he could, “So that you will understand my mindset.””

God bless and protect Glenn Beck.

  1. CW – I too will pray for Glenn Beck’s health. I would hope also all here will pray for the family of Roger Grooter’s. A real tragedy –

Here is the saddest story of the day. FS should read this as it about the Gulf pollution. You wont hear anything on the MSM about this –

“Cyclist raising money for spill killed in crash”

Here is his daily diary –

A Prayer for his wife Vicki and family.

Word to Free Speech and Emudude,

I’d also like to know if the judge has allowed the actual “confession” as evidence in the case as well. With 26 states involved in this I just don’t see how this gets brushed off short of Zero allowing ObamaCare to die on repeal its own.

I’m hopeful the SCOTUS smackdown is inevitable.

The significant thing about the Amicus is that it signals a way to get the issue of bo’s ineligibility attached to cases with “standing” like the State of Virginia.

  5. Shortly after Zero’s bill was passed I recall myself predicting its sheer bulk, complexity and unpopularity would be the very thing that would hang him.

  7. A few months ago 912 project asked that we pray for Glenn Beck. I thought it was for threats against him and his staff. I agreed to do so and have prayed for him and his staff ever since. Perhaps, 912 asked because of Glenn’s health.

Though I am very disappointed about Beck’s failure to objectively deal with the the eligibility issue or acknowledge Lt. Col. Lakin. I have felt his work on exposing the “Progressive/Communist/Facist anti American pigs has been out standing. The work he has done on bringing us the often suppressed true history of America has been inspiring.

I will continue to pray for Glen Beck, his family, and his staff. I pray for their highest good and trust the Holy Spirit knows and will do what is best for Glenn. I fear if Glenn should become silenced for any reason, it would be a painful loss for America and the world. It is believed that those with serious illness who have many people praying for them fair better than those who do not. Prayer truly is powerful and many miracles have sprung from prayer.

  8. “Steve Pearce and President Obama’s original birth certificate that not even, nor have been able to obtain.”

“So to date nobody has seen our President’s original birth certificate which is confirmed by both, and the same would go for except Dr Fukino. So the headline should read combining all these two Fact Checking web sites together:

“We tried to obtain our President’s original birth certificate but were unsuccessful but Dr Fukino has seen the original and has verified that our President is a natural born citizen.”, and

So we are left with relying upon one state official’s statement that our President is a natural born citizen via the “original birth certificate”. I repeat no one except Dr Fukino has seen that certificate. Actually Dr Fukino confirms it exists and so then the next natural and proper journalistic question should be: Why not release it? And that is the reason why this issue has yet to go away. That question has not been answered as most news groups have ignored the question all together being mislead by statements similar to those at
I am not a “birther” nor a racist nor a hater but I do see why the issue has yet to go away and I hope I have made a reasonable argument why as opposed to the other reasons that the left has given namely that “birthers” are all racists. That argument is getting so old from the left that it is getting more and more absurd and ridiculous not to mention making them appear very desperate.”

Yes, Truthseeker, I agree. bo’s demise is a result of his legislative Blitzkreig, like hitler, bo over extended himself, but we must remember bo is just the tip of the iceberg, we must bring all of his co-conspirators to justice, from DC down to the County and State levels of government.

Donilon fought off housing regulation proposals

Fannie & Freddie: Making sense of the mortgage backers
WASHINGTON (AP) — Before President Barack Obama picked him to be his next national security adviser, Tom Donilon was a lobbyist for mortgage giant Fannie Mae and fought off congressional attempts to impose new regulations.
As Fannie Mae’s legal counsel and top strategic thinker in the late 1990s to the middle of this decade, Donilon left his sizable imprint on the company long before its takeover by the government amid the wreckage of the housing market. By that time, Donilon had moved on, well before what critics said was a day of reckoning after years of inadequate regulation and lax oversight.
In early 2008, seven months before disaster struck, Fannie Mae and its smaller cousin, Freddie Mac, held in their portfolios or guaranteed $4.9 trillion in home-mortgage debt. The government took over Freddie Mac the same day. Their rescue has cost taxpayers more than $148 billion so far.

  13. Glenn also said they will be testing for toxins. When he asked for prayers, he asked that they not be for healing, but rather for the desire to continue doing what he does. He said he will continue, but that the problem is that is doesn’t want to. He indicated that he is having difficulty reading about what these progressives have been up to & trying to understand their thinking. He said he feels like he is trying to pull himself out of the slime & that “what you gaze upon, you become.” Not sure where he goes from here.

