I was at an age where this greatly interested me. I literally followed every aspect of both the Pacific War as well as the US involvement in Europe. I am aware of just about every major battle that occurred over the totality of both theatres. I deeply admire all of our US servicemen, which incidentally includes the US Merchant Mariners as well. They lost over 30,000 of their shipmates. Of course we all SHOULD be aware of the MURDERS of over a million JEWISH people which was carried out by the NAZIS. I find it a real travesty that so many young people throughout the world have been raised to believe that this DID NOT OCCUR. I am not of Jewish decent but I believe in GOD..
For Soetoro to go to Dresden, and apologise for the bombing of Dresden as an alleged war crime should then require Germany to immediately admit their guilt in the MURDER of OVER 1,000,000 JEWS, and tender a FORMAL APOLOGY TO THE JEWISH COMMUNITYas a whole. What is good for the goose is also good for the GANDER. Soetoro will actually garner a seething hatred of him by the JEWISH community. Ironically the JEWISH SUPPORTED HIM. Slightly off-topic here, but I wanted to address your last point.
I was ‘in the business’ at the time and although I cannot quote you a source, I can tell you that the WMDs Bush knew were there, were. He was far from an idiot.
If you recall, Saddam refused many times to allow weapons inspectors into Iraq; when he did, he had already moved the weapons elsewhere (read that as Syria) and had entire laboratories buried in the desert. Some of these labs were unearthed and what the inspectors found was stunning-these were not ‘Mom and Pop’ operations.
For those who swear that Saddam had no WMDs, all I tell them is to just ask the Kurds…

Stephanie, you ask good questions. WHY? Well, it depends on whom you ask. The Lefties have been screaming ‘Where were the WMDs?’ for years, when all they had to do was look.
Bush annoyed the hell out of the Left and this is why I believe that no matter what he did, it was wrong. Just look at this present ‘administration’-how many times have they blamed Bush for their own mistakes, of which there are many.
I think that the media was conducting a ‘trial run’ by damning everything he did. Ask yourself-when did Bush ever get a fair shake from the media? They hated him, and that was obvious.
So, WHY? If you ask me, it was because he was indeed a Republican and the media wanted him embarrassed while they were grooming their Golden Boy who, to them, can do no wrong. They’re not stupid; just evil.
I wonder as well. The Champion of the Constitution, with such elegant speaking when it comes to monetary policy and foreign affairs. really let us down with the NBC issue.

Yes, indeed, you’re spot on. Saddam had plenty of time to get the WMDs to Syria while he was shutting the door on inspections.
Even though there’s no love lost between Iran and Iraq, the Middle East seems to pull together whenever there’s a threat from The Great Satan (the U.S.). If you look at this objectively, Iran is moving at breakneck speed to become a nuclear force. With their unstable ‘government’ you have to ask how this was accomplished. I agree with your comment 100%.
Regarding the Brits, MI5 is about the best there is-their intelligence capabilities are second to none, and I wish we had such an agency here in America. Whenever info comes from them, you can bet it’s accurate and in this case, it was more than accurate.
Didn’t Saddam also hide about half of his air fleet in Iran just before Gulf War I? Having done that then, I’d say of COURSE he moved his WMDs to Syria this time around. Weren’t entire CONVOYS of trucks seen going toward Syria just beforehand? Of course they were.

I don’t think people understand what ending the FED and the IRS would do. It would mean NO MORE INCOME TAXES!
That means you get to keep everything you worked for, all year long, and didn’t have to give 25% of it to the corrupt bankers.
Ron Paul didn’t bring up the eligibility issue, and that sucks, but he is still the only one who has fought long and hard to end the FED, and for that i commend him.

