“The past, he reflected, had not merely been altered, it had
actually been destroyed. For how could you establish, even
the most obvious fact when there existed no record outside
your own memory?”…George Orwell, “1984″

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed
–if all records told the same tale–then the lie passed into
history and became truth. “Who controls the past,” ran the
Party slogan, “controls the future: who controls the present
controls the past.”…George Orwell, “1984″

“We are being lied to on a scale unimaginable by George Orwell.”…Citizen Wells

Citizen Wells began warning you early in 2008.

From “1984” by George Orwell.

“Winston dialed “back numbers” on the telescreen and called
for the appropriate issues of the Times, which slid out of
the pneumatic tube after only a few minutes’ delay. The
messages he had received referred to articles or news items
which for one reason or another it was thought necessary to
alter, or, as the official phrase had it, to rectify. For
example, it appeared from the Times of the seventeenth of
March that Big Brother, in his speech of the previous day,
had predicted that the South Indian front would remain quiet
but that a Eurasian offensive would shortly be launched in
North Africa. As it happened, the Eurasian Higher Command
had launched its offensive in South India and left North
Africa alone. It was therefore necessary to rewrite a
paragraph of Big Brother’s speech in such a way as to make
him predict the thing that had actually happened.”

I clicked on a link provided by Zero Hedge this morning.

” NBC News reports, citing senior law enforcement officials, that investigators are speculating that someone else may have been in the Las Vegas gunman’s hotel room when he was registered there.”

The link:

It seemed to take longer than usual and this is what I saw with no mention of update.

“Investigators are “confident” that no one else entered the Las Vegas hotel suite before a gunman opened fire on a crowd of thousands of concertgoers, killing 58 people in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said Friday in an interview that police don’t believe anyone entered the room at Mandalay Bay prior to the shooting carried out by Stephen Paddock Sunday night.

Earlier, senior law enforcement sources said investigators were puzzled by a charger that did not appear to match any of Paddock’s cellphones. Police have now been able to match all of the cell phone chargers found in the room with multiple cell phones that Paddock had with him.

“He was the only shooter; I’m very confident of that,” McMahill said. “I’m also confident that there were no other people in the room leading up to this event.””

The “rectified” version complies with the accepted narrative.

I took the original link to the WayBack Machine and here is what I found for Oct. 6.

“Investigators Probing Whether Others Were in Las Vegas Gunman’s Suite

Investigators are trying to nail down whether anyone else was in the hotel suite reserved by the Las Vegas gunman during the time he was registered there, multiple senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation into the shooting told NBC News.

The investigators are puzzled by two discoveries: First, a charger was found that does not match any of the cell phones that belonged to Stephen Paddock, the man who killed himself inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino after sending a barrage of bullets down on a crowd of 22,000 people below.

And second, garage records show that during a period when Paddock’s car left the hotel garage, one of his key cards was used to get into his room.

Las Vegas shooting: What drove Stephen Paddock to kill 59 people? 3:22

There are several possible explanations for these anomalies, the investigators say, but they want to get to the bottom of it.

They are also examining his finances. IRS records show that Paddock was a very successful gambler, earning at least $5 million in 2015. Some of that could be from his other investments, but most of it was from gambling, officials say.

Paddock unleashed a barrage of bullets from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Sunday night, killing at least 59 people and injuring about 500 others who were attending a country music festival below.

It was the worst mass shooting in modern American history, and Assistant Clark County Sheriff Todd Fasulo told reporters Monday night that Stephen Craig Paddock was “solely responsible for this heinous act.”

His motive for the attack is still not clear. Multiple senior law enforcement officials told NBC News Paddock, 64, had researched possible attack locations in Boston and Chicago, including the most recent Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, which was held Aug. 3 to Aug. 6 in Grant Park. ”

And remember, the room service check noted 2 guests.

“the Times of the nineteenth of December had published the official forecasts of the output of various classes of consumption goods in the fourth quarter of 1983, which was also the sixth quarter of the Ninth Three-Year Plan. Today’s issue contained a statement of the actual output, from which it appeared that the forecasts were in every instance grossly wrong. Winston’s job was to rectify the original figures by making them agree with the later ones.”…George Orwell, “1984”

……….it seems as though the more they probe the greater are the number of unanswered questions………..which will more than likely REMAIN unanswered………..at least for the foreseeable future. Good morning CW.