Lloyd Marcus was there, as well. I had a front row seat, probably about 20 feet from the stage. Glenn seemed different that day. I feel very fortunate I was able to attend.

Our Founding Fathers never intended for us to be lorded over by corrupt criminals in the White House and Congress. To the contrary, our Founding Fathers intended for We the People to have control over our Government and our politicians.

That is one of the primary reasons that they bestowed upon us that extraordinary Bill of Rights which provided for the Grand Jury System controlled by the people not the politicians.

In our Founding Fathers’ prescient wisdom, they designed a Grand Jury System in which no man, not even the President of the United States, is above the Law.

I think that I know exactly how Beck feels. I have had diabetic neuropathy in both feet, ankles and lower legs. Diabetic neuropathy cannot be cured. It is a progression, and gets worse over time, eventually leading to possible amputation of the affected parts. I have been hoping that God will issue a subpoena for me before the chopping off begins. Maybe I will get lucky.

Recent headlines surrounding Glenn Beck’s health problems could be a face-saving ploy to pave the way for his exit from Fox News, which could be a reason why Beck has become increasingly hardcore in recent weeks, knowing that he is on his way out

  19. Free Speech………………………………
Isn’t it a case where NBC is concerned that even if Soetoro was born in Hawaii, would he still not be an NBC simply because he was not born to both parents who were both citizens. Further since SAD was underage she was unable to confer citizenship upon BODY ODOR. In addition his father was NOT even a US citizen. If this is accurate then irregardless of WHERE he was born he cannot legally hold the office of POTUSbecause he is NOT a NBC.

The loss of American jobs and the compression of consumer income by low wages has removed consumer demand as the driving force of the economy. This is the reason expansionary monetary and fiscal policies are having no effect.

The latest jobs report issued today shows that America’s transformation into a third world economy continues.

  21. Free Speech…………………….
Since there has NEVER been any evidence uncovered that his alleged birth name of Barrack Hussein Obama was ever legally re instated, diligent searches of court records across the US was undertaken,by skilled court employees, To date no records of a name change petition have been found. This is public record and available from most court records archives. If this is all accurate then he is not even legally the POTUS. The people voted for Obama. His name is Soetoro. He is legally Barry Soetoro, not Obama.

U.S. Won’t Recover Lost Jobs Until March 2020 At Current Pace

The current jobs slump also is the deepest of any in the post-war era, with payrolls down as much as 6.1%.

(Unemployment held at 9.6% last month as the separate household employment survey reported an increase in jobs. But the underemployment rate rose 0.4 point to 17.1%, matching the 2010 high.)

The bottom line: It’s quite possible that the next recession will hit before the U.S. returns to old employment highs.

In fact, the unemployment situation is getting worse, and many leading economists say that – under Mr. Bernanke’s leadership – America is suffering a permanent destruction of jobs.
For example, JPMorgan Chase’s Chief Economist Bruce Kasman told Bloomberg:

[We’ve had a] permanent destruction of hundreds of thousands of jobs in industries from housing to finance.
The chief economists for Wells Fargo Securities, John Silvia, says:

Companies “really have diminished their willingness to hire labor for any production level,” Silvia said. “It’s really a strategic change,” where companies will be keeping fewer employees for any particular level of sales, in good times and bad, he said.

As the New York Times pointed out in July[10] :

Include [those who have given up looking for a job and those part-time workers who want to be working full time] — as the Labor Department does when calculating its broadest measure of the job market — and the rate reached 23.5 percent in Oregon this spring, according to a New York Times analysis of state-by-state data. It was 21.5 percent in both Michigan and Rhode Island and 20.3 percent in California. In Tennessee, Nevada and several other states that have relied heavily on manufacturing or housing, the rate was just under 20 percent this spring and may have since surpassed it.