SueK and Sandy, remind your friends, BO did release what he called his “Birth Certificate,” just because people asked him to! He created a web site, “Fight the Smears,” in June, 2008, explicitly writing therein, he created this site to respond to concerns about his citizenship. In other words, he acknowledged the public questioned whether he was a NBC. And, having admitted to these concerns, he posted a Certification Of Live Birth, ostensibly from HI – the photocopy itself has the title, Certification of Live Birth – but then wrote underneath, this was his “Official Birth Certificate.” (Strangely, he wrote that posting this document from HI proved he was a “native,” although he swore under the pains and penalties of perjury he was a NBC in order to get his name onto the AZ primary ballot! Obviously, therefore, he knows there is a difference between native born and natural born.) Now, having admitted voter concern as to his eligibility under the Constitution to be POTUS; and responding to those concerns by posting this COLB from HI, did he prove what he claimed he had proven, that is, he is a NBC? No. Because under HI law, anyone born in a foreign country could obtain a HI COLB if his mother swore she lived in HI for a year before giving birth. Maybe he thought people would not bother to look up HI law; but they did. And now, angered by his subterfuge, people insisted, BO needed to produce his real Birth Certificate. (You know, the one with all the boxes containing the name of the hospital where you were born, and the name of the country…) Only now, BO had an even bigger problem than proving his Constitutional eligibility to be POTUS. See, he not only had lied on his web site that this COLB was his “Official Birth Certificate”‘ but he also had urged his followers to pass this ‘fact’ on, in order to “Fight the Smears.” And they had dutifully done what he asked, even making fun of anyone who would question his credentials. What would his loyal supporters say now, finding out they were duped?
So, it’s not that no one asked BO to produce a birth certificate or, that he wasn’t willing to produce what he called his birth certificate. Rather, he produced a Certification, and lied it was a Certificate. And he got caught. Tell your friends, if his original birth certificate, the one that looked like the document released by JMc months earlier, would have established he is a NBC then, why didn’t he post a copy of that one, instead of the fake?

Hi jbjd, and thanks for your insight and great post. You’re right-he ‘produced’ something, but it wasn’t what was requested. Another case of he and his minions trying to pull the wool over the public’s eyes. The Obots bought it; the rest of us didn’t.
My question has always been why produce a Certificate of Live Birth (which can be issued to anyone) if, in fact, you have a legit Birth Certificate? I guess folks just didn’t ask that question-they just bought it hook, line and sinker. I know that everyone on this forum gets that.
But Sandy’s right- if people don’t want to know the truth, they just don’t. There is no sense trying to even get them to listen to an opposing point of view because they’ll have none of it. It smacks of total, irrefutable brainwashing.
People have talked about the ‘dumbing down of America’ over the last several years, and this fiasco proves it. I have seen it in my professional as well as my personal life, and I don’t know what to make of it. I think when we lower the standards, somehow the mentality follows suit.
SueK, be careful; in this last comment to me, you referred to the photocopied document BO posted as a “Certificate” (of Live Birth). Remember, this was a “Certification of Live Birth”; it said so, right at the top.
As for people who do not want to know the truth, I would ask them how they have been explaining to people who question BO’s ‘credentials,’ why this document he posted says across the top, “Certification of Live Birth” but he wrote in underneath, “Official Birth Certificate.” Then, depending on their answer, you can point out the difference.

WASHINGTON – A bill approved by the House of Representatives and referred to the Senate would prohibit federal employees of executive branch from being compelled to release any document unless a court makes a specified determination by a preponderance of evidence – legislation at least one group suspects is designed to protect Barack Obama’s elusive birth certificate from release.
The legislation, HR 985, resides in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Sovereignty Alliance has issued a “red alert” about the bill it calls “stealth legislation … to protect Obama from providing his birth certificate.”
“It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if this were one of the intended consequences of this legislation,” said Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, who last week initiated a national billboard campaign to bring attention to the issue of Obama’s missing birth certificate and what it might say about his claim to be a “natural born citizen,” a status necessary to serving in the White House.
“In any case, this bill puts the lie to this administration and this Congress being the most ethical and transparent in American history,” Farah said. “They’re very open when it comes to the secrets of previous administrations, but when it comes to their own work, it is shrouded in secrecy. Even the president’s birth certificate and student records are well-guarded state secrets.”
Farah launched a petition campaign several months ago that has collected nearly 400,000 names of Americans demanding answers as to Obama’s eligibility. Last week he called for financial support of a new campaign to erect billboards around the country asking the simple question: “Where’s the birth certificate?”
In just five days, the billboard campaign has been backed by about $45,000 in donations.
Likewise, Farah points out, the nearly 400,000 petitioners represents more people than live in any of the following U.S. cities:
St. Louis, Missouri
Tampa, Florida
Anaheim, California
Cincinnati, Ohio
Toledo, Ohio
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
New Orleans, Louisiana
Newark, New Jersey

