SEASONALLY ADJUSTED DATA
In the week ending May 15, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 471,000, an increase of 25,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 446,000. The 4-week moving average was 453,500, an increase of 3,000 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 450,500.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 3.6 percent for the week ending May 8, unchanged from the prior week’s unrevised rate of 3.6 percent.
The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending May 8 was 4,625,000, a decrease of 40,000 from the preceding week’s revised level of 4,665,000. The 4-week moving average was 4,642,500, a decrease of 9,500 from the preceding week’s revised average of 4,652,000.
The fiscal year-to-date average of seasonally adjusted weekly insured unemployment, which corresponds to the appropriated AWIU trigger, was 5.146 million. ”

This is OT but is in addition to my last comment. Chuck Baldwin has some grounding in the Constitution Party. If this is true,and should he ever come into a position of leadership of that party,it will be the end of that party. He is an advocate of an ALL female Military. Those of us who have been in the military know that this notion is totally irrational. When the enemy discovers that he is up against an all female force what do you think he will do? I can tell you easily. He will send in a male unit trained in hand to hand combat,and it will be the END of the female fighting force. The notion of an all female fighting force is a product of an irrational, and otherwise sadly misinformed mind,with respect to how the military fights. I have a hands on knowledge of this because I at least have participated in TWO of our services. I don’t claim to be a know it all but I do know what works,and what doesn’t work.

While I agree with this statement from Baldwin,

Late last evening I read through the 39 pages of information re. Obama’s soc. security no’s and various addresses. My cursory observation was that there were various numbers in use (or, at least, outstanding) even while he was in public office in Illinois. I tell you, if you haven’t looked at that research done by two different, independent investigators, you need to. Oh, we always hear (and I believe) that he was using multiple numbers, but when you actually scroll down 39 pages of listings, the impact is astounding. There were different spellings of his name used at times, and, of course, those pages do include those of some family members also.
Also, observe the many different addresses!! There are comments re. some – such as “not in existence”, etc.
Tell me, please!! What has this usurper been up to? Yes, we have heard “stolen identity”, CIA
connections, ad nauseam…….But as late as Years
2004 – 2006? There has got to be something big about this – bigger than has been thought.

It is possible that I took his remarks OUT OF CONTEXT, but at the same time I didn’t see any words that could be seen as a disclaimer. If he is indeed against the “watering down “of our military he needs to say that directly. Perhaps he did in so many words, and I missed it. If I did then I retract everything that I said. You all know how I feel with regard to our military services. I am quick to anger when I perceive that they are being acted against. There is so much of this sort of thing going on it is easy to misread the jest of a statement. Yet I have seen little regarding Mr. Baldwin that would convince m,e of his sincerity as a patriot. I will be researching his past in earnest. If he is to ultimately run for POTUS as a Constitution Party candidate,I will neeed to know a whole lot more about him before I vote for him. I think that everyone would agree that the more we know about a candidate’s past the better choices we can make at the voting booth.

Regarding our past actions;
Contrary to Mr Baldwin’s statement that every action that we have ever been involved in also involved the UN. HE IS DEAD WRONG. Only the old League of Nations existed prior to the UN. It was a total failure. WW1,WW2,and the Korean wars were not fought with UN INVOLVEMENT. There was American Allies, but this did not come to pass as aresult of anything the UN done. I would say that there was more involvement of NATO, than the UN. NATO did exist during the Korean war. Interestingly most rifles that were issued to these troops were chambered for the old .308 (NATO) cartridge. Many of the rifles were either LEE Enfield, or rechambered US Springfield bolt action rifles.

I’m still upset about him ridiculing anybody who questions Obama’s eligibility, but maybe he will explain his reasons in the near future. However, I love that he has been educating everybody daily on the founders, books to read, and tying in all the connections of Crime Inc. Where are the real journalists? I would venture a guess that someone in the Obama administration wrote his speech, coached him on the phonetic pronunciation of “racial profiling” (of course, they missed the coaching on how to say “law”) and suggested that he give “his” speech at the House of Reps. Yesterday, at the joint press conference they were falling all over each other to see who could criticize and lie about the Arizona law the most, I knew when I saw the speech today that they were staging the whole thing for political impact.