Indeed, the chief of the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank -Dennis Lockhart – said in August 2009:

If one considers the people who would like a job but have stopped looking — so-called discouraged workers — and those who are working fewer hours than they want, the unemployment rate would move from the official 9.4 percent to 16 percent. [11]

Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich notes:

Over the past three months annual wage growth has plummeted to just 0.7%. At the same time, furloughs — requiring workers to take unpaid vacations — are on the rise: recent surveys show 17% of companies imposing them. [12]

Unfortunately, many experts – including the following people – have said that the economic crisis which started in 2008 could be worse than the Great Depression:

•Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke said on July 26, 2009:

A lot of things happened, a lot came together, [and] created probably the worst financial crisis, certainly since the Great Depression and possibly even including the Great Depression. [25]
•Economics professors Barry Eichengreen and and Kevin H. O’Rourke said that world-wide conditions are worse than during a comparable period during the Great Depression [26] (updated in June 2009 [27])

•Investment advisor, risk expert and bestselling author Nassim Nicholas Taleb said that the current crisis could be “vastly worse” than the Great Depression [28]
•Former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker believes the current crisis may be even worse than the Depression [29]
•Nobel prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz said “this is worse than the Great Depression” [30]
•Economics scholar and former Federal Reserve Governor Frederick Mishkin said that conditions were worse than during the Depression [31]
•Well-known PhD economist PhD Economist Marc Faber believes this could be far worse than the Great Depression[32]
•Former Goldman Sachs chairman John Whitehead thinks that the current slump is worse than the Depression [33]
•Morgan Stanley’s UK equity strategist Graham Secker predicts economic collapse worse than the Great Depression [34]
•Former chief credit officer at Fannie Mae Edward J. Pinto said in January 2009 that the current housing crisis was worse than the Depression, and that current efforts to rescue the mortgage industry are less successful than those used during the 1930s. [35]
•Billionaire investor George Soros said in February 2009 that the current economic turbulence is actually more severe than during the Great Depression, comparing the current situation to the demise of the Soviet Union. [36]

Absolute proof the Founders knew and accepted Vattel`s French “naturels” to mean “natural born” – by: Teo the Bear @

Found in the Library of Congress Website

If you look at Article III in the body of the text below, you will see,

Going down further to the end you will find under number 3,

The respective Consuls and Vice Consuls shall only be taken from among the natural born subjects of the power nominating them. They shall all be appointed by their respective Sovereign, and in Consequence of such appointment they shall not exercise any traffic or commerce whatsoever either on their own account, or on account of any other

Translation by Charles Thomson secretary of the Continental Congress

This is pretty convincing proof that the framers did not need to wait for the 1797 translated edition of Vattel’s Law of Nations. It appears they were well apt to translate it themselves. This accepted translation of ‘naturel’ in 1781, predates John Jay’s 1787 letter to George Washington by 6 years.

[Comment by CDR K: This ‘naturels’ means ‘natural born’ translation in 1781 was subsequently confirmed by the 1797 translation of the part of the relevant sentence and paragraph in Vattel’s Law of Nation, Vol.1, Chapter 19, Section 212, that is, “natural-born Citizens, are those born in the country, to parents who are citizens”. Many of the founders and framers were fluent in French since it was the diplomatic language of that time. Thus when the founders and framers wrote the Constitution in 1787 they clearly knew what “natural born Citizen” meant when they upgraded the Citizenship requirement in Article II from simply being a “born Citizen” as proposed by Hamilton to that of being a “natural born Citizen” as recommended by Jay as a strong check against foreign influence on the persons in the future who would be President and Commander of the military. And that meaning was understood to be a person born in the country to parents who are Citizens of the country. Such a person has sole allegiance and unity of citizenship at birth to only the United States. That was the intent of the founders and framers for that legal term of art, natural born Citizen, in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution. This restriction on the type of Citizen who could be President was a national security issue to them back then and it is still a national security issue to us now.]

  31. citizenwells | October 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |

    Hi CW,

Allow me to chime in on this one.

The answer to your question is ‘yes!’ Poisons, toxins, and heavy metals, such as thallium, lead, arsenic and mercury can cause P.N. Also, certain antibiotics and antivirals can cause it, as can exposure to industrial chemicals. Any substance that can negatively affect the body (and translate to the nerves) may play a role in P.N.

Strangely enough, some Chinese herbal medicines contain high amounts of arsenic and mercury. Many are manufactured in China, so those taking them should read the ingredients, or have someone translate them if they’re in Chinese.

We had an ‘incident’ a few weeks ago where a local 6th grader brought *1/2 pint* of liquid mercury into class for ‘show and tell.’ I can’t begin to tell you the response that generated; hundreds of kids and adults were exposed, tested, and are now being monitored for, among other symptoms, Peripheral Neuropathy.