  3. HERE IS something different……….
Ms. Sanders seems to really enjoy her job as WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN…………she handles answers to the press inquiries very well. I think she is more or less a chip off the HUCKABEE block. I think she might end up as GOVERNOR of Arkansas. Somehow I have the notion that if she was to run for office with Mia Love of Utah……they would win in a landslide. I think they both have excellent potential in politics. Unfortunately Ms. Love is Haitian, and would be disqualified for the office of POTUS, OR VP. I have been to Haiti. When I was there it was an incredibly poor island in the Caribbean. It used to be a LIBERTY PORT for US Navy ships in the Caribbean for their ORI s (Operational Readiness Inspections).

  4. Mornin.

………..if any intelligent answers will ever evolve from the ongoing investigation in Vegas. What is plain to see is that Paddock was OUT OF HIS MIND, otherwise he would not have committed such a crime. Simple fact! In addition he was a GUN NUT……….but then SO AM I. The difference between us is that I do not ever intend to kill anyone, unless I am forced to do so in self defense. I the past I have built both FLINTLOCK, and PERCUSSION black powder rifles, and revolvers. I was once a LIFE MEMBER of NRA as well. I used to never miss our Indiana Tell City Black Powder shooting competition each year………..which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was also once a Colt Firearms collector. I owned some real beauties…….all of which were in firing condition.(25 in all)……a few examples of which are;1860 SAA Infantry sidearm,1st Model SAA Dragoon .44 cal,Roots revolver .36 caliber, Colt 12 Gauge fully engraved double 1880. These were just a few of the specimens in my Colts collection. I also owned two old Sharps Buffalo rifles. These used paper cartridges……..After the death of my first wife the entire collection was sold at auction. I also owned a number of modern early Colts semi auto handguns………ranging from .25 caliber to .45 ACP (1911) government. I owned 12 of these. So you can readily see that MULTIPLICITY is a collector’s dilemma. I think at the outset Paddock was NO DIFFERENT……..except he earned his income from realestate, and I earned my income as a lithographer.

    Las Vegas Prostitute Speaks……
A prostitute who was with Paddock said that he was violent with her and that he was saying that 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government

    Daily Mail UK reports:
A Las Vegas prostitute who was hired by murderer Stephen Paddock has spoken out about their ‘violent’ sex sessions and how he bragged about having ‘bad blood’.

The woman, who spoke anonymously, said she would spent hours drinking and gambling with Paddock, who she described as ‘paranoid’ and ‘obsessive’.

If he hit a winning streak, he would take her back to his room for ‘really aggressive and violent sex’ including living out rape fantasies, she said.

Paddock also boasted about his bank-robber father, saying that ‘the bad streak is in my blood’ and ‘I was born bad’, according to texts seen by the Sun on Sunday.

The 27-year-old woman said Paddock, 64, would often rant about conspiracy theories including how 9/11 was orchestrated by the US government.

The escort, who said Paddock paid her $6,000-a-time for their meetings, also had texts in which he described tying her up ‘while you scream for help’.

  12. ….FINALLY…………
…………..FBI has done something CONSTRUCTIVE they infiltrated a WANNABE TERROR CELL who intended to hit Times Square. Perpetrators arrested.

………….of the EPA has taken up the REPEAL of Obama’s Clean Power Act. This will bring back a lot of coal mining jobs……..BUT we have to keep in mind that whenever we burn mother nature’s materials there is always a consequence. Inside of me I believe that we need to explore ways to make NUCLEAR POWER PRODUCTION SAFER. While there is potential hazards in NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION there is a lot to gain from continuing to research this. Only diligent research will eventually produce new technologies which have the potential to produce electricity cheaply ,and simultaneously be safe for people to live in close proximity with such facilities. We do know that burning coal does in fact generate a lot of atmospheric contaminants. Today China is experiencing heavy atmospheric contamination from the alleged GREENHOUSE GASES given off. Today NATURAL GAS is being used much more frequently to fire power generation……..but what do we do when we consume it faster than mother nature can manufacture it. In certain areas of our country the use of subterranean volcanic energy is being utilized successfully to generate power. In other areas solar power can be successful. Here is a thought relating to solar power; when the Trump wall is built it could be paid for by placing solar power panels at the top of the wall over the entire length of the wall……..over 2000 miles. This could potentially become a power grid in itself. The amount of KILOWATS which could be produced by such a venture boggles the mind. Further it could be come a public company in which all Americans could invest in for a dividend return.