I do agree that Obama is purposely pissing off the Military by Repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and putting Women on Subs to shake them up. Subs are not like Ships. Guaranteed that most (if not all) women serving on Subs will get pregnant until Stringent Rules are passed. This is not against women in the Military, but subs are a different situation. Subs rarely get Liberty Ports and are underway without seeing any land for long periods of time. Ships have a requirement to hit port at least every 30 days. I was never on a Sub, but I was stationed on a Sub-Tender for my second ship. ALL SHIPS I served on had women on them. I had no problem serving with Women. This is a List of the Ships I have been on.
1 USS Lexington (AVT-16) 1985 – 1987
2 USS Simon Lake (AS-33) 1987 – 1989
3 USS America (CV-66) 1991 – 1993
4 USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) 1998 – 2002 (Served on this ship Twice)
For those who say that “They didn’t put women on active duty Air Craft Carriers until 1994/95, listen up. On my 1992 Deployment (Got My Shellback on this one), We had a group of 6 Women that came on board with their Squadron. They were told to pack for 3 days due to them leaving as soon as repairs were preformed on their Aircraft. They wound up staying for the Entire Deployment. When the Ike (the first ship to OFFICIALLY have Women) went underway, 98% of the new women on-board came back pregnant. Fortunately, rules were passed and the pregnancies were greatly reduced. Most Pregnant women just get xfered to shore duty now.

Dennis Blair, director of national intelligence, is stepping down after a series of high-profile clashes with the CIA and a damaging report from Congress on intelligence failures.
“It is with deep regret that I informed the president today that I will step down as director of national intelligence effective Friday, May 28th,” Blair said in a statement.
Blair, a retired admiral, has had troubled relations with CIA Director Leon Panetta concerning who has authority over U.S. intelligence operations. The two butted heads over the appointment of a CIA station chief, a battle Panetta ultimately won.
There’s no word on who will replace Blair. The administration already has “been interviewing several strong candidates to be his replacement,” a U.S. official said Thursday.
Congress created the DNI in response to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, expressly to help the intelligence community better share and analyze information about terrorist threats.
The announcement comes the same week that the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence issued a report that sharply criticized the Obama administration for intelligence lapses surrounding the botched Christmas Day bombing.
The report, signed by Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Christopher Bond (R-MO), cited 14 failures to connect the dots within U.S. intelligence circles. Some of the information would have prevented Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian, from boarding an airplane bound for Detroit with explosives in his underwear, the lawmakers said.
Abdulmutallab was taken into custody and is cooperating with U.S. prosecutors. President Obama has said the episode could have cost the lives of 300 passengers and crew.
Blair told the Senate Homeland Security Committee in February that the administration should have sent a High Value Detainee Interrogation Group unit to Detroit to question Abdulmutallab. But at the time of his remarks, the group was not yet in operation — the White House had not signed off on its charter.
Later that day, Blair issued a statement saying his remarks had been “misconstrued.”

I’m with you, Helen. My heart and mind could rally, but physically, well……. Also, in retrospect, I have to admit that the only time I ever fired a revolver was during the 60’s when the race riots were in full swing. A friend insisted that I have a revolver and took me into the desert for a little target practice. (I ended up having to put cotton in my ears – hahaha!) To tell you the truth, however, we here in Arizona may be facing hoards of “you-know-who” doing home invasions, because they believe that this state belongs to them. First of all, patriotism is gravely lacking among most reporters. Then there is no question, snooping around can be dangerous business. Perhaps the most inhibitive factor is plain and simple” laziness”. The attitude among so many is why should they go beyond business as usual? They are getting a regular paycheck (if not a free-lance journalist) so why put in any extra effort? It is indeed a travesty, isn’t it?