Now, we have no way of knowing the meds Glenn is on or what he’s been exposed to, but a Tox screening would answer a lot of questions. I’m sure his docs are on this like white on rice.

    Hope this helps…

  32. My husband said many toxins could cause Glen Beck,s symptoms. It seems to me that it would be very difficult to get to Glen without also getting to his wife and children. These people, however, are extremely dangerous and should never be underestimated. This bears watching.

    Hi Jonah,

Howareya? Did you dislodge that ‘powder puff’ tail yet? I still giggle about that :).

Alive and kickin’ but as we Bostonians say, ‘wicked busy!’

Colleagues and I have our eyeballs on Glenn’s situation from the tox perspective. Will post when I have something to share; it could be just about anything at this point. Time to narrow the field of possibilities…

  36. Glenn has diabete, most likely his neuropathy is a result of diabetes.

    What are diabetic neuropathies?
Diabetic neuropathies are a family of nerve disorders caused by diabetes. People with diabetes can, over time, develop nerve damage throughout the body. Some people with nerve damage have no symptoms. Others may have symptoms such as pain, tingling, or numbness—loss of feeling—in the hands, arms, feet, and legs. Nerve problems can occur in every organ system, including the digestive tract, heart, and sex organs.

About 60 to 70 percent of people with diabetes have some form of neuropathy. People with diabetes can develop nerve problems at any time…

  37. They’re talking about Glen’s health and the poison factor over at Free Republic too.

    Glenn Beck’s health

    LTC Lakin sitrep

    October 9, 2010

I use Google Chrome for a browser so this wasn’t apparent to me. But Dr. C. at points out the following:

I have no way of knowing whether LtC Terry Lakin authorized the use of his image to sell tax advice, bridge loans, auto liability insurance, and whatever other advertising attaches itself to his photo over at WorldNetDaily (hover mouse anywhere over the photo at WND for maximum advertising effect). Nonetheless, I think this image, as much as any other, points out how this honorable, but confused, soldier has become the tool of [select a name].

Of course when viewed in MSIE you can see what the doctor ordered.Advertisement

If LTC Lakin has done this deliberately, then he has created a problem for himself with the Joint Ethics Regulation, an enforceable order. On this however I doubt LTC Lakin has any specific fault. He’s likely being taken advantage of. But I wonder how he thought all of this might play out.

  40. Free Speech,
Respectfully, diabetic neuropathy are peripheral neuropathies, not central. No matter how bad the diabetic neuropathy it would be incredibly rare to loose thier voice or vocal cord control. Diabetic neuropathy is related to poorly controlled diabetes, and related to vitamin b12 metabolism, as l-isomer substitutes such as Metanx, have statistically positive improvement as does ‘tight’ control of HbA1c levels (for you old salt). Nevertheless, diabetic neuropathy is progressive and related to control of diabetes and time.
I have never heard that Glen Beck has diabetes, and certainly not heard that he has had it for long periods of time. However, it is possible.
Heavy metals and toxins, some poisons/toxins, and insecticides, multiple medications including chemotherapeutic agents, and WMD including nerve toxins Sarin, Mustard, VX and a few others in the ‘former’ US arsenal that were stored in places like eastern colorado.
I have friends that have unknown causes of neuropathies, and despite many attempts at identification of source, they have been unsuccessful. However, even these unknown peripheral neuropathies don’t seem to effect the voice.
More than likely, Glen Becks people will be smart enough to look for obvious causes: toxins, metals, and poisons.

A Sampling of Some Quotes about the U.S. Constitution from History
    A Sampling of Some
    Quotes about the U.S.
    Constitution from History

    Quotes Source:

The following is a sampling of some quotes from history which make some very important points about the principles of constitutional republican government:

    1. The Constitution was written to be understood by the voters; its words and phrases were used in their normal and ordinary, as distinguished from technical meaning; where the intention is clear, there is no room for construction, and no excuse for interpolation or addition. — Martin v. Hunter’s Lessee, 1 Wheat 304; Gibbons v. Ogden, 9 Wheat 419; Brown v. Maryland, 12 Wheat 419; Craig v. Missouri, 4 Pet 10; Tennessee v. Whitworth, 117 U.S. 139; Lake County v. Rollins, 130 U.S. 662; Hodges v. United States, 203 U.S. 1; Edwards v. Cuba R. Co., 268 U.S. 628; The Pocket Veto Case, 279 U.S. 655; (Justice) Story on the Constitution, 5th ed., Sec 451; Cooley’s Constitutional Limitations, 2nd ed., p. 61, 70.