  15. CW…………
…………just finished talking with a Vietnam vet who carried an M16 during his tour. He told me there was two people in his group alone who could hold an M16 in each arm and fire both weapons simultaneously. It takes a little practice because the buttstock of each weapon is held tightly under each arm, instead of against the shoulder. He stated this is a last ditch effort to bring down as many people as possible……..of course in such a circumstance this would be done against a massive enemy confrontation in very close proximity. You would be watching tracer direction to bring the weapons on target. This makes sense because it was learned that Paddock had tried to purchase tracer rounds at several different ammo dealers………..and that would be one reason for the use of tracers. Further this would also account for the sound of two weapons almost simultaneously. An AR15 was the predecessor of the M-16, and they are very similar in many ways. Colt Firearms was among the original builders of the AR15.

  16. Interestingly………
…………the shell casing length for both the 5.5 mm and the .223 is 45mm. There was what appeared to be a couple of thousand of them on the hotel room floor. This would have been a real bucketful of them.

  17. Vegas Massacre Story Changes: Gunman Shot Security Guard Before Opening Fire On Crowd

Hotel Guest Next To Vegas Shooter Just Blew Investigation WIDE OPEN With What He Said He Saw
When frantic calls began to pour into 9/11 that night with news of an active shooting taking place at the concert near the hotel, initial eye witnesses claimed that there were multiple shooters firing down upon the crowd. But for some reason, the mainstream media keeps pushing the narrative that there was only one shooter involved, even though mounting evidence is starting to indicate otherwise.

Australian man Brian Hodge was staying in the room next to Paddock that fateful night, and what he witnessed is destroying the mainstream media’s narrative that the massacre involved only one shooter. After hearing gun fire coming from his floor, Hodge rushed outside and hid in the bushes and called for help. Hodge then said something shocking, certain that this massacre was not carried out by Stephen Paddock alone.

“There were multiple people dead and multiple shooters. I was just hiding waiting for police to come get us. We were hiding in the bushes outside waiting for the police.”

Adding, “It was a machine gun from the room next to me. My floor is a crime scene. They killed a security guard on my floor.”

Hodge isn’t the only person who believes there was more than one shooter that carried out the massacre. Many people are feeling uneasy about the official story that’s being pushed, and are starting to suspect there’s something extremely fishy with the narrative the mainstream media is telling everyone.

Why would an accountant, with no criminal history, who according to his own family, didn’t even like guns, suddenly decide to commit the worst mass-casualty shooting in United States history? Even Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy is scoffing at the narrative that this was carried out by a lone shooter.

Authorities say security officer was injured in hail of gunfire and alerted others, minutes before deadliest mass shooting in US history

The Latest: Guest next to Vegas gunman’s room ‘shaken’

The Latest on the shooting in Las Vegas (all times local):

    11:30 p.m.

An Australian man with the room next to the gunman’s says he’s “shaken” by Sunday’s attack.

Brian Hodge wasn’t in the room when 64-year-old retired accountant Stephen Paddock opened fire on an outdoor concert across the street, killing 59 people and wounding more than 500. Instead, the 36-year-old was returning to the hotel after dinner, and made it up to the 32nd floor, when shots rang out.

Eventually, Hodge took shelter in the bushes outside the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Paddock had 23 guns in the room where he had been staying since Thursday.

Hodge says it’s ‘unsettling’ to think he had been sleeping next to a room filled with guns and ammunition

One of the assault rifles has a ‘bump stock’ added to it – making effectively fully automatic – allowing him to unleash hundreds of rounds per minute.

The branding on the gun indicates it was made by Daniel Defense, a Savannah-Georgia-based company which produces variants of the AR-15 rifle, based off the U.S. Army’s M16. Another gun appears to be under his body.

Another photo shows how he pushed two sitting chairs together to form a cradle-like space to store at least two other rifles. Another AR-15-style rifle is seen at the foot of chairs with an extended magazine that would allow him to shoot for longer before reloading.

Behind a nearby pillar, about 15 magazines are piled in neat stacks. It’s unclear if they are loaded or spent.

A SWAT team located Paddock in his room about 72 minutes after the beginning of the deadly attack – but cops estimate he only fired on the crowd for 9-11 minutes, starting at 10:08pm.

Police say he shot at officers as they breached the door, but by the time they made it into the suite, Paddock had committed suicide

    Entrance Wounds

Contact wounds characteristically have soot on the outside of the skin, and muzzle imprint, or laceration of the skin from effects of gases. Contact wounds of airguns usually lack these features (Cohle et al, 1987). Intermediate, or close-range, wounds may show a wide zone of powder stippling, but lack a muzzle imprint and laceration. The area of powder stippling will depend upon the distance from the muzzle. (Denton et al, 2006)

Distant range wounds are lacking powder stippling and usually exhibit a hole roughly the caliber of the projectile fired.

