“Tense mood as lawmakers struggle for debt deal”
“A bitter mood prevailed on Capitol Hill as lawmakers struggled on Saturday to find a compromise measure to lift the nation’s $14.3 trillion debt limit three days before a deadline to avert a ruinous default.
A day after the Republican-led House of Representatives passed a bill to cut the deficit and raise the cap on government borrowing, the debt saga shifted to the Democratic-led Senate.
Democrats there pushed ahead with their own plan and sought to attract bipartisan support by adding some elements of a plan offered by Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell.
But 43 Senate Republicans signed a letter rejecting the plan, a sign the measure does not have the support it needs to advance in Congress.
“What will they vote for? Do they have any ideas? Let me know,” Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid said on the Senate floor.
Back-channel talks held the best hope for a compromise. Unless Congress raises the debt ceiling, the government would be barred from further borrowing after Tuesday, according to the Treasury, and could quickly run out of money to pay all its bills.
The world has watched with growing alarm as political gridlock in Washington has brought the world’s largest economy close to an unprecedented default, threatening to plunge financial markets and economies around the globe into turmoil.
McConnell called on Reid to move up a vote that had been set for 1 a.m. EDT on Sunday so the two sides could begin talks with the White House.
“We can’t do it by ourselves, it has to have the only person in America who can sign something into law,” McConnell said.”

In the above there are some interesting summaries of Saul Alinsky’s teachings. As we know, both Obama and Hillary have been fully indoctrinated by the precepts he taught.
Considering Obama’s stance during the debt crisis debates, I was particularly struck by the following quote:
The Education of the Organizer
“…the organizer must be able to split himself into two parts — one part in the arena of action where he polarizes the issue to 100 to nothing, and helps to lead his forces into conflict, while the other part knows that when the time comes for negotiations that it really is only a 10 percent difference.” p.78″
Also:
“An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent.”
Don’t forget Obama has been well schooled and experienced in the “art” of community organizing. He is acting out his belief system – neo-Marxism.

We cannot be effective in resisting the enemy if we don’t understand his methods and plans, imho.
Americans Elect seems to be emerging on the scene as a party for moderates. We’ve had the GOP crazies threaten to destroy Medicare, and we have had the Obama far left anti-Semites meet with the Muslim brotherhood, possibly send guns to drug cartels and try to tax everything in site. Moderates say enough is enough. A third party is almost sure to give Obama a second term unless sane people in the middle can take control of the situation. It is the moderates that determine elections. We will see. Should get interesting. All I can say is I am really mad at both parties right now.

The Alinskyites can win only if the people who they are trying to control are with out any drive, are illiterate, and have no strength of character,or a mental capacity from which to make their own decisions in life. Sadly this describes an ever growing cross section of Americans, who want someone else to do their work for them.

It occurs to me that the so called Democrats who think presently that they hold all the cards are wrong. There is now a very strong voter under current which is gaining strength exponentially. While people like the SLIME (RINKEY DINK REID) thinks that he is in control of the Senate the reality is that he only controls those who WANT TO BE CONTROLLED. This is only a verbal control,and is effective with those who do not have the capacity to think for themselves. That is the mentality that we now have in the Senate. Therein lies part of the reason why the Senate has done nothing to address the eligibility issue. He along with certain others have been able to make fellow Senators believe that they KNOW IT ALL. Sadly there it is again ………THOSE WHO WANT TO BE CONTROLLED……..have WEAK MINDS.

The so called Alinskyites can only brow beat you if you let them. If you believe what they rave,and rant about, which is ONLY WORDS, then it is not them it is you. If they already control what you believe,and think, then you have ALREADY LOST THE VERBAL BALL GAME.