    2. It cannot be presumed that any clause in the constitution is intended to be without effect;… — Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137, 174 (1803).

    3. The Constitution is a written instrument. As such, its meaning does not alter. That which it meant when it was adopted, it means now. — South Carolina v. United States, 199 U.S. 437, 448 (1905).
    4. In the United States, Sovereignty resides in the people, who act through the organs established by the Constitution. — Chisholm v. Georgia, 2 Dall 419, 471; Penhallow v. Doane’s Administrators, 3 Dall 54, 93; McCullock v. Maryland, 4 Wheat 316, 404, 405; Yick Yo Hopkins, 118 U.S. 356, 370.

    5. The necessities which gave birth to the constitution, the controversies which precede its formation and the conflicts of opinion which were settled by its adoption, may properly be taken into view for the purposes of tracing to its source, any particular provision of the constitution, in order thereby, to be enabled to correctly interpret its meaning. — Pollock v. Farmers’ Loan & Trust Co., 157 U.S. 429, 558.

    6. The values of the Framers of the Constitution must be applied in any case construing the Constitution. Inferences from the text and history of the Constitution should be given great weight in discerning the original understanding and in determining the intentions of those who ratified the constitution. The precedential value of cases and commentators tends to increase, therefore, in proportion to their proximity to the adoption of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or any other amendments. — Powell v. McCormack, 395 U.S. 486, 547 (1969).

    7. To disregard such a deliberate choice of words and their natural meaning, would be a departure from the first principle of constitutional interpretation. “In expounding the Constitution of the United States,” said Chief Justice Taney in Holmes v. Jennison, 14 U.S. 540, 570-1, “every word must have its due force and appropriate meaning; for it is evident from the whole instrument, that, no word was unnecessarily used, or needlessly added. The many discussions which have taken place upon the construction of the Constitution, have proved the correctness of this proposition; and shown the high talent, the caution and the foresight of the illustrious men who framed it. Every word appears to have been weighed with the utmost deliberation and its force and effect to have been fully understood. — Wright v. United States, 302 U.S. 583 (1938).
    8. The courts are not bound by mere forms, nor are they to be misled by mere pretences. They are at liberty — indeed, are under a solemn duty — to look at the substance of things, whenever they enter upon the inquiry whether the legislature has transcended the limits of its authority. If therefore, a statute purporting to have been enacted to protect the public health, the public morals, or the public safety, has no real or substantial relation to those objects, or is a palpable invasion of rights secured by the fundamental law, it is the duty of thye courts to so adjudge, and thereby give effect to the Constitution. — Mugler v. Kansas, 123 U.S. 623, 661.

    9. Constitutional provisions for the security of person and property should be liberally construed. It is the duty of the courts to be watchful of constitutional rights against any stealthy encroachments thereon. — Boyd v. U.S., 116 U.S. 635.

    10. It cannot be assumed that the framers of the constitution and the people who adopted it, did not intend that which is the plain import of the language used. When the language of the constitution is positive and free of all ambiguity, all courts are not at liberty, by a resort to the refinements of legal learning, to restrict its obvious meaning to avoid the hardships of particular cases. We must accept the constitution as it reads when its language is unambiguous, for it is the mandate of the sovereign power. — Cook vs. Iverson, 122, N.M. 251.

    11. Where the words of a constitution are unambiguous and in their commonly received sense lead to a reasonable conclusion, it should be read according to the natural and most obvious import of the framers, without resorting to subtle and forced construction for the purpose of limiting or extending its operation. — A State Ex Rel. Torryson v. Grey, 21 Nev. 378, 32 P. 190.

    12. If the legislature clearly misinterprets a constitutional provision, the frequent repitition of the wrong will not create a right. — Amos v. Mosley, 74 Fla. 555; 77 So. 619.

    13. A long and uniform sanction by law revisers and lawmakers, of a legislative assertion and exercise of power, is entitled to a great weight in construing an ambiguous or doubtful provision, but is entitled to no weight if the statute in question is in conflict with the plain meaning of the constitutional provision. — Kingsley v. Merril, 122 Wis. 185; 99 NW 1044.