The most difficult problem is distinguishing a distant from a contact wound. The factors that can affect the amount and distribution of gunshot residue (GSR) on skin and clothing include: (1) firing distance, (2) length and diameter of the firearm barrel, (3) characteristics of the gunpowder, (4) angle between the firearm barrel and target, (5) characteristics of the cartridge, (6) the environment (moisture, wind, heat), (7) type of clothing, (8) intermediate targets, and (9) characteristics of the target (tissue type, putrefaction, blood marks) (Tugcu et al, 2006).

The term ballistics refers to the science of the travel of a projectile in flight. The flight path of a bullet includes: travel down the barrel, path through the air, and path through a target. The wounding potential of projectiles is a complex matter. (Fackler, 1996)

Internal, or initial ballistics (within the gun)

Bullets fired from a rifle will have more energy than similar bullets fired from a handgun. More powder can also be used in rifle cartridges because the bullet chambers can be designed to withstand greater pressures (50,000 to 70,000 for rifles psi vs. 30,000 to 40,000 psi for handgun chamber). Higher pressures require a bigger gun with more recoil that is slower to load and generates more heat that produces more wear on the metal. It is difficult in practice to measure the forces within a gun barrel, but the one easily measured parameter is the velocity with which the bullet exits the barrel (muzzle velocity) and this measurement will be used in examples below. (Bruner et al, 2011)

The distance of the target from the muzzle plays a large role in wounding capacity, for most bullets fired from handguns have lost significant kinetic energy (KE) at 100 yards, while high-velocity military .308 rounds still have considerable KE even at 500 yards. Military and hunting rifles are designed to deliver bullets with more KE at a greater distance than are handguns and shotguns.

The type of tissue affects wounding potential, as well as the depth of penetration. (Bartlett, 2003) Specific gravity (density) and elasticity are the major tissue factors. The higher the specific gravity, the greater the damage. The greater the elasticity, the less the damage. Thus, lung tissue of low density and high elasticity is damaged less than muscle with higher density but some elasticity. Liver, spleen, and brain have no elasticity and are easily injured, as is adipose tissue. Fluid-filled organs (bladder, heart, great vessels, bowel) can burst because of pressure waves generated. A bullet striking bone may cause fragmentation of bone and/or bullet, with numerous secondary missiles formed, each producing additional wounding.

Police reveal new development in Las Vegas shooting. This could be a game-changer.

Las Vegas police on Monday revealed that Stephen Paddock shot Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos six minutes before opening fire on the crowd below — and the police now have no idea why he stopped shooting at the crowd when he did.

What did the latest briefing say?

Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo revealed Monday during a news conference that Campos did not distract Paddock from focusing on the massacre, noting that Paddock shot Campos before opening fire on the crowd. https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FPamelaAHolt.365%2Fposts%2F1720003558049957&width=500

Police reveal new development in Las Vegas shooting. This could be a game-changer.

This, however, is not the case and begs the question of why Paddock stopped shooting at the crowd below.

What’s new in the updated police timeline?

According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department’s updated timeline:

9:59 p.m.: Campos approaches the suspect’s room after being notified that an open door alarm had been tripped on the same floor. Campos is shot in the leg and injured. He notifies hotel security, according to Lombardo. (This new information contradicts initial reports, which suggested that Campos approached Paddock’s room during the shooting, prompting him to cease firing on the crowd.)
10:05 p.m.: Paddock begins firing bullets at the crowd.
10:12 p.m.: Two officers arrive on the floor below Paddock and determine that gunfire is coming from above.
10:15 p.m.: Paddock stops firing on the crowd.
10:17 p.m.: Two officers arrive on the 32nd floor after leaving the 31st.
10:18 p.m.: Campos, who was shot nearly 20 minutes prior, tells law enforcement that he has been shot and provides them with the location of Paddock’s room.
10:26-10:30 p.m.: Eight more officers arrive on the scene and clear the entire 32nd floor.
    10:55 p.m.: Officers approach Paddock’s room.
11:20 p.m.: Paddock’s door is stormed and law enforcement enters, only to find the suspect dead.
11:27 p.m.: Officers breach a second room in Paddock’s suite, but discover that it is vacant.