EDMONDS, Wash. – The man accused of raping a woman behind an Edmonds grocery store has been deported at least four times in the past 15 years, reports KIRO Radio.
An officer responding to a woman’s cry for help Sunday night found 46-year-old Jose Madrigal on top of the woman and arrested him.
According to court documents, the woman told police that Madrigal had followed her and offered her $35 for sex, but she said no. She said Madrigal then forced her into the bushes on the north side of the store and raped her.
Documents say Madrigal told police “Sometimes we have control in our brains, but we make mistakes.”
The 28-year-old Edmonds woman was treated at a hospital.
Snohomish County prosecutors have charged Madrigal in district court with second degree rape. He is also is being held for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

The needs for family survival are the same today as they were when our economy was booming from 2000 to 2007. Housing, transportation, food, energy, medical help, education, furniture, entertainment and of course inter net access are the means of survival for modern man. The only item that has come between these needs and the publics’ ability to obtain them is this current government that is hell bent upon “redistributing the wealth.”
They repeat they want to take the wealth from the wealthy and give to the non wealthy so that the under privileged (by their definition) will enjoy the benefits previously only enjoyed by the wealthy. This sounds like a well intentioned road-to-hell-good-idea to the bleeding hearts ignorant but it is not a good idea. The reason being is because when this regime is through redistributing the wealth it will be like this:
The wealthy will have been looted and the loot will be divided among those in power. The poor will get no more than they already have and may very well lose many benefits they already enjoy, and the wealthy who were looted will have no more to be taken and many of them may deteriorate to the become among the poor with their hands out for government alms. The looters will take all the power and all the wealth they redistributed for themselves.
This evil plan began long before Obama was in office with the George Soros instigated plan to withdraw billions from the American and world banks around the same hour at the end of August 2008. Remember when Hank Paulson claimed the banks were “too big to fail” and they were bailed out while Bush was still in office?
Then the first major act of pirating by the commander & thief after he fraudulently assumed presidency was the “stinkulus bill” that was supposed to create jobs. That just turned out to be Obama’s “pay for his play” fund.
The deeper in debt Obama puts America in, the more unemployment, the more government hand outs, the more he can make honest, hard working middle America lose all they have, the happier Obama, George Soros or Maurice Strong are.
They are practicing Cloward/Piven theories while they use Saul Alinsky tactics upon America while they deliberately attempt to totally bankrupt and takeover America so it can become their oligarchy!
The only item standing between American citizen’s prosperity and restoration of every American’s rights is Obama and his shadow government of czars. Calling an illegal alien an ‘undocumented immigrant’ is like calling a drug dealer an ‘unlicensed pharmacist’
John McCain is one of the biggest loser senators in recent history and the pool from which to choose is big! John McCain has no one to blame for the porous border other than himself. He has aided and abetted illegal immigration and now that the end of his political career is in sight, he is back pedaling as fast as he can. His vote controls 1/100th of the Federal government and yet illegals still pour over the border without effective federal restraints.
McCain then leaves real leaders like governor Brewer and sheriff Arpaio to clean up his mess. I hope AZ voters give McCain the boot.
We have similar problems in Texas. Our governor Rick Perry is conservatively “all hat no cattle” and unfortunately we have two RINO senators.

We are certainly going to try to keep McCain from getting reelected. I am getting so sick and tired of these Rinos who have the philosophy of “go along to get along.” Where is their spine? My step son is soon retiring from SUB service. He is a Missile Tech 1. I feel a little small when he is around. I served aboard a SUMNER Class DD, and lastly aboard an APD which is a converted DE. They both became pretty wild rides in heavy seas.

I had to breakaway early today to keep another DR appointment. After he got done with me today all I wanted to do was hit the pad,which I done when my wife drove me home. Some tests can make you feel really out of it.