    14. Economic necessity cannot justify a disregard of cardinal constitutional guarantee. — Riley v. Carter, 165 Okal. 262; 25 P. 2d 666; 79 ALR 1018.

    15. Disobedience or evasion of a constitutional mandate may not be tolerated, even though such disobedience may, at least temporarily, promote in some respects the best interests of the public. — State v. Board of Examiners, 274 N.Y. 367; 9 NE 2d 12; 112 ALR 660.

    16. When any court violates the clean and unambiguous language of the Constitution, a fraud is perpetrated and no one is bound to obey it. — (See 16 Ma. Jur. 2d 177, 178) State v. Sutton, 63 Minn. 147, 65 NW 262, 30 L.R.A. 630 Am. St. 459.

    17. I cannot subscribe to the omnipotence of a state legislature, or that it is absolute and without control; although its authority should not be expressly restrained by the Constitution, or fundamental law, of the state. The nature, and ends of legislative power will limit the exercise of it. This fundamental principle flows from the very nature of our free Republican governments, that no man should be compelled to do what the laws do not require, nor to refrain from acts which the laws permit. There are acts which the Federal, or State, Legislature cannot do, without exceeding their authority. There are certain vital principles in our free Republican governments, which will determine and overrule an apparent and flagrant abuse of legislative power; as to authorize manifest injustice by positive law; or to take away that security for personal liberty, or private property, for the protection whereof the government was established. An Act of the legislature (for I cannot call it a law) contrary to the great first principles of the social compact, cannot be considered a rightful exercise of legislative authority. The obligation of a law in governments established on express compact, and on republican principles, must be determined by the nature of the power, on which it is founded. A few instances will suffice to explain what I mean. A law that punishes a citizen for an innocent action, or, in other words, for an act, which, when done, was in violation of no existing law; a law that destroys, or impairs, the lawful private contracts of citizens; a law that makes a man a judge in his own cause; or a law that takes property from A and gives it to B. It is against all reason and justice for a people to intrust a Legislature with such powers; and, therefore, it cannot be presumed that they have done it. The genius, the nature and the spirit, of our State Government, amount to a prohibition of such acts of legislation; and the general principles of law and reason forbid them. The legislature may enjoin, permit, forbid, and punish; they may declare new crimes, and establish rules of conduct for all its citizens in future cases; they may command what is right, and prohibit what is wrong; but they cannot change innocence into guilt; or punish innocence as a crime; or violate the right of an antecedent lawful private contract; or the right of private property. To maintain that our Federal, or State, Legislature possesses such powers, if they had not been expressly restrained, would, in my opinion, be a political heresy altogether inadmissible in our free republican governments. — Opinion of Justice Chase in Calder v. Bull, 3 Dallas 386-389 (1798).

What a very good post re. the strict meaning of the Constitution! In essence, what CDR Kerchner (Ret) related reminds me of and is comparable to a well-known saying concerning the holy Scriptures: “When the plain sense of Scriptures makes common sense, seek no other sense.” In a simple way, the same could be said for our Constitution. Thanks for sharing this.

“Mr. Newt, please tell us how you know that Obama was “absolutely” born in the United States and is a Christian.”
This has gone far beyond irritating-then they’ll use the standard, polifact etc. re: the COLB which can not be used in court. I was so unset with tonight’s news,-Obama decided to start campaigning again (barf) but the Dems are so desperate that they have dragged out Bill Clinton to remind people of better times. They think they are going to trick us former Dems now Tea Party due to election fraud 08 into voting Democrat-never again. The DNC unloaded the creep Obama on us and the nation-they are stuck with him (it). Next week Michelle Obama due to she is the most popular over Obama and Biden is hitting the campaign trail, again are they serious? Michelle Antoinette-the Democratic party has lost it big time and they have insulted Democrats for the last time I hope-you have to be double stupid if you fall for this garbage again. I see Newt and the Republicans are not adverse to insulting Republicans intelligence either.