Both efforts are part of what Farah calls an independent “truth and transparency campaign.”
The money is being used to erect billboards around the country that ask a simple question: “Where’s the birth certificate?”
The first such sign to be posted under the 5-day-old campaign, a digital, electronic one, is up and online on Highway 165 in Ball, La. – the result of a donation by the owner. In addition, based on the heavy volume of financial donations in the first two days of the campaign, WND was able to commit to leasing two more standard billboards – one in Los Angeles and the other in Pennsylvania. It will take several weeks to get those billboards up because of the vinyl printing and shipping involved.
Birth certificate question being raised in Ball, La.
The “Certification of Live Birth” posted online and widely touted as “Obama’s birth certificate” does not in any way prove he was born in Hawaii, since the same “short-form” document is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true “long-form” birth certificate – which includes information like the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny.
“I know now, because of the sensational response to this idea from WND viewers, that this national campaign is going to be big and long-lasting,” said Farah. “I want to thank all of those who have pitched in and contributed – with either cash donations or, in some cases, space donations. But the need for money continues.”
While the campaign is off to a great start, many viewers have asked why Obama’s name is not included in the billboard. Farah said the matter was carefully considered.
“There are several reasons we chose the message: ‘Where’s the birth certificate?'” he explained. “There is only one birth certificate controversy in this country today – despite the near-total absence of this issue from coverage in the non-WND media. This is a grass-roots issue that resonates around the country, as our own online petition with nearly 400,000 signers suggests. In addition, I like the simplicity of the message. I like the fact that the message will cause some people to ask themselves or others about the meaning of the message. It will stir curiosity. It will create a buzz. I’m assuming when these billboards are springing up all over the country, it might even make some in the news media curious. And there’s one more factor that persuaded me this was the way to go.
“Come 2012, campaign laws will pose restrictions on political advertising mentioning the names of presidential candidates. This one clearly doesn’t. I would like to see the federal government make the case that this is somehow a political ad,” he said.
Farah said the campaign was born of frustration with timid elected officials in Washington, corrupt judges around the country and a news media that show a stunning lack of curiosity about the most basic facts of Obama’s background – especially how it relates to constitutional eligibility for the highest office in the land.
“As Obama transforms this country from self-governing constitutional republic to one governed by a central ruling elite, the simple fact remains that no controlling legal authority has established that he is indeed a ‘natural born citizen’ as the Constitution requires,” Farah said. “Obama’s promises of transparency have become a bad joke as he continues to hide simple, innocuous documents like his birth certificate and his student records.”
The idea behind the billboard campaign is to make sure Obama cannot avoid this question any longer. He must be asked to produce it at every turn, Farah says. Billboard space is currently being hunted in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Sacramento, San Francisco, New York-New Jersey, Des Moines, Seattle and other metro areas.
Farah said another early target for the campaign would be billboards in Honolulu – allegedly Obama’s birthplace.
“Is it unusual for a news agency to launch such a campaign?” asks Farah. “Yes it is. But we live in very unusual times. The founding fathers built special protections into the First Amendment for the free press. The reason they did that is because they understood a vibrant ‘Fourth Estate’ was necessary as an independent watchdog on government. It is in that tradition that WND assumes this role – since nobody else in the press will do it.”
WND previously launched a petition campaign that has collected more than 370,000 names demanding Obama’s eligibility be verified and demonstrated publicly. That campaign continues. That list has been shared with members of the Electoral College and the chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
“I wish such a campaign were not absolutely necessary,” said Farah. “I wish there were checks and balances in our political and electoral systems to ensure that constitutional eligibility of presidential candidates was established before politicians could assume the highest office in the land. I wish my colleagues in the news media believed the Constitution really means what it says and pressed this issue as hard as we have pressed it at WND. I wish radio talk-show hosts were bold enough to ask this question. But wishing is not enough. It’s time to raise the visibility of this issue vital to the rule of law in America. I am so thankful for the sacrifices of men and women throughout this nation’s history. I, for one, do not need a special day to remind me of it. Especially lately. Watching what is going on as our country heads full throttle towards communism, my heart breaks each and every day for all of us, but mostly for those who died fighting for an opposite cause.
There is a bill that just passed the house that is headed to the senate that is includes stealth protection for records…….we knew this would come. WND has an article about it today. BO has his friends at work to protect those school records and his real birth certificate.

Yeah, and he doesn’t seem to have a lot of time for things like meeting with RT, attending the Gridiron Press Society Banquet, or any events where it’s protocol for the POTUS to show up. He does, however, have time to go on Leno and shoot hoops with the Lady Huskies; he also has time to cause even more controversy by speaking at Notre Dame.
Seems as though he’s more clueless than we thought.

info you may have? This is such a “caring

Yes, I have had several Kenalog injections. I had one in the hip and in each knee before I had the double knee replacements. Also had them in my lower back trying to avoid back surgery–which did not. I didn’t have any problems, but everyone is different. You just may be one of those people that are allergic to that particular steroid. Maddie, please do not let any other doctor give you Kenalog if you had that type of reaction. Hope this helps a little.bkw

(slept for about 4 hours this afternoon).