Beck is not my favorite talk radio/TV guy by any stretch. But I believe he is a fundamentally decent guy, albeit quirky and eccentric, so I take no delight in reports of medical problems:

Documentation of the deceit through which Obama usurped the Presidency is an important task for all of posterity. This collection of video clips will be the record of the psychological operations used against the American people by a controlled media.
Your own collection of what you consider to be seminal documents, video clips, articles, etc, is important as well! As are all your historical finds and understandings of how our Constitution evolved and how it was attacked.
I am preparing a couple of long posts, one of which will be up today, so in the meantime, please consider this an open thread

  49. While 1929 was a different financial environment the out come amounted to the same thing we now face. The alleged DEPRESSION lasted for nearly 10 years. Had the US not entered ww 2 it is conceiveable that the depression could have lasted much longer. When the US declared war on Japan the Federal government began Nationalising key industries. Instead of hemmoraging money,we began to hemmorage our young men and women. By the end of WW2 the blood line of thousands of families came to an end.

  50. Re Newt
“Gingrich sounds off on Obama eligibility
Says prez has ‘obligation’ to determine why people don’t believe his life story”

“As for Gingrich’s opinion, the former speaker insisted that Obama was “absolutely” born in the United States and is a Christian, but Gingrich also insisted the president needs to consider what he’s doing that may lead people to suspect him Muslim.”

Newt is politically savvy. I suspect he knows Zero has issues with NBC. But by not saying this, he cannot be lumped by Alinskyites with the birthers. By saying this on Spanish language media, he strikes at the core of Zero’s support. Many of these people are more keenly aware than most Americans regarding the meaning and import of US Citizenship, especially those who are naturalized or here without permission. Many Hispanics have struggled hard and long to attain legitimacy here. They would be among the most resentful were the truth of Zero’s fraud to be revealed. I do not criticize Newt for his machinations; I suspect he has a noble purpose.

  51. Chris Christie would be my personal choice for President (R) he just won a straw poll Tea Party for first choice President, but the Republicans have many other really good choices also (smart, sharp, youthful, fiscally responsible) the Democrats not so much-robots show more life more like “once upon a midnight dreary” same old boring rhetoric, reckless policies to beat the band.
Let’s draft the Anti-BoBo Who Can Actually Win
Amidst all the flyover Iowa posturing by Romney, Palin, Gingrich, Jindal, Pawlenty and the rest of the GOP yawners who haven’t a prayer in 2012 — and all the pundit pontification about their (non-existent) chances — the American people are quietly and steadily drafting the Republican who can — should the GOP put its full force behind him — boot President BoBo from the White House.
That Republican, the one who stands a chance in 2012, is Governor Chris Fix-It Christie.
President Hillary Rodham Clinton would be my first choice but that won’t happen unless Barry BoBo is unable or unwilling to run for re-election, and we all know that narcissists never step down, so……
Let’s draft the anti BoBo who can actually win. Ladies and Gentleman, meet Number 45, President Christopher James Christie:

    Aspartame Side Effects
There are over 92 different health side effects associated with aspartame consumption. It seems surreal, but true. How can one chemical create such chaos?

Aspartame dissolves into solution and can therefore travel throughout the body and deposit within any tissue. The body digests aspartame unlike saccharin, which does not break down within humans.

The multitude of aspartame side effects are indicative to your genetic individuality and physical weaknesses. It is important to put two and two together, nonetheless, and identify which side effects aspartame is creating within you.

    Aspartame Side Effects
The components of aspartame can lead to a number of health problems, as you have read. Side effects can occur gradually, can be immediate, or can be acute reactions.

    Aspartame Information:

    •Aspartame Side Effects
    •Aspartame Case Histories

According to Lendon Smith, M.D. there is an enormous population suffering from side effects associated with aspartame, yet have no idea why drugs, supplements and herbs don’t relieve their symptoms. Then, there are users who don’t ‘appear’ to suffer immediate reactions at all. Even these individuals are susceptible to the long-term damage caused by excitatory amino acids, phenylalanine, methanol, and DKP.

Adverse reactions and side effects of aspartame include:

blindness in one or both eyes
decreased vision and/or other eye problems such as: blurring, bright flashes, squiggly lines, tunnel vision, decreased night vision
pain in one or both eyes
    decreased tears
    trouble with contact lenses
    bulging eyes

tinnitus – ringing or buzzing sound
    severe intolerance of noise
    marked hearing impairment

    epileptic seizures
    headaches, migraines and (some severe)
    dizziness, unsteadiness, both

    severe drowsiness and sleepiness
paresthesia or numbness of the limbs
    severe slurring of speech
    severe hyperactivity and restless legs
    atypical facial pain
    severe tremors

    severe depression
    personality changes

    palpitations, tachycardia
    shortness of breath
    recent high blood pressure

diarrhea, sometimes with blood in stools
    abdominal pain
    pain when swallowing

    Skin and Allergies
    itching without a rash
    lip and mouth reactions

    marked weight loss
    gradual weight gain
    aggravated low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
    severe PMS

frequency of voiding and burning during urination
excessive thirst, fluid retention, leg swelling, and bloating

  55. Perhaps Beck’s health would improve after he resolves his inner turmoil and comes clean regarding the POTUS eligibility issue. How can a man be so possessed and driven to expose the progressive left and totally dismiss the eligibility issue? It seems to me that he is being consumed from the inside by his inner demons.

  56. Since this is an open thread, I’ll repeat the post from a few threads ago in case some missed it.

This year’s seasonal flu vaccine has a surprise in it…the H1N1 vaccine. Over half the population wasn’t duped last time around and now that they have a ton of this garbage vaccine left over, they’re sneaking it into the seasonal shot, along with the H3N2 vaccine, which is another swine variety.

If you didn’t want the H1N1 vaccine before and certainly don’t want it now, it may be a good idea to boost your immune system with Vitamin D, Sambucol, and organic apple cider vinegar rather that have that junk injected into you. Wash your hands raw this winter, if you have to.

Some flu clinics don’t even know that the H1N1 vaccine is in there, which makes it even more insidious.

Please make an informed decision as to whether or not to get this year’s ‘seasonal’ flu shot.

  57. SueK @ 11:55 pm | Hi Sue- I had been making batches of apple cider vinegar/honey ahead, but I found a better way (for me at least) I bought a shot glass at a resale shop-I fill half and half with a whisper of hot water-stir fresh shot every time-it is so much easier that way and goes down fast/easy.
Thanks for the latest info re: flu shots-I hate needles no way would I volunteer for a flu shot, I’d rather have the flu.

  58. Michelle | October 11, 2010 at 12:04 am |

    Hey Michelle,

Sounds like you’re doing what works best for you; warmer climes don’t guarantee an easy flu season, as you well know.

If you ask me, this maneuver is totally disgusting; those who opted not to take the H1N1 vaccine are now being ‘forced’ to take it in the seasonal shot.
The clinic personnel I’ve asked have no idea-they’re under the impression it’s the seasonal shot alone. I’ve been telling them to check it out and ‘fess up to the public lest they be sued. And they *will* be sued.

Keep on taking your shots ; a little Kahlua in one of the shot glasses wouldn’t hurt, either :).

  59. Maybe Glen Beck was poisoned when he broke the compact fluorescent bulb in his studio on Green Day? I think this happened on April of 2009.

    Hey Aerie,

I pop on occasionally, especially when health-related stuff is on the front burner. It’s that time of year again!

All is stable on this end; hope it is for you, too. Thanks for saying ‘hi’ 🙂

  69. Personal thought,

I wish Beck the best. I could only hope that Beck’s illness is due to Natural circumstances and not outside harm inquired through alternative motives.

Many such as Alexander Litvinenko or Viktor Yushchenko, whom uprose against their establishment status quo corruption and publically disclosed its manical dealings, were met with harsh resistance with no regard to their independent lives. Each attack was meant to appear “natural” cause of demise.

How far will this aministration go to silence those like Beck, Rush and many more to protect the Annointed One? We have witnessed some of it, but what is the true in-depth analysis and how embedded is this Fraudulent Government willing to go?

Again, I hope it is natural illness, but not so sure I would put anything past the willingness and ability of this Admin. The Murder – Nay – The Assassination of the Young Military officer who knew the Truth of Obama, should set the presedence of exactly how far they are willing wade in the waters to protect this massive invasion of America from within.

    Just saying……

  70. Always keep in mind that sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one.

If Beck has Diabetes (type 1 in particular) then it is highly probably that this is the cause of his condition.

I saw someone mention that his would happen when the disease is out of control. I would suggest that is not true.

Let me explain it this way, I knew a woman in my last parish who had diabetes type 1. All of a sudden she was in a wheelchair because of peripheral neuropathy. For a short time she did get better and was out of the wheelchair, and then suddenly, when she was left on her own – husband and son went overseas to Canada – she died after she had collapsed in front of her refrigerator. She was found by her father who came to check on her.

If Beck has diabetes, the symptoms that he is experiencing might be related to that disease.
